    Please may I say it? Not everyone has a wood burning tool! 😂🤣😂🤣
    Seriously though. That was so inspiring. I mean you can just use a sharpie, and the wood is soft enough you barely need a drill. Such pretty pieces. I’m glad you showed people wearing it too. Thanks for the video!

    can I use soldering iron instead of wood burner?
    Will it work the same?

    • @MattsCrazyArt
      @MattsCrazyArt  4 роки тому +2

      Woodburner is a soldering iron so yes. But it doesn't have the same tip so it might be harder to make smooth lines.

    Excellent video! Like another commentor stated--to the point! If I can ask, where did you get the wood shapes from? I purchased some from HL which are great, but I love the number and larger variety of sizes that you show. Tia

    I purchased a wood burner today. I feel as if it doesn't get smooth lines like yours. What tip are you using? I'm using the pointed. Should I use a different one for outlining and shading

    • @MattsCrazyArt
      @MattsCrazyArt  5 років тому +6

      I only use the chisel tip that it usually comes attached with. It looks like a triangle wedge.
      You have to learn the angles that work best and how much pressure. I might need to do a video on the specific angles and pressure and how to make it work.
      Remember, the videos are sped up to 3, 5 or even 7 times the speed in real life so often I'm going much slower. Also, I've been using woodburners for over 15 years. It can be frustrating in the beginning.

    Do you know of a sealant or something that can make them a bit shiny?

    • @MattsCrazyArt
      @MattsCrazyArt  5 років тому +3

      If you use only acrylic paint, you can seal them in any clear spray or wood wax from the hardware store.
      Anything from clear spray paint for $5 to polyurethane spray for $7 or feeder wax for $8.
      With the sprays, you want to dangle them from the holes and spritz both sides then let it dry for a day.
      Some waxes you can just rub on and it's not as shiney but protective and it dries in like 4 hrs.
