Absolutely impressed with the incredible level of detail you achieved, especially without airbrushing! 👏🔧
Thank you ❤️
This will be a good tutorial for the people who started building gunpla and wants to do some customizing. Cheers!
This is the best Barbatos I've seen. So many are super clean and pristine, but the weathering done to this one conveys so much intensity. Really well done.
That looks awesome dude no airbrush at all wow.
I freaking LOVE Barbatos. He is my absolute favorite Gundam design, and the MG was actually my first model kit (although my profile is actually my second one because the first one was more of a failure than anything else) I truly love model kits, and I wish I could achieve something like this. In another sense, amazing job!
The Barbatos MG was also the first model kit for me, I love it but my favorite MG is another ...😊
the oil coming out felt like a real epiphany, of course oil washes would work for gunpla! fantastic job ❤️
I cant believe how many hours you put in into this build...amazing work bro👍
I couldnt dream of doing something half this amazing. Love it dude.
Thank you 😊
One of the best Barbatos builds for sure! That dry brush you did with the steel on the frame looks so good. Thank you for sharing!
Amazing! So beautiful!
So inspirational! I just got into this hobby and I am new to model kits in general. Just finished an HG kit, now moving onto another HG kit and then just bought this exact kit. Mine will come no where near what you have done but very excited to start.
I'm also new and bought this exact kit, there's a chance to get a resin conversion kit (basically another armor kit aside from the stock one) to paint, which ill try to buy to do my first custom. Might be worth looking into if you're looking to paint!
Wow.. It look awesome.. Good job bro.. 👍
I would absolutely watch a long format version of this. Maybe a 1 hour version :)
oh. My. Goodness. i need to know your messy paint cleanups. this looks AMAZING
This is phenomenal, great work
Thank you😉
Awesome👍👍👍👍👍 Thanks for sharing.
Wow, beautiful, beautiful, perfect, really awesome.
If I'm going to go the distance with photo etch detail....I might as well go with waterslide decals. Looks good to be brush painted.
God gave this guy talent 😮 not even me can make this look good
This was awesome! I have never done a custom build, the thought of doing one give me terrible anxiety. I don't know if I could ever pull off something like this
very nice end product; i'm also getting back into model making and Gundam models currently have my interest; now, that i have the means - i went all in to also include airbrushing
New subscriber here, thanks for sharing this, truly amazing work!
I like this enthusiasm, thank you very much 😁
Most impressive. Subbed.
Amazing!
That looks freaking amazing man! Ooo you got me wanting to try something like this. I’ll probably mess up a few HG kits before it’s looks half as good as your MG custom.
Thank you 😁
Fantastic video end result is amazing. I am getting back into model making after a 25 year break, currently not having setup for airbrush, your techniques are a perfect way of having good results with just a brush and a bit of imagination. Quick question, regarding the Tamiya panel line accent you use, back in the day these were not availavble and I used to water down Tamiya paints of the time, how do you find these compare to watered down paint, thanks.
Nice work🎉🎉🎉🎉
非常粗暴洗漬技術,犀利!👍🏻
that looks awesome compare to mine yours looks awesome
😍😍真的厲害
Simplemente hermoso
Holy shit dude, this is impressive
Great work bro hope one day I'll get as good as you😌🔥
Thanks, but I'm a beginner too
@@CaimArt all good....I learnt a lot from your video... Thanks so much🔥😄
Awesome custom! Did you panel line the entire kit? Or just the fin?
Cool broo
amazing.
This looks fantastic. I am confused why you kept the stickers instead of using water slides seeing how the boarders are very visible.
Looks really good! Could you tell me how do you wipe out the excess liquid chrome? Thank you
Alcool 😉
👍👍👍👍AWESOME BUILD DUDE FROM YOUR NEWEST SUBSCRIBER 👍👍👍👍
Thank you 😊
You painted some parts with Acryllic Paint, and after pannel lining you cleaned with Enamel Thinner. Shouldn't the thinner reactivate the acryllic paint?
Great video btw.
Thanks, If you use it very light, the acrylic paint does not come off. Basically, if the color is dry and you don't push hard, there are no problems.
where did you get that metal parts?
This music got me hyped to basejump off a glacier, but I live in Australia. Where am I supposed to invest this energy?
6:21 i never thought of using oil paints like that
Is that acrylic silver “ dry brush “ on the chest?
1:04 Holy crap... it's Uncle Jack from It's Always Sunny.
Those shoulder parts look much smaller in my hands... and I don't have large hands.
🤣
👌👌👌💯💯💯💯 do next Gundam unicorn ?
Fantastic work. Did you apply a top coat before the gunk wash?
Thanks, no 😁
nice vid! just want to ask what did you used for attaching the metal etched on the plastic? is the tamiya cement good alternative too?
Thanks, Industrial glue b-700, but a dedicated glue for metal details is better. Mig-2031 glue is a good choice 😉
@@CaimArt ohh i see... thanks for the advice :D keep it up!
i was looking for what im gonna do with my barbatos and came across this video, looks soo cool!! thats amazing! btw can i ask, when you applied that black paint and wipe it out, did you use any thinner or paint remover? or you just wipe it out with cloth? i need your advicee thannk youuu so much!
@@aleriszky1461 hello and thank you, it's oil paint and it comes off with a little White Spirit
@@CaimArt aah thank you so much again! that helps!
