The asmr and speed build combination is a big step to evolution.
just info for those who don't know, the wheels on the chest of MG barbatos can be rotated, not rigid, that is the advantage of MG barbatos compared to other ibo series
I appreciate going with brown panel liner instead of the typical black or gray. it makes sense because the suit mostly took battles in mars and not perfectly maintained with a bit of rust.

Watching this video reminded me of my first model kit, Victory Gundam, that my mother bought for me back in the early 1990s. It took me almost one week to finish it because I decided to disconnect ALL the pieces from there mounts without even looking at the instructions.
After seeing how awesome this build was I have high hopes for more iron blooded orphans Gundam model kits.

HOLY CRAP BRO I JUST ORDERED THIS BARBATOS KIT AND IT MY FIRST GUNDAM KIT WILL I BE OKAY!?!?
I don't recommend it for beginners but just follow the instructions and built the frame first. The manual will constantly remind of properly where to put stuff the correct way.
Or generally MG kits aren't really for beginners.
That feeling when you gotta take it all apart to fit a piece you forgot.
I'm always afraid of that. I might break a piece while disassembling.
The Ræl Dingø happened to me and I had to legit pry open the entire leg to put that one tiny piece I forgot 😔

Someone truly needs to develop and market metallic panel line markers. All that glorious detail of the frame is lost without the ability to contrast those lines. I have used a silver gundam marker on my Sazabi Ver. Ka, but it required tons more effort to look good than I feel many casual builders want to invest.

The one that kept holding me back from buying this are how delicate the sticker in the eyes
You can choose to not apply the sticker, it already has a clear green plastic. Eye stickers in newer MGs arent mandatory to complete and out of box look. I suggest you to buy it, one of the best kit

@@over3553 while the barbatos is on the tall side, as compared to wing or g kits, I don’t think the rg would be that big. It’s only a little bit taller than the mg ooq and the rg ooq only goes up to the rg nu’s cockpit hatch. As for a 2.0, what for? This kits nails it in all aspects already. I can’t see any reason why there would be a need for a 2.0.
