That engine shouldn't sound like that on a cold start . You need to have that looked at sounds like it has air in the fuel lines . Ive worked on a few Bandits and been around a bunch of them and never heard one cold start that way. You can hear it backfiring through the intake thats generally a sign of running lean . That Place is looking nice with the cleanup your doing
All that shade helps that darn moss grow also. Getting that sun in there will help to start eliminating that. They do have some work ahead to get some decent grass coming along.
I would think it would crank and idle smoothly (like a car) if it's fuel injected. That start reminded me of carburetor/ choke issues of many years ago.
(When out of warranty)For both the Ford diesel and gasoline engines, 1) have run an earth cable from the battery negative terminal to the starter (rather than relying on the short battery earth to a chassis rail, then another short earth strap between a chassis rail and the engine block. 2) To keep the engine sump oil warmer (wolverine heater) and battery with removal overnight insulation, to spin the engine faster initially. 3) Throttle body cleaner & gasoline 'antifreeze' additive. 4) Check ethanol content of gasoline.
Is that how it has always started ? Just doesn't sound right or look good. Fuel, timing or temp sensor are off. What temperature is the engine reading at start up ? The Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor sends engine temperature information to the ECU. It is located in the rear coolant outlet pipe.
That red fuel/gas jug you show at the beginning of the video was the last best true gas can you could buy, unfortunately. The fuel cans like the other one you have in your truck are good too but today's gas cans are terrible.
That thing sounds like a Tin Can being kicked down the road. Lol
It still sounds better than me first thing in the morning. Remember its not as cold here in Ireland as it is there with you in America. LOL
That chipper needs to be looked at!!!

Completely agree. Maybe there is something in the programming that can be adjusted for cold start conditions
Man that thang is bad cold natured!🥶
Good video ❤😊
Good stuff Tim👌👍🙂

I have the same machine and it does the same thing. So I think is normal.
Ms Piggy 😂
Y’all didn’t know he put them big cams in there
Good setup Tim. Glad you didn’t get stung! Take care and stay safe bud! God bless!✝️🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Beautiful place since you cleaned it up!! Stay Hydrated and Have a Safe Day

That exhaust flapper needs to be made into an animal
Time for some plugs.
You might have to put glow plugs in it 😂
that chipper engine needs to be looked at. if that's a newer ford fuel injected V8, it should start just like a car.
Think she it's to cold
The breakdown of the wood will tie up nitrogen and cause poor grass growth. You add some nitrogen fertilizer to compensate.
I would get that engine checked out. I don't think it's running right. A fuel injection engine shouldn't run rough like that when cold.

Add “Polar Power” diesel fuel treatment
its gas...
@@michaels8706 I meant in the Kubota
That’s a way south machine, you live too far north for it….
thats terrible it should start like a gas truck
Good morning MR Tim how is it going from Bryer Floyd
Hi