I think u need water decal to have the better look than sticker
I think so too, I'll try it in the next project 😉
So it’s actually possible to customize Gunplas with no airbrush😍
Where did u get those extras metallic pieces for the Barbatos?
eBay or AliExpress
Great work, may I know what kind of glue is B-7000 on 2:08?
Simple industrial glue, but there are better products for this type of work
Im new to teh hobby - what is that white block? that you buffed teh part with after marking it
Sand sponge
Maaaan, make his war stand
Did you paint the chest and dry brush silver or did you dry brush right on the blue plastic and if you did paint it what is that blue?
Simply the blue plastic 😁
@@CaimArt and silver dry brush?
@@amcastro8599 lacquer paint
4:39 4:35 how did you achieve the brushed/scratched metal look here? I'm in the process of doing my first custom gunpla and have been trying to find an learn new techniques
Dry Brush technique
Very nice. Can you tell where you bought that metal decal?
Aliexpress or ebay😉
@@CaimArt what brand is that? i just cant find it anywhere.
What's that sponge thingy at the start and how does it become mat finished?
fine grain sandsponge
Where can I find some gundam
When you painted parts with titan gold, did you add any thinner or just straight out painting the parts?
a little thinner
@@CaimArt ah yes I thought so, last time I used a bit without thinner, not so good, definitely add a little thinner next time
Did you do a clear coat? And if so do u use matte or semi gloss
Satin Varnish
I would pay for this
Love your work bro. Can u share with me what is the black thingy that u spread all over the part and then wipe it..i want to do like that..heheh can u share
Simple black oil paint😉
@@CaimArt i see thank youu bro hehe..any brand of oil paint is okay? Hehe
@@acapziera Yep!
A good work mate, one question, before you start to make the weathering with the oil black paint, you put some coat on it?
Thank you, no the top coat was only put on at the end 😊
What is that sponge you use at the beginning?
Fine Sand sponge
Funny
at minute 4:14 did you immediately paint it with metallic silver and no base black color?
I'll make my barbatos exactly like yours haha hope it's answered🤗
Yes, don't need a base color for this effect😉
làm cũ đi nhìn chiến thực sự
You from indonesia?
Hi,may I know what is the brand of the colour in 6.17? Please🥺
Hi, It's a generic oil paint, you don't need a specific brand for this job (I don't remember the brand name😅)
@@CaimArt ouhhhh it was a oil paint hahaha!okok thank you very much!🤣
Armour chipping , battle damage no air brush , I approve , better the the other wanna be’s that do gunpla videos
Great work.
But this is really strange:an italian youtuber, phyton coffee, used THE SAME (wonderful) MUSIC you used at the end of the video for a review of the mg barbatos about one year ago.
Dude, you are a great detective! I heard that song for the first time in that video 😂
@@CaimArt really?
Lol,funny fact :-)
I honestly would love to have ANYBODY teach me how to properly paint my gunpla at this point I tried ONCE on a 1/144 scale Barbatos I got but I only managed to make it look like an Italian version of the Gundam due to the Warhammer paints I still retained from working at a figurine shop. It was my 2nd time ever hand painting a figure from scratch so it only turned out Okay fair..nothing even remotely W0W level...I was happy but not ecstatic with the outcome to be honest..I still have a my 00 diver which isn't even assembled yet for the sole reason I wanted to paint it Black with neon violet or gold accents but simply lack the skill to do so..
Bè io sono italiano quindi il tuo gunpla versione italiana sarà sicuramente bellissimo 😁,I learned through UA-cam tutorials, all it takes is a little practice and you can get excellent results!
@@CaimArt I'll be honest it wasn't intentional that the Barb. turned out looking like a Gundam Italian Flag to be frank, It's just the only paints I had lefts were White, Green, and Red, I Used the silver and gold gundam markers to color the crest, and internal joints to make them PoP and make the Green and Red stand out more against the Black spacing and white armor. Thus the result. I also used the silver marker as trim on the mace, and gun with the gold on the scope. I used Red on the big crystals and green on the tiny ones to add better symmetry to the design than I ran out of red and had to finish up with varying shades of green and white mixed for shadowing which felt a bit off but still worked... I give it a 6.8/10 at most.. I've seen what an 20/10 looks like and I'm nowhere near that level.
Sooo.............will you make more videos?
Please 🥺🥺
I'm working on it 😉
HELLO
why would you go to the trouble of making such a beautiful kit with incredible paint skill only to put stickers on it and not water slides ?
It was intended to be a video for beginners and those who wanted to start customizing model kits, so I tried to use easy techniques. I think water decals are too complicated for beginners to apply 🙂
@@CaimArt I see honestly they seem intimidating at first but I did them with the first ever kit I built the trick is rounded tweezers to hold the decal and a tooth pick to slide it onto whatever surface dip the decal in lukewarm water for 3 seconds wait a couple more then slide into place lightly dab and then slap some tamiya mark fit strong my first kit came out great and I used g-rework water decals which are beautiful but notorious for ripping the main problem is people soak them in the water too long but that's awesome your showing these skills you are really talented may I ask what that black goo that you put on and then wiped off was?
@@joshuawiseman5629 Oil Paint 🙂
@@CaimArt may I ask what it does was it to make it look grungy? what's the technique I've never heard of oil paint or it being used on kits...sorry im trying to learn painting my kits and theres so much to it its intimidating
@@joshuawiseman5629 It is a technique that is rarely used because the drying time of oil paints is very long, do as in the video and the effect will come out on its own. 😉
별론데?
Nice brooo
