George Müller (1805-1898) was a German playboy who found Christ and then gave his life to serve Christ unreservedly. His mission was to rescue orphans from the wretched street life that enslaved so many children in England during the time of Charles Dickens and Oliver Twist. Müller did rescue, care for, feed, and educate such children by the thousands. The costs were enormous for such a great work. Yet, amazingly, he never asked anyone for money. Instead he prayed, and his children never missed a meal. This docu-drama presents his life story and shows how God answered prayer and met their needs. It is a story that raises foundational questions regarding faith and finances. Also included are two special documentaries on Müller and some of the lives affected by his work.

Becauae I have insomnia I have to listen to something that will grab my intention. I have listened to him for years. An example I want to live by.
Nearly 200 years ago George Muller helped protect and give hope to children who were treated as vermin. Today, children of all ages all over the world are being kidnapped, sold and trafficked for unspeakable acts. Watching this film as well as Sound of Freedom, let's us know with God's guidance, we can make a difference. Thank you for posting this wonderful story.

God is real and he still performs miracles. When my spine got fractured I spent seven and a half months unable to walk. I prayed to God and asked him to let Jesus heal me. Straightaway I felt heat inside my back for a few minutes, and then I stood and walked. I can still walk. Thank You God my Creator.

Miracles do happen! Joni Eareckson prayed at Bethesda, many prayed for her to be healed. She is still paralysed, which is sad. It is awful Ukraine etc etc. I struggle with this, why some and not others. It seems so unfair, God only knows why 😢😢

This was a man who repented of all his sins and when he accepted Jesus as his eternal salvation, his old self died and fell way, giving birth to a living Spirit within his whole being. His faith increased as he learned more of God's truth through reading and studying the Bible..He was the living example of growing in the "fruit of the Spirit" thank you for this upload. It strengthens my own resolve to continue seeking and living according to all the Spiritual Principles no matter how difficult it is to live in the world but not of the world.

I cried several times while watching this. I've never seen a story like this before, not outside the Bible, such a beautiful relationship with God, he trully trusted God and the Lord never disappointed him. Thank you so much for posting.

I've heard his name mentioned from John MacArthur or in the Questions and Answers Videos on here, with him and his other Pastor friends. Like Justin Peters and RC Sproul. They have referred to him on a few occasions and now I know why. I'm thinking he might have written a book. Years ago, I read a book about George Muller. I have not forgotten him. His faith made quite an impression on me.
Muller is a true example of what a called man of God was. Truly a follower of Christ and his love for mankind.

As I was watching this beautiful testimony I wondered if they have done a documentary about the decedent's of the children who benefited from George Muller's homes and love of God. I wonder how many children were also inspired by receiving these beautiful gifts from God through Muller.
If they don't have a documentary like that it would be wonderful if they could try to create one.

How blessed the movie and how blessed the man! The Lord commissioned me through a ministry in 1979 to go to Bristol with other believers and just like George Muller, and live by faith in order to preach and teach the Gospel. One of the first books that I was encouraged to read was 'Delighted in God' by the man of God himself. I also visited his fine strong buildings in Ashley Down. How inspiring. Even to this day I always look back to that special year in the Lord's presence, when even in the very midst of severe persecution, how the Lord in in inexplicable supernatural ways strengthened me that brought us both into such precious and endearing moments that I pray will never leave the memory of my heart. Thank you Lord for great inspirational believers such as George Muller and also Bristol's very own E. W. Bullinger whose work I also studied there, in the name of Yeshua HaMashiach Amen

Yes, indeed. I know quite a lot about Muller, there are no hidden scandals or even a bit of bad temper about him. The miracles were many and real. I consider that he's an excellent candidate for sainthood.
This documentary shows the things God can do with someone in which he has their whole heart. They achieve greatness in the kingdom of God. The part about where George decided to make his needs only known to God has set me on a new trajectory in my own life. Oh that I may truly give God my whole heart!

The ministers of the gospel of this era should take example of Muller's faith instead of coaxing people to donate for their missions!! They dont have the patience to wait on God!!

Jesus says, "It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God (Matthew 19:24, KJV)." Not everyone that says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but He that does the will of My Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Thy Name and have cast out devils? And in Thy Name done many wonderful works?' And then will I profess unto them, 'I never knew you: depart from Me, ye that work iniquity' (Matthew 7:21-23)."

Most ministers don’t do that, just some, and yes they’re totally wrong
A movie that speaks loud, God wants us to love Him and trust Him. HE PROMISED to never leave us or forsake us.
I've learned to pray for these people so they may realise and turn away from their errors. The discernment of Christians can also curb these things. It's good to support effective and accountable ministries. That's how I plan to proceed.

What a great man of Faith, Hope and Love but the greatest of these is Love!
The life of George Mueller epitomizes the adage, " When God guides, God provides." His legend lives on and his light still shines forth as a man who not only talked the talk but walked the walk. He tapped into the heart of God who spoke to him from Psalm 81:10: " Open your mouth and I will fill it." May his legacy inspire the hearts of those who seek to do God's will in their generation for the Bible declares in Ephesians 3:20: " Now to God who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power (of the Holy Spirit) that is at work within us to Him be the glory for ever and ever."
