I use the power button on my 2015 iMac maybe 2x per year; the power button is not an issue. Macs don't need to be turned off and I only need the power button if there is a power outage. Even my 2015 27" intel iMac barely sips power when in sleep mode and unlike Windows, macOS sleep mode works perfectly.
I'd love to have one of these M4 Minis to make a new desktop setup. Unfortunately my lowly 2019 i5 6 core iMac STILL does the job ... benchmarks be damned.
I'm a Canon guy but this video is super crispy. You also have a very nice setup that I envy. Funny enough I really like the mister behind you (any links?). Also, what monitors are you using? I will probably be upgrading my 27" iMac soon and the Studio Display is probably the best choice but SUPER $$$$. But 4k monitors generally have issues with text on macs. Any suggestions?
all apple has to do is officially support Windows 11 ARM via bootcamp and PCs with discrete graphics within similar power wattage to this mac mini wont be able to compete in price and performance
Yeah no one mentions this M4 and A18 are V9.2b new architecture! Also the 240gb if you use the Apple music software eats a whopping 80gb of music samples!
Too Good too be true. Mac Mini M4 Sequoia has many issues. This is the first time Mac gave me problems. Printer Issues: After replacing the ink in Epson printer, the Mac Mini M4 still wouldn't detect the printer's status correctly. After removed the printer in Sequoia, and added it back to get it to work. I even bought HP Laser. Found another problem. Sequoia won't scan pdf document from the printer to Mac Mini. PDF Problems: The Page won't open PDF files. Intel Mac never have any issues with pdf or pinrter. I installed LibreOffifce. After edited a PDF in LibreOffice, converted it to ODT, then exported to PDF. I thought I can keep MacMini and it solved pdf issues. After opened PDF, it is garbage text. (smeared and unreadable). VMware Fusion Compatibility: After installed VMware Fusion, it shows blank media. While the M processor is great for gaming and video editing, it is lacking for business-related tasks like handling PDFs, printers, and virtualization. In the end, I return the Mac Mini and purchase a Lenovo Ideapad with an Intel Core i5 processor, 16GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD for just $499 (on sale from $859). The Lenovo is running smoothly without the issues. While I am not a fan of Windows 11, the Lenovo’s performance and reliability made it the better choice for my work, especially compared to the Mac's problems.
FYI front USB C is not Thunderbolt 5
USB-C is the form factor. What kind of USB is it though? 3.2 Gen2x2 can go like 40Gbps.
@@guntingNope. It is only a max of 10 Gb/s ports in the front. 3 Thunderbolt 5 ports on the back with the M4 Pro Mac Mini.
Definitely looking to get a mac mini this holiday

what is that light you have above the 1 studio display?
how loud are the fans? thanks!
Silent. Unless you completely push it to 100% max and then it makes some mild noise.
If people hate the power button so much just store the computer top down kow the power button is on top.

All your issues with Mac mini should be solved with a software update
