I have one in 6.5CM and just had my 223 Wylde barrel and bolt head arrive. The warranty covers pretty much everything essentially, however if you wear your barrel out that won't be covered. Unless there was a defect or some sort of damage that occurred to your barrel, you'll need to buy a replacement. Replacement barrels are only $400 (not sure for you guysin Europe). On another note, 6.5PRC will need a different bolt head.
I also did not interpret the warrant as free replacement after you shoot out the barrel. However, Daniel Defense told me they will replace the first barrel on their bolt action rifle if you were to ever shoot it out. DD’s barrels are supposedly very hard and they told me they were able to get over 4,000 rounds of 6CM before loosing accuracy, compared to the typical 1,500-2,000 barrel life of that round. They are counting on very few people taking them up on the offer. As to the Seekins, they do guarantee if the rifle doesn’t meet your accuracy expectations that they will get it to shoot to your expectations or buy the rifle back from you. So far I’m very impressed with the 5 shot groups out of mine with factory ammo and it looks like it will be capable of 1/4” groups with hand loads. Seekins quoted me $400 for extra barrels in September of 2022 but they now show to be $580 and out of stock and bolt faces showing out of stock as well. I also don’t remember.223 being on of the calibers they offer on pre-fit barrels and I am interested in an extra in that caliber. Can you tell me where you bought you barrel and who made it so that I might be able to order one. And if you know of anyone that sells bolt faces besides Seekins, that would be appreciated as well. My only criticism of the rifle is that the cheekpiece is only adjustable in .200” increments and most ring heights don’t align to my natural point of aim cheek weld. 1” rings are too low and 1.1” are too high. I think the proper height for me is around 1.040 which means I would have to use the 1.250” rings and raise up one more notch or use a 30mm scope and some .840” high rings and go down two notches with the cheek piece. Please send me barrel info- Thanks
@@kerrymorris1892 looks like barrel prices have increased since my comment, that's unfortunate. My second barrel (and small bolt head) were ordered from Seekins through my work. It's their 18" 223 Wylde barrel. It looks like the bolt heads and barrels can be backordered currently. If you need a replacement barrel (due to shooting it out), you'll want to order one ahead of time so you aren't left waiting. I'll probably order another 6.5cm barrel later this year to be ahead of it. If you want a barrel from another manufacturer, Seekins will provide all the specs needed to have your barrel spun up. Seekins has had increased demand, and while they have increased production capacity, it hasn't kept up with the demand. You may have to wait a bit for something, because they aren't compromising quality to speed production up.
I did notice after my post that Seekins does offer the 223. I just didn’t remember since it originally wasn’t a caliber I was interested in. How long ago was it you ordered the barrel? I’m just curious when they raised their barrel price
Thanks. I did get an email saying I could back order one but sounds like it took you 5-6 months?? Certainly didn’t want to wait that long Maybe if it was still $180 cheaper. Woulda shoulda coulda.
Great video. Thanks for sharing. I just picked up a Havak Hit pro in 6.5PRC and not this really helped out a lot. Does this have an integral scope rail? or is it held in with screws?
magnetospeed has got to be one of the most illogical accessories ever made......strap a weight to your barrel without affecting harmonics...I think not
Outstanding review! I'm new to Seekins so this video was very helpful. Thank you!!
Great review. Thank you. I'm about convinced to snag one in 6 GT.
Gotta say its a very compelling platform for 2 grand
thanks for the look
It's always fun to find new Britist ways of saying things. Like "Screw-cut" to say it's threaded. Makes perfect sense, though.
Looks a nice bit of kit great video once again Chris 👍

The Paramount Tactical review of this rifle was pretty poor. Good to see a range of opinions.
.....the magazine insert/pull-back-down deal is funky.....??....

Great review. I like that rifle.
Great video. Seems like an amazing rifle. New subscriber
🥃👍🏾
Hi enjoyed another rifle on the wish list
Love that stock
The magazine pull gig is strange but looks like a great rifle otherwise.
It seems the mag issue is due to the polymer mag. I run a MDT steel mag without any issues and insert the mag all the way each time.
Quality rifle
What ammo did you use ?
The ammo is shown on screen
How does it compare to the ai at-x
get yourself a magnetospeed v3 cause that caldwell is awful
