- Small wood pieces are wood burned with decorative patterns and painted to resemble small stained glass pieces that are then made into beautiful earrings. In this tutorial you will be shown the simple ways for just a few dollars you can have all the supplies to make your own stained glass looking wood earrings.

Please may I say it? Not everyone has a wood burning tool! 😂🤣😂🤣
Seriously though. That was so inspiring. I mean you can just use a sharpie, and the wood is soft enough you barely need a drill. Such pretty pieces. I’m glad you showed people wearing it too. Thanks for the video!
Wow... awesome...
Be safe family of Mother Earth. You go
Great video thank you for sharing xxxxxx
I could watch more of the painting part.
What is that tool he is using to burn the wood called please. The work is beautifully stunning 😍
Of course it helps if your talented...
Oh love earrings. Can you use that puff paint. Sorry that may not be what it's called. I can't paint.. what size paint brush ?
Whatever size is comfortable. I get a value pack of different sizes and try out what works.
, Amazing
SO Very Cool!😼
So if I'm correct...guitar,drums,piano,jewelrydesigner/maker, wood work, vases and stuff, business owner, motivator, artist, and vlogger. What else? 😁😄
I can make good omelettes sometimes
@@MattsCrazyArt well...we have at least a few things in common😅
can I use soldering iron instead of wood burner?
Will it work the same?
Woodburner is a soldering iron so yes. But it doesn't have the same tip so it might be harder to make smooth lines.
Excellent video! Like another commentor stated--to the point! If I can ask, where did you get the wood shapes from? I purchased some from HL which are great, but I love the number and larger variety of sizes that you show. Tia
Michael's Arts and Crafts. Might be able to order some online from them.
@@MattsCrazyArt Thanks for the quick reply! I Googled the brand, and saw that it was sold at Michaels. I've order them, and will pick them up later today! Thanks for the inspiration. I'm adding this medium (wood burning) to my jewelry making repertoire! LOL Thanks again!!!!
@@CyberTrainer you should probably watch this one too, then, if you haven't yet ua-cam.com/video/srk6OWzhtmU/v-deo.html
I purchased a wood burner today. I feel as if it doesn't get smooth lines like yours. What tip are you using? I'm using the pointed. Should I use a different one for outlining and shading
I only use the chisel tip that it usually comes attached with. It looks like a triangle wedge.
You have to learn the angles that work best and how much pressure. I might need to do a video on the specific angles and pressure and how to make it work.
Remember, the videos are sped up to 3, 5 or even 7 times the speed in real life so often I'm going much slower. Also, I've been using woodburners for over 15 years. It can be frustrating in the beginning.
Black girls crafting! I got one too. Love this video. Fast and to the point!
Brenesha, here is a more informative video on using the wood burner

Do you know of a sealant or something that can make them a bit shiny?
If you use only acrylic paint, you can seal them in any clear spray or wood wax from the hardware store.
Anything from clear spray paint for $5 to polyurethane spray for $7 or feeder wax for $8.
With the sprays, you want to dangle them from the holes and spritz both sides then let it dry for a day.
Some waxes you can just rub on and it's not as shiney but protective and it dries in like 4 hrs.
Thank you, you've been so helpful
Great idea! Wish I could draw. What to do if I can’t draw?
You can trace artwork that you like and change it to make it yours.
What kind of paint did u use😊
Simple acrylic, walmart or art store.
@@MattsCrazyArt Thanks😊those earrings r awsome😃by the way I just subcribed😁luv ur work
Where can I purchase the wood burner? Craft store or hardware store?
Craft store, not hardware store
The one in the video was $16. They come as cheap as $10
Thank you for your help!!!!
What's a good price to sell these for? Thank you in advance
Do you have to put something on top keep the paint? )like schellac or anthing)
Not usually but a clear coat of shellack or polyurethane will keep the paint from fading
Okay, I have seen this one...
There is always hand sanding. Get creative the native Americans used sharp rocks to make tools for everything. Love it! =)
Do you seal with anything??
Yes, either a wood wax or clear oil based spray.
How would you make them glossy?
Spray lacquer
😮🙀😻😻😻
Soooo... $30? That's a little better...
Maybe $25 if you buy only a few tiny tubes of really cheap paint.
Not bad...
The fact is - everybody has a bum and everybody has an excuse and they usually both stink!
Turned off the volume. Drums are a bit annoying. Sounds like cats on a trash can. The art work is good.
It was cats on a trash can
What's a good price to sell these for? Thank you in advance
