All this music kills me, I mean I love it, but it just reminds me of my childhood. Sitting on my grandmothers bed, playing N64 with my father. Very fond memories, its just a sad reality that I'll never get to do that again with him. But I can come back here and listen to all these songs, they may not be OST songs but they carry enough of the original feel that its pure nostalgia. Thank you for all this!
Man, when this playlist first came out it had me nostalgic for zelda, now 5yrs later I've come back and I'm nostalgic for the playlist itself. 5 years ago this introduced me to Lazerhawk for the first time. Thank you
I think i've watch this mix more 30 times and still came back to relisten again, its a masterpiece that not only reminds me of the past, but the journey itself, the up and downs, looking back to go forward typa shit I love you all i hope in 2024 people still listening and tripping to this
This is my favorite playlist of yours and I play this all the time while working at a prop studio. I love that you've included a speed run that's roughly an hour with a trippy affect without it being too distracting. The playlist is good too and has a nice mix of slower weirder vaporwave with some game remixes, lo fi, and synth music to mix it up. I very much appreciate this and hope you do more speedrun playlists like it in the future. Thank you!
In my opinion the best Zelda game is twilight princess. I think the music and a e s t h e t i c are really great and it is just an overall good experience (except for the ending, I thought it was kinda trash). In link to the past and ocarina of time I would get struck with boredom in sections and they would feel like a chore to get through. I'm not saying I dislike the games, but I don't love them.
I really like twilight princess too. Although I’d say the “boring parts” of twilight princess were definitely still apparent. The parts where you’re a wolf got a little annoying and chorey. Still, great game.
Visuals remind me of when I tripped after playing this game on a phone for like a week. I imagined a psychedelic dungeon mostly black except the walls were rainbow like this except more fluid and chaotic. Thx for giving me a smile remembering that
watching this made my brain feel like being gently wrapped in pillows I have no words to describe how comfortable I feel watching this, it's like playing the game in my parents' living room in 1997 thank you!!
even though it is not exactly zelda still one of my go to drinking playlists ;) ... for at least a year now lol perfect for chilling out early drinks before i get into it properly :)
Thanks! I know labeling it Zeldawave pissed off a lot of people, but like I told Kotaku and my buddy on his podcast, I think these collections are less prescriptive, and much more descriptive. They're supposed to be vibes that take you back to the feels we had playing these games when they came out, or when we first experienced them.
it just fits so perfectly with that beat. bottom right corner.. bottom left corner.. then both top corners together.. matching up to the next beat in this nice slow cycle. i presume some simple trickery can be done by using certain cycle loops to carry on the animation.
Can be done. Once my real job lightens up I will definitely be putting more work into these. Would like to record my own gaming footage while doing one and turning it into a weird psychadelic let's play or something, having someone else working the sound.
I know y'all are saying the visuals are not distracting, and for the most part, I agree with y'all ....but have you seen 38:53 ?? That shit is what I see before I blackout homeboy
@@ericcenteno342 I did not know that but it makes sense his daughter is named zelda I miss him a lot rip robin Williams you were a great man and you lived a great life

Nah Link's awakening was the best.
/Just wanted to troll and lol a bit/
a link to the past and wind waker , best zelda games ever .
Twilight princess is the best Zelda, a link to the past is second, ocarina of time is 3rd, windwaker 4th and minish cap 5th
Thank you for this! Wonderful work. I love remembering my childhood gaming memories.
the trippy visuals on the game are so dope. wherecan i play a version of it like that! lol
I can listen to this all day, all the time.
I hope this channel uploads more videos soon, it causes me so much nostalgia
Link to the past was an amazing game. Link between worlds was an epic homage. This mix does both justice. Thank you!
Amazing mix. I had chills for a solid hour. o:
nice TAS and even better music

listening and watching this gives me this sense of nostalgia for a link to the past, a game I haven't even fully played
Game is a hidden gem
Hot take: you should play this game its actually pretty good
This is my favourite vaporwave mix... Tanks u for making my dude
Chris Hansen thank you so much for the support. I'm puttng a lot of thought into my next project so we'll see what happens ;)
Okay, I subbed at the 8 min mark, this is great!
Loved it, thanks from my heart and my souls. LOVE from Costa Rica
genuinely enjoyed listening to this, made me really nostalgic for my vaporwave days
Some of the better quality playlists out there
I want to play this version of LTTP, looks very distracting, might give my muscle memory a run for it's money haha
4:09 rip player lol
Hey if you've never played the LTTP randomizer you should check it out
@WilliamMark yeah I've seen a bunch of rom hacks since then. The LTTP/Super Metroid crossover is nice too
@@Extraordinarynobody5 yeah lmao just realized this was commented 5 years ago😅
46:15, i don't know how long i've been trying to get into the stairs now
Ten mins of what I came for, followed by an hour of what no one asked for.
Fantastic stuff, dude. Love this kinda music.
Such a great playlist, so awesome 👌
thank you so much for uploading/making this. what a trip down nostalgia lane...beautiful

