- Xbox is having its bud light moment. Alienating its entire customer base. The head of Xbox's Global Product Marketing is a woman by the name of Kelly Lombardi. She decided it would be a good idea to post a statement on X saying... "Raise your hand if you're not a white man and you buy video games."
But it's much bigger than Lombardi. Xbox has a culture of being anti-white and anti-male.

Yeah they talk about misogyny and racism... Back in the 90s, we were playing all sorts of games with all sorts of characters. I remember when some soccer games only had white characters and I would want them to have more choices and diversity, but it was real diversity that was needed, no agenda crap. As the tech started to evolve that started to happen organically as it should. We need indeed representation for sure, but it has to be organic, make great characters with great stories and everyone will love them for that.
I'm sure the Japanese at Sony's PS will love your business. When you hear the Japanese dev's speak about their games, it's all about the passion of their hard work and dedication. No time do you hear anything about race or gender lunacy.

I had been using Windows since their Windows 3.1.1 but switched to Linux Mint in 2015 when they first forced me into updating to Windows 10. Never look back since. Now I'm content with a Mac, since 2018. I also almost bought Series X months ago but decided to get PS5 instead. Good thing I have made the right choice. Windows has been bad and worse and worst since Mandela took over. Fuck mikocok.

Playstation is the same. Maybe a bit better but still on the overall quality and principles. Sony is WEF member. Playstation 5 is just another more powerful 4 Pro. Every PS5 exclusive is bad game despite the budget. And the R2 button does work properly. At least on my controller.

Modding feel like full time job. It's really time consuming. You end up spending more time modding the game than playing it. And the prices of powerful GPUs exceed those of modern consoles. Sometimes in times. PC isn't the solution.
It's funny how 4090 alone cost several Xbox Series S but giving only native 4k/60/Max quality. Nothing spectacular like native 8K/Dolby Vision/240/Global Ray Tracing/Max quality and even more for half the price. That would be the deal and still expensive considering the need for big screen top quality and special desk for all of this including audio, etc.
I own a Xbox One S, PS5 and recently bought a GamePC! Please get yourself a PC! I play all older gen games on consoles for free, and I can play Xbox and Playstation exclusives via Steam, and Xbox app.
Im currently playing RDR2 on 4K with 100 fps and I never felt better before.
I can play all games with my Xbox and PS5 controllers.

In my household we do not buy anything under the Tyson umbrella you'd have to boycott a lot more than just Xbox or Windows. We literally have a list of brands to avoid purchasing, we bring with us to to grocery store to avoid contributing to Tyson. However, boycotts on these companies is damn near impossible. All companies this large have diversified their finances with firms like Black rock.
It's like a monopoly hidden in plain sight using majority share ownership - it may also be similar to feudalism, when a very few owned everything. The ability to own everything gives them power to override the free market.

I have never had one game where I thought it represented me at all and enjoyed them all. Shooters are the most popular games, so if we put African Americans in them, then when you select the african american character, they should convert to the muslim religion and refuse to fight in the game, that would be black people represented in the game? They should give some of them Irish names, and ginger hair, and if you pick them you get a boost, because Irish americans make up 9% of the population but have 59% of medal of honours, so they should represent them in the game?

I encountered racist hiring policy at our local Canada Post Office. The job application says that even if you are the most qualified person for the job. Your application won't be considered if someone from another ethnicity applies. Silly me I always thought we were all treated as equals.

Yeah I fear there is kind of a conflict brewing over there too. Their western studios have obviously been infected - just look at Peter / MJ in Spider-Man 2. "Stellar Blade" on the other hand, coming from a japanese studio, doesn't have any of that crap. Looking at some recent developments in Insomniac / Spider-Man 2, I'm actually worried. The whole Parker/MJ relation there is absolutely fucked, stupid and ridiculous. Almost ruins an otherwise amazing game. I can only hope this won't start to creep into all their other games too. Definitely not gonna pre-order Wolverine; I will wait for reviews before I decide to buy or not.

Well, if I may give some encouragement, from what I know since I have a steam deck which is powered by linux, it seems that while it's still in its infancy, linux powered gaming is proving to be quite possible, and Steam/Valve along with the dedicated Linux community is paving the way for it.
With enough time and dedication, I believe that Linux will be able to easily rival Windows and become a place for computer users of all kinds, gamers included, especially all who are tired of Microsoft's antics and Windows' crap.

Xbox and Switch owner here. Cancelled my gamepass today before even seeing this video. Decided to finally dip my toe into PC gaming with a Steam Deck. There were two other Steam Deck clones/competitors to choose from, but Valve's runs on Linux and not Windows. Screw Microsoft, never paying them again. Especially after recent reports that THEY are forcing the studios they acquire to hire Sweet Baby and other DEI consultation firms. No wonder their games have been ass lately.
Even if you are on windows can use steam and avoid microsoft games all together. Linux is great for a portable machine tho.

Same here I specifically bought my Series X and have a PS3 just to play 360/PS3 era games and collect old discs. I dont think I could come to terms with this bs and buy any of their new games.

It’s really disturbing that the most important thing about people now a days is their skin color or gender.

My son showed me yesterday how microsoft wasn't going to allow women characters who were sexualized, large breasted, or curvy. And they are going to force under 10 percent of characters being white. He also got banned a week before, for saying 'that's gay' in a game chat. He showed me his capture card footage. He said a player skin was 'gay'. One week ban for hate speech for his profile and a full game voc ban on his steam profile. Somehow, I doubt this will apply to games that push certain diversity and inclusion standards, like GTA6.
Your son is doing good. You need to congratulate him, sell the console, keep a PC and maybe support Nintendo, the only company worth a damn. Also playing online on Nintendo consoles is very nice, no problems as those.

In the same conversation this took place, there are strings of considerably worse language, along with a kid dropping the hard R every other word. I checked on my account,the others talking trash in open lobby. No one else has been banned. The only thing he said was 'weapons skins are gay'.

you mean the Playstation brand that is owned by Sony and also promotes woke crap as well. Back then the OG Xbox was a more reliable system than the PS2 which were notorious for the dreaded disc read errors. With that said the PS2 had a great library of games but it was plagued with unreliable hardware.
*Edit* MIicrosoft did a 180 with that and almost killed the brand with the 360 due to the notirous RRoD. The only thing it had going for it was the games and then they decided to abandon the core gamer audience for the Kinect meme. Microsoft still has yet to this day fully recover from that decision.

I completely agree that we can only stop this nonsense with our wallets. I am a 51 year old hardcore gamer since the atari days and am disappointed with what is happening to the gaming industry lately. I bought the OG XBOX on day one release and have been a supporter and promoter of all things xbox since that day. I have spent way more on the xbox brand over the years than I care to admit! I even still have 3 original boxes and copies of battlefront 2 and halo2 that I still host Lan parties with. I will NEVER buy another xbox product from this point on. Well said Gabriel. I haven't bought a Xbox console since the Xbox 360. I did get a 2013 VCR Xbox One from a friend for free and the only games I get for it are from sales using points from bing rewards program. I would've probably bought a new xbox but they completely ditched their focus on backwards compatibility and with the new console being digital only and being a person with a sizeable physical xbox 360 collection I feel alienated and don't want to upgrade what I have. I already got a PC that can play modern AAA games but I don't touch those because they're unoptimized messes and instead of providing engaging stories they're destroyed by social engineering firms like sweet baby inc.
