The difference is noticeable, I went from a Ryzen 5 5600g (OC) and tried Ryzen 9 5900x, Ryzen 7 5800x3d and Ryzen 7 5700x3d...the one that has more sense is the Ryzen 7 5700x3d for gains. Some games use less 3d cache and improvements are not so noticeable. After Ryzen 9000 out and being a total disappointment is just common sense to pair your AM4 system to almost Zen 4 generation with a Ryzen 7 5700x3d or wait for the Ryzen 7 7600x3d and pay 250-280 for it. The upgrade is still very expensive while Zen 4-5 Motherboards are ultra priced...not worth it. Long live to AM4 best chip ever invented.

Oh my God! This is what I was looking for ^.^ I play Apex legends and I was wondering which Cpu is suitable to that game, and I had checked some benchs on UA-cam and what I found was there's not much difference between 5600x and 5700x3d in Apex legends, given that 5700x and 5700x3d bench had showed almost no difference in a video. so I was kind of sad thinking that maybe Apex is not a game affected by the 3d cache, although I eventually bought 5700x3d which is now currently being delivered ^ㅅ^. But in your video, I can find solid evidence that the 1% low and 0.1% low have huge gap in 1440p. Even though I am not sure why some other videos couldn't represent this difference and why those results are not consistent, at least I can find my hope about buying 5700x3d rather than 5600x. I feel like my decision is justified :) Thank you so much. (my gpu is 3070 so maybe I cannot get much difference like yours? and I am sad to 0.1% low of 5700x3d, compared to 5600x it intermittently shows lower 0.1% ... The good thing about this CPU is not just the FPS increase but the overhead it has, so the 5600x might be using 90% of it's performance while the 5700x3d is using 70% due to increase in cores/ threads.