The gameplay goes together with the music
Best wave compilation I've heard so far. Thnx.
dude i need to listen more of your stuff when I get the time, you def. deserve more subs bro !=)
I'm just the mixer, but glad you like them ;)
i know bro
Whoever reads this you are awesome keep up the good work and don't give up it gets better. Have a great day
good vaporwave mix. paying homage to the greats. love it
calmness
Hearing the voice clip of Nicole from Dead Space at the end reminded me of how much fun I had with that game when I was a lot younger
This is amazing making work smoother for me today
Am I tripping or do LInk's actions sync up perfectly with 48:38 "Enjoy Yourself"...?
I'd love to give this more than just 1 thumbs up this is legit!
I'm high, both music and video are bringing me to the outer recesses of my consciousness. Thank you!
So glad Miami Nights is in this
Dis a p gud mix, mang
great mix
WHOA!!!! Awesome.
the world needs more of this in its life.
nice mix man, you earned a sub. your other vids are great too! the only part i didn't like was when it ended =D
Thank you for making me feel good
And it's a TAS of ALTTP. Perfect :3
Dire, Dire docks! nice!
11:14 i was really liking that. should've looped it for a second. lol
Once I get a proper setup I will be ;)

Blessed.
dope visuals
Honestly my favorite type of music
"Help, Guards!" The people of the land..
They need to create roms exactly like this to play.
I feel back in the past
Still such an amazing list.
I know y'all are saying the visuals are not distracting, and for the most part, I agree with y'all
....but have you seen 38:53 ??
That shit is what I see before I blackout homeboy
Speedrunning strats Kreygasm
So good!
welcome to the cool part of youtube gents.
Um. This is my new favorite
I thought I started a summoning salt video at the end there.
best trip ever...
2Pac and Zelda in the same place. Never thought I'd see the day.
super nice to do homework to
Jordan Graupmann glad to hear it ;)
also, is this game-play a TAS? or some weird speedrun?
Jordan Graupmann I think it was TAS if I remember correctly
alright sounds cool
hey kurodan, i keep coming back to this song and i wonder, will you come back to making these songs?
man, I'd love to have this mix on bandcamp...
for some reason this video reminds me of charles sanders peirce
9:36 is actually HOME - Climbing Out
Changed, thanks ;)
Heard Dire Dire Docks and was very intrigued. Heard Lazerhawk right after and fell in love.
So much of this mix is just copy-pasted from another popular vaporware mix, but I still love it.
Nice mix!
Wishing more and more for a time machine
"JOYRIDE - 事故" should actually be credited to VEKTROID - Calm
This is cooool 😂❤
25:52 that transition tho
how do you get that greenscreen filter?
visuals hurt my eyes
Can we get the first part as a stand alone loop
Next project, expect it soon.
There's no music from A Link to the Past.
That's one of the main points I think I think it's supposed to be music to fit the tippy stuff I might be wrong though
You have to download this version to get these songs
this plays when a zelda fan is in there death bed
motherfan142 Fun Fact: Robin Williams was a huge Legend of Zelda fan!
wow thats...even more depressing not in a bad way robin williams is a fantastic voice actor i was crying my eyes out when i found out he was dead
You beat me to it. RIP Robin
His daughter is named Zelda I mean I know I’m late this thread, but yeah, RIP to a legend.
@@ericcenteno342 I did not know that but it makes sense his daughter is named zelda I miss him a lot rip robin Williams you were a great man and you lived a great life
Ain't nothin like the old school
Get someone who loves you as much as I love the Jolly Roger Bay song
144p is where it's at.
Pinche link están buenos los hongos perro.
Im trippin'!
did NOT expect a 2Pac B-side when I played this
So…happy…
set the speed to 0.5 for optimal viewer experience
Wow that is awesome
future me: no specific part is good, it's all good! (would i use a semicolon instead of comma in that sentence? idk.)
Beautiful music to listen to while not having to pay attention to shit :) thanks bru
knowledge is infinite/everything around you, I promise you this
kurodon85, do know where that song at 18:37 is located? It seems to be lost.
im gonna pop a tab, then watch this......LMAO
