This is probably one of the most wholesome comments sections I've ever read. This is why I love this community. I know from personal experience that people telling you that you don't need to be self-conscious isn't a cure-all, but hang in there, Dan.
I do kinda feel sorry for the AI though, that poor thing just lost its mind by the end.

@Thomas Johnston AI dungeon changes based on what's put in. The AI changes over time. So it makes sense it didn't come out with the same thing.

As someone who has played AI Dungeon and has studied how it works, the quick conversation deeply scared me, no, the AI can't google anything, yes he mentioned twitch chat but usually, AI dungeon doesn't remember things after a certain threshold, I have never seen the AI go that rogue, and it was amazing
How do you think that could've happened? I mean, the AI knew what RT was doing without any given knowledge about what was happening.... that's what scared me the most tbh

This is my favorite stream from RT because it's just so wholesome and everyone is just having a good time.

@@ballisticboo7808 he did mention it, but I'm commenting to reassure you that that's not at all how chat bots work. They can't just go and google things; OpenAI (the company that develops the AI that AIDungeon is based on) gave this bot, GPT3, like several hundred gigs of text from the internet to analyze. Essentially all it does with this is figure out what words in English are most likely to follow other words, and what sentences are most likely to follow others (there's a ton of more nuanced shit I don't understand but that's the gist). So while it most certainly has seen text that links RTGames and Twitch while it was being trained, it doesn't 'know' what any of these things mean and it certainly can't go seek out and synthesize relevant information from the web during a conversation.
