@1:50 I completely agree. Why does Green Lantern hardly ever come with an actual green lantern?? What is the purpose of the jetpack? He can already fly!! Does the jetpack make him go faster?? Why doesn't he just decide to fly faster? So I got myself a little toy lantern from a hobby shop and painted it metallic green. Then I cracked open the figure and saw that he didn't have a gripping hand. I realized I was thinking of my old Mattel SuperFriends Green Lantern from about 8 years ago. He's the one with an open hand. (He didn't come with a green lantern either) Thanks MacFarlane! You blew it again!
I just found this figure loose and loved the paint job- I didn’t even know it existed. The only figures I have are Mcfarlane’s Justice League movie figures and the metallic sheen makes him look so good with them.
You know what we really need? MAFEX sculpts + McF affordability / availability. I have quibbles about the MAFEX I've collected, but never do they make me want to kitbash or break out my airbrush.
I actually swapped out the head with the silver age digital Hal Jordan. Just painted the mask a metallic green and it looks awesome. The skin tones match and it's definetly my favorite Hal Jordan head sculpt to date.
I was never not going to get this figure. I missed out on that 2PK and every other Jordan has not been a "base" one unless you count first appearance, but you know. Extremely happy with finally being able to move my first release John to my Lanterns shelf and putting this Hal in my JL linup. The OG seven are here babay!
Brad, from one Life long DC Lover to another, I have to tell you, if you haven’t picked up the Popmart Kingdom Come Superman and Shazam then do yourself a favor. Trust me they’re a little pricey but my God are they worth it. Never really cared for the Kingdom Come superman, but I can’t stress enough how absolutely amazing the Popmart Superman is. But it’s Captain Marvel for me that absolutely takes the cake. I have been on the look out for a quintessential Captain Marvel for my collection for a while and this figure takes not just the cake but the whole damn bakery. If I never buy another Captain Marvel as long as I live I’ll be ok with that, because there just won’t be another as good as the one made by Popmart. I sincerely hope they make more DC Figures because both of these are amazing. Hope to see you review them someday. By the way, you ever watched a channel for years and realize you’re not subscribed to them?Been watching you for quite a long time, thought I’ve been subscribed all this time but apparently not. But I am now.
The dawn breaker 2 pack hal jordan was bad at holding up the boxing glove I'm curious because if it fixed the problem beca8se the body bucks all vary in tightness Overall it looks great but I'm tired of that belly
I saw this in Target last week and I have this Green Lantern figure I felt like I had to get it I’m pretty much on my way of making a version of the Justice League I have a Superman and Flash version from Dark Knights metal of one facing Devastator Batman and other facing Red Death Batman I’m gonna get myself a better version of both Superman and Flash soon
Green Lantern is my favorite character. That being said I´m not interested in this version. If anything I´d get it eventually. The reason? It´s basically the same as the one that came in the 2 pack. The new head is great but that´s it. The new metallic finish reminds of the New 52 version and I already have the one from DC Collectibles.
I really like the metallic green, but it doesn't fit with the other Lanterns. It would be a good Hal for a Justice League display, though.
If only they would make the other lanterns with the metallic green

No kidding! And not just head sculpts. Things like body proportions too.
McFarlane was never good at drawing heads though. He gave everyone huge manga eyes and weird button noses.

I picked up two of these to put the Aben Sur and Tomar Ray heads on. They paint on these is magnificent.

I did the same thing with the arkkkis head on the 2 pack body. It's 100 times better and helps give the overall corps some size difference.

Mcfarlane needs to do a movie sinister version of mark strong sculpt for his line of green lanterns. It's a no brainer
McFarlane Toys is good, but it can be better.
