Once again Matt you did it again. Love the lesson, love the Bible teaching, and the shout out to all mothers. I’ve been doing well so far with your videos but still struggling with the hammer-ons. Seems so easy when I see it done, but feels tricky. Keep up the great work, God bless.

Think of a hammer on as an emphasis- to create a high and low - they call it they say a call and response- like an answer to a question- it’s just for you know where you are also - not to sound boring - or you can use to close something that repeats - - or to end it -
or start it -like your voice rises and lowers -like a different tone and a high tone - hammer on does that - creates a tone - so aaaaaahhhh (open string) - hummmm ( hammer on) Jimi Hendrix was good at it -

Thanks for your tutorials Matt. Could you suggest a Bible reading plan for a 16 year old new believer? Thanks and God bless you, Joel.

Sounds good. Did I miss the bridge, " there's power that can break off every chain "

In the tutorial by Josh Baldwin, he doesn't use a capo. I'm new to playing so I'm curious why you use one. Great video!

I just did it to make it easier for me to sing..all the capo first is change the key to the song.. you can do it either way

@@acousticselection Ah ok!! I wasn't trying to be a jerk. Like I said, I'm new to playing so I really didn't know the purpose. Thank you!!
