Does anyone else take, like, 10 listens before they max out on enjoyment of a Lindsey Stirling song? She's great, but I didn't think I liked this song when I first heard it, but now it's seriously growing on me.

Same! The first couple of times I heard this song, I loved the verses but the high note in the chorus was super harsh and I hated it. But after a few more listens, I actually ended up liking the high note and now it's one of the best parts of the song. I think this is my favorite Lindsey song to this day because it's so intense and really takes me on a journey. I've heard it hundreds of times, but even still by the end of the song, I'm blown away by how amazing it is. Same with Shatter Me.

Every year, I visit the Pyrenees on vacation for a day, and every time I play this song, then leave it alone for the rest of the year, save the rare moments in which I reminisce. To me this song just displays the grand majesty of the mountains. I love them so much.

I don't know what the deal is. I'm a long time stirlingite, I've listened to this song and all of your music millions of times. But just now I started watching this and I burst into tears. I'm a 15 year old guy who never cries at anything, yet, I'm sitting hear in tears.
If this is about suicide or death I can relate. At 22 I had my first suicide attempt. I used pills, went to sleep, woke up, drove home and puked. The second time was at 34, at which time I collapsed onto the floor with narrow vision. I called out for Jesus. My strenght came back along with my vision immediately. I struggle with depression since my 20s and with God since my preteens. I'm still here, for reasons I don't know yet. I came across your music late 2018 and been a fan since. Your music is very much appreciated Lindsey, thank you very much!!!
This mostly looks like about submerging into something and feeling the beauty of it, finding yourself. Not really about the suicide, imho

I was bullied at school and in 2007 the depression almost led me to suicide. At that moment I thought about what Jesus went through, it was much worse. Words hurt, but they are nowhere near the pain of those whips. Songs like Lindsey's are wonderful and make us reflect and calm, listening to her instrumental songs, nowadays I have improved a lot. Reflection is what I learned to do by listening to Lindsey.
Ur here cause it’s not ur time to go, u have more to do than u realize and one day it will dawn on u the reason ur still here. What ever it is ur meant to do here. It will come to u and u will enjoy it I’m sure! I struggled with mental illness with multiple suicide attempts but now I’m a mother of a beautiful girl who’s 14 years old and I haven’t tried to kill me self since I have to be here for her ! I can’t imagine not! She’s my reason for being here. And u will find urs too! Good luck! I’m. Out here just like u. It can make sense one day
@The Mulberry Girl. I am still alive, I havent struggled with suicide since that last attempt, very little isolation or thought of if too. It was and eye opening experience that was needed for life.
I dont struggle with suicide any more, I thought this song reflected that.

Nice idea non original but common and endearing... No battle needed no one could top Vanessa Mae tho they both have different feels to playing violin and both look beautiful and would deserve more credit so few instrumentalists get as much recognition compared to singers and movie stars. I recently and i mean very recently found joy in dancing (though its just amateurish movements) and I just find that lindseys music while i dance brings out a kind of exhilaration that i dont feel with other pieces of music.
Then again theres probably not many instruments like the violin created on this way that can naturally make you want to move just out of habit. Once I start it's hard to stop

Erva Fidan She's noted before that she does, surprisingly, sit still while recording songs so that they're the best quality.
anybody else love music that just sends shivers through your body? those songs are few and far between for me and they're all my favorites.
that being said this is the first song to actually get me choked up with it's sheer passion and melody. on top of the constant shivers that I've come to love. Lindsey Stirling I know you probably won't see this and I'm sure you already know this but you are nothing short of a talent filled miracle with that violin of yours. Every time I hear this song I feel so happy, this was the first song that I listen of her in the brave enough tour, a friend invited me to her concert and I didn’t even know who she was, yes, I listen a couple song of her but I didn’t really like them or I wasn’t to hype listening the song, then in the show I was amazed with the songs, such perfect combination of sounds, the drums and the gorgeous violin, I went to her councert knowing nothing about her and in the next day I was addicted to her, thank you Lindsey, this song will stay in my heart forever
loved that solo-like part at 1:35 and 3:20, those are the same notes used in Elements and Crystallize. Is really cool that you recicle that solo.part in several songs
