Over the course of Christian history there have been times of revival when the Holy Spirit is powerfully manifested among the people of God. One of the most far-reaching revivals ever took place in 1904 in Wales. In this program you will see how the revival broke out and how it changed lives and impacted the entire society. Through use of contemporary letters, interviews and photographs, this program examines the 1904 Welsh Revival through the eyes and thoughts of the Revivalist himself, 26-year-old Evan Roberts. From his conversion at 13 to the outbreak of Revival in November, 1904, the story traces the steps in his spiritual development from the coal mine and blacksmith's shop to the grammar school at Newcastle Emlyn and the actual outbreak of Revival at his home church of Moriah Lougher.

Paul said, "Where sin abounds, grace abounds even more" which seems to be significant in the 1900s where we had a move towards Atheistic Darwinism culminating in two destructive world wars and the birth of atheistic Communism where literally millions would be killed or persecuted, but God who is rich in Mercy sends His Spirit down on simple men and women changing their lives forever.
Self Denial and removal of habitual struggles is key to becoming apart of YHVH’s Kingdom 38 minute mark.

@@juliephillips3374 Relieved :) btw, I love Wales historically. I sometimes recall the element that is hiatorially similar: the Welsh-nots. Polish kids were similarly denied their right to their mother tongue. It is good Welsh and Welsh identity are kept alive. Love in Christ from Poland 🇵🇱

This revival was 2 years before Azusa Street. He said it would go worldwide...I’m sure there were others, too.
Our Church is asking for this revival in this present time we are now on our 2nd month praying fervently to God to send. Oh may he quench the thirst of his people may the Lord of revival be visible in his Church amen.

It was suggested to me from a post from Dutch Sheets ,a minister in USA to look up the welsh revival because there is going to be a great awakening in America and Canada and we need to know some of the roots of revival came from the great welsh revival. This eye opening story has been wonderful to listen to and it has certainly warmed up my faith and hope for a better day.
It blesses me every time I watch this. Let the Spirit flow and I will follow.

Evan Roberts was used by the Spirit of God. Revival dose not come accidentally but it comes suddenly. With lot of prayer and urgency how Evan Robert was used by God.

You can't go to heaven without being filled with the Holy Spirit, but without being filled you will loose much on the way( Baptism of the Holy spirit)
1. Full and complete repentance for the sins of the past. Every sin you know of, confess honestly before God.
2. Is there anything doubtful in your life, away with it. (Self denial)
3. Complete obedience to the Holy Spirit.
4. A public and personal confession of Christ.

I am so blessed to have the best friend of god’s life for god’s words with you all who love god’s word and how we pray for God’s blessings and god’s love ❤️ the same way in different ways but still god’s work is not changed and we are being honest about what we are trying to do for god’s grace for the church that we love and respect for everyone who knows god’s love ❤️ doses not matter how you pray 🙏 and where you pray 🙏 god’s love for you will be blessed with god’s love of you all.
Revival stops because preachers revive the law! For the law is not of faith.
Grace is the key to revival as is the believing that the bible and each verse through the cross is for us today!
That is not the case. Revival is hindered because people do away with the law, & hinder the flow of the Holy Spirit, thus mankind gains momentum on sinnning. Sin is the transgression of the law. That means sin is the breaking of the law. The Law of God is Pure, Holy, Just, True, and still stands. Law is the Foundation to which Yeshua (Jesus) built His ministry. He came as a Jewish Rabbi who taught the Law of God, His Father and our Father. It is a misconception to say the law is evil or has been done away with. The Law is good. It shows us what is right and wrong. It guides us to do what is righteous before God. Yeshua restored that which was broken. Because of His love we desire to obey the Law of God and The Holy Spirit is with us to strengthen and empower us to keep the Law of God. The Grace is Salvation. The Law never intended to save only pointed to the Messiah, the Christ who was to come. The Law promised He would and that we were to listen to Him. Shalom B'Yeshua (Peace in Jesus). 😇🕊️🌹🔥✡️
I agree with you Marc once we’ve experienced Gods Grace we no longer need the rules so to speak for we have Christ within us and his leading but some preachers who need Grace themselves judge outwardly causing doubt and fear to enter thus stopping the growth of life in Christ within the genuine believer.
You are right, Marc. We do not understand the overwhelming magnitude of God’s sovereign grace. Nor do we understand the overwhelming magnitude of the Cross. God must open our eyes!

You are putting words into my mouth and saying things I didn't say.
I didn't say that the law is bad! I'm with Paul as he said that the law is good if used properly. How will the unsaved know what sin is without God's standard.
Grace came as Jesus but remember the people He was speaking to were not Christian but the unsaved He bought grace and showed grace but He bought the law up to its supreme standard to expose man's self righteous.
Yes God can use the law to bring in revival or bring it in with grace but He always prefers grace because the law is not of faith.
As Christians we are free from law and I will go with Paul on that one everytime.
I think you are getting confused with the law of Moses and the royal law of love as mentioned by James.
We don't have to keep the law of Moses because being in Christ we automatically keep it by being in Him but instead have these attributes love, joy, peace, gentleness, kindness and self control.
And where these abound there is no law!

I wonder if God talks this way to so many others, but they don’t listen. I feel a heaviness and a calling but it’s so vague what the calling is. Just a burden. It’s kind of consuming.
Maybe if you read this you might pray. That I can get rid of the heaviness. I’m not someone that God would use…and I’d like to not have this burden.
May God increase your burden. You are someone God can use. God can use anyone. May God Bend You. May you stop running away and blessedly yield to His Gracious Hand. What a privilege to be forged in His Hand ❤️

That is not your burden, it's God's burden. He wants you to intercede on behalf of The Church, but you have free will. Just know, the safest places to be in life is in the epicenter of His will.

He missed one great important point ignoring the Scripture that says without the Spirit we are none of his. You must have the Baptism of the Holy Ghost or Heaven will not be your eternal home. Mt.28.20, Acts. 2.38.

Using the word revival seems to just be missing a key point. The Kingdom of God was inaugurated when Jesus rose from the dead- and it has been rolling out across the World since then. It culminates with him returning and with the restoration of all things. If we believe that then we will also believe it can manifest itself or breakthrough into the place we find ourselves -at any point- at any time. (And not just when we somehow twist Gods arm to hear our prayers. Yes, of course we seek the move of the Spirit but mostly as we listen and respond on a daily basis... All that said we love it when the power of God is so visible as happened at times like this.
What happened to Evan Roberts? Why was his demise so fast? All the events of his disappearing to live with the Pen Lewis family, co authoring the book, war on the saints, and later distancing himself from it! There is enough evidence to suggest a fall from grace! Yes it was put down to exhaustion, but that doesn't really stand if God was in it! Today it would be far more useful to understand this than reminisce about the past.
