Lmao, “should I add 6 garlic cloves for us?” Too real. That’s how we do in my house, too, ahaha! Recipes never call for enough garlic. Speaking of music, I watched this week’s vlog (I’m a week late on this one) and I wanted to say that the music was “it” on that vlog - it just seemed extra like a vibe. =) Kudos to Kyuho for music choices.

Man such a treat to always get to see those cherry blossoms every year. I remember when we were in Tokyo in 2019 during that season (we specifically targeted that time to see them). I literally stood on a street we were on and closed my eyes trying to savor the moment since cherry blossoms are so beautiful and it's not something this American can see every year. But yeah, always look forever to see those in your videos every year. That street definitely is picturesque. Great for the Insta or Tiktok haha.
I totally get ‘just trying to savor the moment’ when it comes to cherry blossom season. Honestly, even though we live here, we never feel like it gets old 🥹🌸

Hi Both. Just watched this week's episode and the picture of the Ugly fish is known as Monk Fish in the UK. A meaty fish which is now quite expensive. Back when I was growing up it was very cheap to buy and make a meal. It was also used for making Scampi. Fish cubes deep fried in bread crumbs with chips and tartar sauce. Bemo looking healthy and into everything. Thanks for the video.

I used to live in Mexico City and there were days at a time I could barely walk a block to a building I couldn't even see when I started. Air like soup. But when it cleared? Glorious! Life in the city, I guess???

Food prices are crazy. How does the doctor strikes affect every day life? I can’t imagine what it would do to the Canadian health care system. Beautiful cherry blossoms.

A nice place a friend introduced me to last year is Gelateria L'albero di Gingko. It's north of Namsan, southwest of Myeongdong. It's tiny but has an unexpected upstairs.

Right now at the little market I work at we have quart of strawberries 2.50 (sale) quart of blueberries 4.99 watermelon the size of a softball 3.99 but they should be 6.99 we had to take a hit or they wouldn’t sell

Unfortunately here in Halifax it's still very cold and really windy today. We have lovely sunny days but it's so cold I don't feel like going out because of the temperature, sigh. I hope it warms up soon.

The tofu dish looked very yummy. Food prices in Vancouver are crazy. Shrink-flation is out of control. I have noticed even bread is smaller, but the price is higher. Strawberries her are about the same price, however when we get into May / June the farms are abundant, so price should go down.
It actually turned out really good! We’ll definitely be having it again~ Yeahh, it seems like the food prices have shot up pretty much everywhere :(

SINGAPORE HAS TIM HORTONS!!!! I tried the ice capp, it was SO GOOD 😍 the timbits were so expensive though, it was like SGD$1 (KRW1,000) for ONE 💀
That timbit price is INSANE 😨 In Canada a box of 50 timbits is $9.99 CAN 🍩 The ice cap is my ride or die though, SO good 😍

I just got home from a week visit in Seoul. I missed the really bad air quality and got to see all of cherry blossom spots in the city. But maybe you can answer this question, why isn’t there a big box electronics store that has everything in it like toys. I went to himart and it was a little bare bones like Walmart. Maybe I’m comparing it against like a Bic Camera in Japan. I did find hanboks in gwanchang market. I went to the market early because I didn’t want to deal with the crowds from noon to later 😂
3:48 speak of inflation, the prices for milk, meat, eggs and fruits have skyrocketed in the US by 30% in the last couple of years. Sure, it depends on which part of the ginormous USA.
The pollution is one reason me and my husband decided to leave Korea after 5 years there, I kept getting sinus infections at least once a year and would have to go on antibiotics, it just got to be too much eventually even though I wanted to stay
I’ve definitely had friends living in Korea who struggled a lot with the air quality.

I also am too impatient to drain tofu properly. Apparently, the trick is to put the tofu in between two paper towels and place the package in between two (heavy) cutting boards. Then, let the towels absorb the liquid for 20 minutes or so. But, who has time for that when you are hungry XD Great video as always. See you next week!

@@2hearts1seoul Hi Guys, I tried it with Shrimp. 🍤 OMG! It came out so yummy. I did have to tweak the recipe a little bit. I put more sugar and less black pepper. My Dad doesn't like too much pepper on his food. I love ginger and garlic, so I added more than the recipe required. Next time I'm going to try it with beef. 😋

Prices and shrinkflation are out of control in Toronto. There are tons of pictures on reddit of examples - grocery store ogliarchs would rather food spoil and be wasted than sell it at a decent price for record profits. There's actually a boycott happening for one of the chains, rhymes witb Robraws

한국의 유통구조가 참 희한하죠. 작년에는 사과 농장을 경영하는 지인이 사과농사를 대풍년으로 1년 간의 농사를 마무리했었지만.. 사과 값 폭락으로 출하 조차 못하고 수확 대부분을 사과즙이나 사과쥬스 업체에 넘겼었죠. 비축한 과일도 없고.. 봄이 되면서 갑자기 과일 수요가 폭증하면 감당을 못합니다. 당연히 과일 값이 오르는 거죠.. 일시적인 현상으로 봅니다. 하지만 올해 가을 수확철 까지는 비싼 가격을 지불해야 할 꺼에요. 농사가 이래서 어렵죠.
