Not only does Beemo have beautiful eyes…..his nose! His cute little button nose is perfect! I’m so happy that Beemo is on the road to recovery! I feel the same way, as you both, about taking down Christmas decorations. It’s so much fun to put up, but always so sad to take down. I just love how your collection has grown, from that first Christmas vlog from many years ago. Sarah….My niece is watching ‘The Glory,’ and she keeps wanting me to watch it. Being an American of Japanese descent, born and raised in a town/state where there were very few Asians, was horrible for me, as I was pretty much bullied on a daily basis. Being spat upon, being called ‘Chink and Jap,’ being chased every 7 December by kids holding their fake guns, yelling ‘you Japs bombed Pearl Harbor,’ and numerous other things, was very hard on my self esteem growing up. Any drama that you and Kyuho have always shared with us, has been great. While I was reluctant to watch this one, I think I will now that you said it’s good. Thank you for sharing your week! Oh, we went to have Yupdduk the other day. I tried sundae for the very first time. I’m sorry to say, that while the flavor was good. The texture was different for me. 😢 Take care guys!

Cats are normally healthy when they run around in the wild and hunt, but they can't digest because they don't exercise indoors, so it's good to use cat wheels.
Your enclosed patio is really functional, wish we had the same. You can grow plants there, extra space for pets, keep an exercise bike there, enjoy morning coffee . . .
We absolutely loooove having that veranda (what they’re call in Korea) area 🥰 We drink coffee and have breakfast out there in the warmer months, and it’s also where we keep our bikes.
Our air quality is terrible in western Canada too, which is odd since it’s usually great.

Another excellent video. I'm so happy to hear Beemo is doing better! YES! As for his pills, do you have pill pockets over there? If you haven't seen them, it's a soft pocket that you put the pill in and give it like a treat. For cats I've seen salmon and chicken flavors. Not every cat will do that, but many will. Much easier than the cat burrito with a pill gun method.
I was wondering what the green dessert was. I was thinking maybe matcha. I don't think I've had mugwort other than in a tea. It looked soooo delicious. (Sarah, I'm with you on the Soondae... ummm no thanks).
I want to try Skillshare but I struggle to find enough time to do my Korean homework. I don't know when I'd find time to do Skillshare. One day I hope I can do that as it looks excellent. It’s sad to see the holiday stuff being put away, but remember it’s less than 365 days until you enjoy them again. Since Kyuho’s Mom liked your winter village - you ought to get her started on her own little village! You could gift her her first house during the Lunar New Year festivities this year. It’s be great to find traditional Hanoks for her village!. Have you made a plan on the direction your content will take this year? I’d love to see even more of kyuho’s cooking and your baking. Maybe even some cooking segments from Kyuho’s mom!

I read the book because my boss gave it to me for my birthday, and I would say it was very captivating but also very weird AND creepy from some of the stories 😂 I loved it tho.

I felt the same when had to take down my Christmas decor… but now so happy with the Lunar New Year decor up… is Lunar decor big in Korea like in Asia?
Yeahhh, we’re always sad when we have to do it 🥲 But putting up our new calendar really helped ☺️ Sadly there’s not much Lunar New Year decor at all in Korea 🥲
When our senior cat was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, we had some difficulties getting her to take her medication in the beginning. Pill pockets didn't work and we felt like we were traumatizing her when we forced the pill down her throat. We now found a much easy way and our cat actually looks forward to it. We crush the pill into powder and mix it with some of the cat treat puree. She goes absolutely crazy for the puree it does a great job of hiding the bitter taste of the medication!
Hooo boy, we’ve tried that so many times before, even in his most favorite cat treat purée, but our dude takes one lick, makes a face, and walks away, lol 🥲

I have been jealous watching all the snow in your recent vlogs... I even watch a channel where the creator just walks around various parts of Seoul just for the snow. We finally got flurries in the East Coast of the USA where I live... but since I am borderline "in the South" we did not get anything like the Midwest or the Northeast. I am glad Beemo is on his slow road to recovery. I was curious and I may have missed this in a previous video, but what ever happened to that new camera you purchased? Are you still learning how it works or is using the iphone just a better option for portability and quality?

I'm literally a software engineer for one of the world's largest companies and I run my own small business and I still feel like a failure and a fraud and like I don't deserve it *all the time.* It's rough, so I feel her on that.

Oh my gosh, if even someone in your position has imposter syndrome, think of how many of us there must be 😳 It’s been something I’ve been dealing with all my life and has held me back a lot. I’m trying my best to tackle it this year.
@@2hearts1seoul I have honestly met so many people that have imposter syndrome and I feel like.... The more successful you are the worse it is? That's totally anecdotal but that's just my observation based on talking about it from other successful peers and friends? I hope you can tackle it and I hope I can too because that little voice can be so hurtful sometimes!
And yeah it has been like 4-10C here with no snow so far all winter which is REALLY warm considering we're usually like -15-0C here. February is usually the coldest but it isn't looking like we're gonna get temps anywhere near our usual cold. :(
Why not keep the tree up and decorate it differently for Seollal … Chinese way with little clementines and red envelopes …. And then keep changing the decoration with the seasons ….
Because then it wouldn’t feel special when Christmas comes around 🎄😉

Love your videos! I am curious....What exactly is..and where does all the "fine dust" come from? Does it cause the pollution you speak of? ( Or is the pollution also just other general city type pollution?) Does it become very dangerous for people's health?
Fine dust comes from China and Korea's domestic factories. Many Koreans are not sensitive to fine dust, but it is frustrating that the situations are going worse...:(

Yes it’s very dangerous for people’s health, which is why we tend to stay indoors on really bad fine dust days. If we do have to go out, we always wear our KF94 masks (Korea’s version of N95).
