    I’m soooooo proud of the young lady that graduated. She took full advantage of that scholarship. I was wondering if she graduated. Yes sis!!! A degree in accounting, she will be able to send her kids wherever they want to go, I hope she pays it forward.

    God bless that principal, Diane Sawyer and those who contributed to the plight of that school. Above all, to Drake who among many rappers prove that rap music is not all about negativity. Many rappers give back to their communities. Much success to all those students who strive to educate and better themselves.

    College deposit fees are unnecessary. The fact that it took an opportunity away from someone because they cannot afford to pay is insane. 😔

    • @timbrown5576
      @timbrown5576 2 роки тому +3

      I understand the deposit fees because each college has thousands of applicants for only a few spots and the deposit is the only way to ensure that spot.

      @Chris Nguyen The most shallow, narrow-minded, and undereducated comment Ever.."African" peoples can come in literally 100 shapes, sizes, weights, and body structures, and alot is determined by genes, diet, and region they live..various eastern, some northern and some central African countries the people are rail thin, and it still varies across the entire continent..tragically, in "America" where they put "growth hormones" in massive amounts of food, especially food that is supplied to public schools, this is what causes accelerated growth, or even obesity in some that engage in no physical activities, hence why you CAN SEE AN OVERGROWN/OR OVERWEIGHT "ASIAN" CHILD, HISPANIC CHILD, EUROPEAN CHILD ETC, because they are All ingesting what is comprising and affecting their natural structure or normal growth rate.

    It was so hard not to cry while watching this. I have never seen schools this bad in England but I am extremely happy for all the students that were able to feel noticed. I wish them happiness and success in life! Honestly I wish I knew about the donations beforehand. In the UK we don't have to worry so much about paying for university since there is always student loans or alternatives to university like apprenticeships which still results in a degree.

    The part that makes me sad at 3:32 she said she would go to PhilaU (Philadelphia University) I was just finishing my Freshman year there. The campus is small but that just means we have more reason to interact but I never met her I was in a 5 year program that took me a little longer than it should to graduate (I'm not very academic and history and technical math are hard) so instead of graduating when she did like I was supposed to I graduated after her.
