It's just my opinion! these aren't mine, they are loaned to me for written articles and I'm totally independent to say what I like. My primary role and full-time job is to produce written reviews but UA-cam and social media is growing quickly so please follow me on Facebook, “Chris Parkin’s Shooting Sports”. Or Instagram “chrisparkin431” for regular updates on what I am using and what’s in for review? I do not organise special setups for smooth video; you get real world footage of my experiences with the products in question. This is MY OPINION, yours may differ. Mine is based on twelve years of published reviews for magazines in England, U.S. Europe and Scandinavia. I have no reason to say nice things about what I have invested or wasted my own income in, I just say it how I think it when I encounter it. If you like this channel and would like to help support the reviews via PayPal, please use... www.paypal.com/paypalme/chris... ...and contribute to a growing video channel with regular updates.

Thanks Chris, Really pleased you have reviewed this rifle, I was really considering the 6.5 creed as a range/hunting multi role set up. The only thing that is deterring me is the trigger.
a very luxurious and sturdy rifle🙏🙏
Cracking looking gun. Can’t wait for the full review. You will have to do a review on your unboxing knife Chris 😂😂.

I had my eyes on a sig cross for long time as a new rifle.. but then the had some problems ( which i believe are all sorted now). Was looking at mayby 6mm or 6.5mm creed and possibly a BDX scope.
But been looking at an AI ( was looking for a Mk111 multi calibre... but think they stopped making them?). Had been quite taken with the sig since i first saw it few years ago.
Good luck trying to find one of them chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor in the UK. Highland Outdoors haven't had them in stock for ages...
That's a shame
Patiently waiting for the extended review!!! Considering buying this but the reviews are all over the place it’s either 2 thumbs up or 2 thumbs down
Let us know how it shoots. I have one and mine is incredibly finicky with ammo. Found only one hunting load that shoots moa (a little better) and one match that shoots near 1/2 moa. Otherwise it shoots 1.25 to 2.75 moa with several different loads.
My 6.5 Cross is an easy 0.5 MOA with reloads. With not-so-great factory ammo it was only capable of about 1 MOA.
Did you say it was Multi-calibre???? Would be nice rifle if it is multi calibre.
What are your toughts on sightmark core hx scope?
Never seen one

It will be interesting to see if you detest operating this Sig as much as tge Fix by Q.
That's a very interesting comment as the two almost seem remarkably similar yet in terms of shooting character they are poles apart, the Sig has far better manners and although i never got the weather for a decent film opportunity, was enjoyable to shoot

I bought a 2.5-10x42 nf. I want to shoot 308. I have a 800m range locally and I want a rifle I can hike and hunt with in northern Canada. I am considering the fix, the cross, or perhaps building a rifle with the very ugly hnt26 (mdt). Would you have any suggestions?
Thank you for your time and your channels content.
Hi Chris, what sort of range will this see in 308?
It's a short barrel so will sacrifice a lot of speed, let's see what it's like when I get it on the bench with a chrono and trial some ammo
@@chrisparkin431 sounds good to me, keep up the good work, I’m looking for my first precision rifle, keep swaying with the tikka t3x tac but don’t like the sling mount location, I like these but as you say the barrel is short, I’ve seen that SIG do a precision version of this but cannot find them for sale in the uk, especially in 308
@@fuellifetv2934 a lot depends on what EXACTLY you want from a 'precision' rifle, the term is rather broad
@@chrisparkin431 I’d like something I can compete with in Uk precision rifle competitions
@@fuellifetv2934 look at the rifles being used, particularly barrel
Length and calibre, a short barrel 308 is not the way forward for competition
