- This is an in-depth look at the 1904-1905 Welsh Revival which was the largest Christian revival in Wales during the 20th century. While by no means the best known of revivals, it was one of the most dramatic in terms of its effect on the population and triggered revivals in several other countries. "The movement kept the churches of Wales filled for many years to come, seats being placed in the aisles in Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Swansea for twenty years or so, for example. Meanwhile, the Awakening swept the rest of Britain, Scandinavia, parts of Europe, North America, the mission fields of India and the Orient, Africa and Latin America."

My Great Grandfather was saved in the Welsh revival, John Dan Jones, he was immediately cured of his alcoholism and all the life that coal miners led at the time, and became a preacher. I have audio tapes of his preaching. His descendants were all saved and the blessing of the Lord continues today in my family.

One of my great great uncles got saved in the Welsh Revival and now i am a born again believer thanks to my merciful God and probably the prayers of my ancestor !

My great grandmother received and was born again in the back of a covered wagon. I too am a born again Christian because of the prayers of my ancestors and I now pray for my children, my children’s children and as many as the Lord would call. I pray for all the nations of the world. Amen.

The one and only evidence that a man is BORN AGAIN, is that He can accept the “SPECIFIC WORD OF GOD FOR HIS DAY.”
In this Scripture we are told that the Lord Jesus Christ must REMAIN in Heaven until the times of RESTITUTION OF ALL THINGS,
Acts 3:20 + 21.
20. And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:
21. Whom the heaven must receive until the times of RESTITUTION OF ALL THINGS, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.
The word “RESTITUTION” means “RESTORE.”
The Lord stated that He would send HIS END TIME PROPHET to “RESTORE” the Word of God, as the Apostles knew it.
Matthew 17:11.
And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elijah truly shall first come, and RESTORE ALL THINGS.

Malachi 4:5.
Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet BEFORE the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.
This Elijah prophet comes BEFORE, “The coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord,” which happens in this day.
We are now living in the last days, God has kept His word and sent that prophet, thereby “RESTORING” His word to His Bride.
God has raised the dead on FIVE occasions through His chosen vessel.

The, “Elijah anointing,” (Concerning the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ) is used “TWICE.”
The first time 2,000 years ago, when God sent John the Baptist, then AGAIN in this day.
At each, “Coming of the Lord,” there is an Elijah prophet who precedes that, “Coming.”
Jesus said concerning John the Baptist.

Genuine repentance is the key. Turning completely from a life of sin; confessing Jesus is Lord. When I was born again, I was getting rid of all questionable behaviors and when God showed me my sinful state I was grieved to the core turning to him a HOLY HOLY HOLY God Jesus Christ our LORD. Welsh missionary came to our land on 1841 and introduced Jesus Christ to our tribe the khasi tribe then on 1906 revival came to our land then hundreds years later on 2006 revival come again on our land I've never seen anything like that the holy spirit just touch everyone right from children to old people

As I grew up in South Africa, I loved the hymn, “search me, O God” by J. Edwin Orr, the man in the red coat speaking near the end. I had no idea who he was, but I remembered the name. When my husband and I went to Amsterdam ‘86 where Billy Graham had gathered 8,000 native evangelists from around the world for wonderful spiritual and training. As we first walked into the huge pavilion where people were eating (KLM airline meals!), we found a place to sit and the White-haired gentleman next to me introduced himself as J. Edwin Orr. I was almost speechless! But I’ll never forget that meeting. I know now that he had studied revivals in depth and written books on various ones. Praise God for those he has raised up in the Church.
Revival has begun in Southern California. In Bakersfield, they had to get a bigger tent. In some cases, the people couldn’t wait for the end of the preaching but were groaning and crying out that they needed to get right with God right then. A drug dealer stamped on his drugs. People received healing as well. They had to get a bigger tent. This was going on night after night. They’re moving on to other cities. I hear of other places having revival as well. May it sweep over the land! And the world.
We are waiting and praying for a great revival like this , in India.

Would that that were true. Southern California is a mess. I was born in Victorville, California although I don't live there now, left decades ago. If there was Revival or is Revival hopefully those Christians will rise up and strengthen California through Jesus Christ by helping the homeless, cleaning up the streets, working on lowering crime, fighting against abortions, and not allowing children to take hormones to change their sex! But the state is so bad people are leaving in droves, oh, maybe it's the new Christians that are leaving, just fed up!

The first spark was 16yr old Florrie Evans, but there were years of prayer by many godly Christians before the first outbreak, some of whom remembered the 1859 revival. I recently visited the chapel where Evan Roberts was baptised in the Spirit in Blaennanerch, Ceredigion, West Cymru. The Churches and Chapels were busy before, but there was a lot of cold religion until the fire fell. Now its worse than ever, chapels demolished or converted to holiday homes, warehouses or just derelict. Churches are struggling with small elderly congregations. Very little interest in God in Cymru now. BUT God is more than able to bring us back to live, can these bones live? Lord, you know! If you want the fire, start prayer meetings, repent of sins, avoid doubtful things, speak about Jesus, no matter who you are, if we turn to him he will save us and bless us with the Holy Spirit.
Not just the Midwest, but in the East and West, North and South of our nation - come, Holy Spirit - revive US!
How great, enourmous is the need for such a revival in my country, Brazil. May the Lord agree with my prayers and in this very moment arise men and women all over the country, just like Evan Roberts, and sweep Brazil with His glory, healing my people from their blindness.

The Revival is happening but not as we think it's in Revelations the outpouring of the holy spirit is upon us and awakening us that have slept when we should have been believing and doing and seeing and feeling and walking as our Lord showed us. But his Mercy is in our new Every Morning Lamentations 3 22 through 23 Hallelujah to bring back into right standing as soon as we lay down that which is of the enemy of our holy Yahweh God. We need to take our Dominion back we are warriors of truth. Never silenced again out loud we hear a lie we cover it with truth when you can do no more but stand stand there for we hold the line with truth then if we by faith to love which none of us know much about anymore we cover a multitude of sin and push this back while the others come in. I heard an amazing report from Bakersfield, California, where meetings went on night after night, and people groaning and crying out to make things right with God, giving up drugs, and drug-dealing, so they couldn’t go on with the preaching. The, “Elijah anointing,” (Concerning the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ) is used “TWICE.”
The first time 2,000 years ago, when God sent John the Baptist, then AGAIN in this day.
At each, “Coming of the Lord,” there is an Elijah prophet who precedes that, “Coming.”
Jesus said concerning John the Baptist.

For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Elijah, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.
John, “Prepared the way for the Lord,” John did NOT “Restore anything,” as that which would need to be restored, (The full understanding of the whole Bible,) had not yet been given.
