The North Face Terra 65 Rucksack is the perfect backpack for hiking and exploration. It has a fantastic 65-litre capacity which is backed up with fantastic fit from the Opti-Fit suspension fit system which makes the rucksack comfortable to wear, even with heavy loads.

My left ear approves
😂
@tankwild Hi there, I can't comment on bag fitment as I guess it depends on the size of your sleeping bag unfortunately. But I take it you are from the U.S? The U.S version of the bag does not have a rain cover as standard. The UK version (which we tested above as we are a UK company) does have one as standard.
does include a rain cover? i bought mine it doesnt include rain cover on my Tierra 65 lemme know if it include on the packages thanks.
It includes the rain cover.
The one I got did not come with a rain cover, and there is no pocket behind the mesh one like he said.
@MrCodybankz Hi there, I think this has been answered below for you fortunately "The US version of this pack does not come with a rain cover. You have to get the RC65, or UK version to have it included."
We are a UK based company and thus our bag does have a raincover :)
i bought mine online from amazon and it did not come with a rain jacket or the little mesh area in the side pockets that would have contained it.
@Redbass100 - Hi there, if you are looking at the bag from the back its in the left side pocket. If its not there please contact our customer services team.
Hi there, Unfortunately we would not be able to advise on this. We have no knowledge of a North Face Madrone bag. Madrone bags tend to be made from canvas or tree fibres. We can confirm the North Face Terra is not made from Canvas or tree fibres. I'm sorry on this occasion we have been unable to advise further.
I just bought mine (I'm in US) and I've been scouring the whole bag looking for my rain cover! It rains almost every day in the UK so I guess they get the good stuff.
Can this pack folded into two thirds to make it as a carry on?
There is not a spot for my rain cover in my Terra 65 from northface lol. The mesh pocket is there bu I have looked and no rain pocket
@simplyhike oh ok.. thank u so much because the northface website did not have this info.
@n0d0ubt007 Hi there, medium fits torso lengths of 40.6cm - 48.25cm and large is suitable for torso lengths of 45.7cm - 53.3cm.
Very nice pack. Very similar to my Terra 50 but more features.
I would like to know if this backpack could be used to do the Via Francigena or Camino di Santiago: walking for 30 Km per day, and sleep in closed area (albergue). Thank for answers
Hello,
This would be okay, but we'd suggest you choose a more comfortable, breathable and light rucksack and would head towards a Gregory pack such as the Z 65. This is 1.5kg, has a Cross Flo system for cooling the back to prevent that sticky feeling. Gregory is all about fit and the Z range is very comfortable to wear.
As an alternative the Montane Grand Tour 55 is also a brilliant pack and good for long distances. Its lighter than the Gregory pack at 1.3kg as Montane are all about light weight kit.

Since this bag does not have a zip, is this safe? Someone who uses please tell.
Hi, I found some pics of this backpack and it seems that in the back at the bottom there is a hook. You don't show it in the video, what is it for? is is to unlock the rigid back to allow a proper cleaning of the bag?
Hello,
Do you know if a backpack with this size will be allowed as a cabin lugage
thanks
what size is the rain cover?
i just got my terra 65 just a few days ago, however i cannot find the rain cover. where exactly is it?
Someone help me pls!! whats the difference between a large one and a medium when it comes to torso length? I know that this backpack has an adjustable suspension system so whats the difference between a medium and a large one in torso length? help pls!!
After buying 1 of these, I noticed mine was extremely bent at the portion that touches ur back. this 1 in the video doesnt seem to be so. basically it had a shape of --> )
Is it supposed to be like this when empty or was mine just broken be4 i bought it?
are you able to remove the internal frame to wash this bag?
Would you recommend this pack in 2020?
Just got mine, hope it holds for a japan trip ...
@mrbanksy100 - this is the men's version
Definitely does not include rain cover in the newer models.

How?
How come the United Kingdom gets the rain tarp when The North Face is based out of America?
Id like to see what it looks like on your back please? maybe stuff some paper inside of it to make it look full
I just got this for $80 at Gander Mountain.
Its a misinformation! I got mine 3 weeks ago for $200.00 @ bass pro shop.
and I can't find the rain cover aswell on this one. how's that? why TNF selling different version of the bag? fake terra 65 that I got in bass pro shop? I think I need a lawyer on this one.
@Redbass100 lol i went to the store after seeing this video... looked like an idiot trying to find the rain cover. good thing i have a left over one
