This figure is amazing but it really should be called the Bronze Age Joker since this is actually based on the Dennis O' Neil era Joker that was seen throughout the '70s. I can't remember who the artist was but the skinny look of this version is the one that started in the 70's. And if it was a true silver age joker it would looked more like a Dick Sprang artstyle which is the same artstyle as Batman: The Brave and the Bold.
I absolutely love Joker’s silver age design, it’s always what I picture in my head when I imagine the Joker. I wish we had even more recent representation of this design in toys, especially 6 inch (DC Icons was close but it had a trenchcoat and fedora :/ )
I personally like this Joker very much and it is so close to being perfect but there is just a few things holding it back. All Todd has to do is take the blue print from this figure change some things up and add a few more accessories. Plus he should have come with some alternate left hands
If I see you this in person I’ll definitely get this! I’d want to put this with the platinum comic penguin, super powers mr freeze, catwoman and classic riddler.
He's a great looking figure but he's way too short compared to other DC Multiverse figures. Joker is supposed to be 6' 5", so he should tower over most other characters.
Figures like this one are what makes this line frustrating at times. They can definitely give us a straight forward version. This Joker is darn near perfect.
I think he pairs really well with the blue and grey Knightfall Batman for that classic look. It is amazing just how wrong he looks with his shirt collar unbuttoned, or with darker colours, there's a pretty specific look to classic Joker in my mind.
It's certainly my favorite Joker that McFarlane has done thus far by a mile. Nice review of the figure! You covered all the bases. That said, my right gripping hand doesn't seem to fit onto the right wrist tightly. It actually kind of wants to fall out when I add the extra wait of his cane to the hand. Was this an issue with yours, or is this just a stand-alone problem on my particular figure, I wonder? I think adding a blob of glue to the wrist nub will probably make things work okay. Otherwise, I'm 100% satisfied with this figure.
looks amazing, I missed out on White Knight Joker (was to late I got interested in these figures) but it is one of my fave comicbooks but got the pegwarmer Curse of the white Knight 2 pack, batcycle and white Azrael
I actually saw this in person at my local GameStop. I was there ordering JLA Batman and Huntress. Wish I had enough money to buy Joker while there but I can just order him from GameStop later
also given your status as my go to headswap guy (except for dbz figures) hears an photo idea you would love joker sitting on chair near a fireplace with the bat family heads mounted on the wall. or better yet a omni king joker with a wall of mounted batman heads
I just ran into and bought the platinum! at my local Walmart that’s had the same toys since like Mid October, seriously didn’t even stock up for Christmas. I also found the platinum edition Digital Flash with the clear legs! But, I left him for another collector 🫡
Listen once you do in fact do a review of Collector's Edition 78 Superman figure plz compare him to soon Batman's like Hush, Three Jokers and Year Two to see if he finally scales well with them after so long on Batman being "Too Tall" next to Supes man😊
I was wondering is it possible to do a crossover head swap video, whare you swap heads from like legends or whatever fits over to DC multiverse?? Would be epic , I've recently been customizing like that, mezco heads onto McFarlane DC multiverse, just wondering.... RIGAMAROLE DONE ✅✅
I have a special request. When you get the new 52 batglider Batman, can you compare and swap it with the Dick Grayson Batman, I'm not a fan of the Knightfall body for Dick, it still reads as Bruce Wayne but that smaller rebirth mold used for Bat glider Bats might be the better option. Thank you for your time.

Excellent point!
I agree.😊
Box art was Jose Luis Garcia Lopez, Bronze age legend.
@@barriolimbas omg Thank you, it was bothering me that I couldn’t remember this legend
i just imagined joker using that "Spider-man" gesture and on Harley Quinn
okay freak

Found this in a mall Gamestop for 23 bucks. Pretty dang good figure in all honesty.
Love the head swaps on your videos. This is my favorite mcfarlane joker.

Agreed! So close to perfect
You're completely right.

Yay! Thank you very much for the White Knight combination! I feels there´s some potential to be unlocked there

Agreed, great match for Knightfall
Honestly a really solid fig, doesnt really match the style/era with my collection but it still looks dope. Also 9:31 was def my favorite headswap.
I can’t not see Quentin Tarantino in that Arkham Asylum head swap Joker. Great review.
And now you got me seeing it lol
I got him for Christmas and im so happy to have him in my joker collection he is awesome they don't have a lot of action figures of this version
I can’t wait to get this and hopefully the platinum of this too
7:50 - The Mortal Combat head on the Silver Age body looks like one of the Gentlemen from "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," but with hair.
I can see it!
Love the video. I was wondering if the eyebrows on the figure are just painted on or sculpted on?
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. They are sculpted
Excellent video!
Thanks a bunch!

Thanks Jason❤, as always super detailed review!

Amazon Canada just put up a pre-order for a 12" scale McFarlane Joker statue in PVC.
Those were probably the greatest and most entertaining head swaps ever.😄
Thanks! I really enjoyed this one
For the white knight head swaps I REALLY want to see what the "non joker" head looks like on the killing joke body
Damn that head would put a smile on my face
The death of the family head on this new Joker looks pretty cool
It really does! I need to bust him out more often
I actually saw this in person at my local GameStop. I was there ordering JLA Batman and Huntress. Wish I had enough money to buy Joker while there but I can just order him from GameStop later
Hope you can get him! So far GameStop is the only place I have seen him
@ Thanks man : D
Bloody hands...2010's Neal Adams Joker.
FINALLY!🎉❤
Hope it lived up to the wait!

THAT would be fun!
@@5POAFigureReviews oh I hope so I don't have the collection to pull off such a feat but you sure have the skills and figures needed
These digital releases are kinda good.....

Don't worry buddy, I got you
Great video. Love this figure. If you ever want to know more about the Digital figures let me know.
Thanks buddy
I saw the figure at Game Stop but put it back down since I already have 4 McFarlane Jokers. Now I'm 2nd guessing that choice.
I think this one is my go-to moving forward

It's an interesting idea. Would take a bit to find which heads will scale, but could def be a worthwhile effort
