+AlexLarson7 "Immortality" does not mean that you can't die. It just means you will outlive everybody in a certain condition. For example, say you were immortal, then got hit by a truck, you will still die because of the injuries you sustained from the impact. just wanted to clear things up.

I think that's a fair assessment. Deadpool does think tactically but he's just nuts, and doesn't really care if he gets defeated because he'll always come back for more.
For real haha. I love Deadpool but he’s mentally unstable and gets distracted easily to the point he’ll lose to any skilled fighter that’s far beyond from him. And he doesn’t have the patients to do anything smart to them😭😭he’s nuts
Deathstroke may be smarter and more calculating than Deadpool, but he's never faced anyone like him. Deadpool is unpredictable and pretty much immortal. Wade is the kind of guy who would punch Slade in the face with a grenade while still holding it.
Slade in many of his comic book appearances possesses the god killer. A sword that can kill any immortal. With that, I think Slade has a far greater chance in beating Wade.
Not only the God Killer Swords, but he is just as if not more unpredictable than Deadpool himself. Batgirl stated that his movements are like a a choir - like many voices all at once, too fast, too loud. So Deadpool doesn't really have anything on him really.

And the dark knight has to outwit deathstroke to defeat him. Deathstroke fights with honor and a sole purpose to kill. He won't be stopped or take defeat for an answer. Deadpool's unpredictability isn't specified while Deathstroke is unpredictable in combat.

Yesss finally someone is making sens. Deathbattle came up with INSANE verdict by giving Deadpool the win. I mean in the analysis they literally said that:
- Deathstroke has superior strength to Deadpool
- Deathstroke is faster and more agile then Deadpool
- Deathstroke is smarter then Deadpool
- Deathstroke is a strategic genius unlike Deadpool
- Deathstroke has better armor then Deadpool
- Deathstroke has better weapons then Deadpool
- Deathstroke is a better fighter then Deadpool
- Deathstroke has more experience then Deadpool
- Deathstroke has more impressive feats then Deadpool
And then they say - Deadpool wins! Because... he has a better healing factor!

What you’re not factoring in is just how insane his healing factor is. He regrows limbs in a matter of days. Survived his head being cut off. Been blown to smashed into a puddle by the hulk but still regrew.

If Taskmaster struggles to make sense of Deadpool's attack patterns, wouldn't it be really hard for Deathstroke to make a plan around those?
Deathstroke's combat skills are in par with the Batman's. And the Batman has a very unpredictable fighting style. Slade is one of DC's best fighters. Plus his armor is made up of high concentrations of 10th metal which is tougher than vibranium. He has enhanced speed, strength, and agility. Deathstroke outclasses deadpool in number of skills. Not to mention he has beaten a speedster. He could use the God Killer sword to kill Deadpool (The sword has the ability to kill immortals). Besides, even if he can't kill deadpool, he would defeat him. Slade doesn't take defeat for an answer. He's really stubborn with a sole purpose to kill.

While I can understand the appeal of having these 2 fight since they are so similar, there's really no point. Wade's healing factor gives him an unfair advantage. I'd rather see Deadpool vs. Spawn.

Yeah but, I know it looks like Deathstroke would win but Deadpool can out task taskmaster in fighting due to his unpredictability. Plus his teleportation belt gives him an instant speed advantage over Deathstroke's strength advantage. And on durability, Deadpool can take all of his damage and give just as much. Even so if he did chop off his head, Dp could just grow it back.
Copying and strategizing are two completely different things and if he slices all his limbs off he could trap him before he could reattach them.

I've always been torn on this, because I was thinking more of a fight to the death, but since Deadpool can't die and it would be extremely difficult to kill Deathstroke, so I always figured it might be a draw, but you brought up some solid points, and I think you convinced me that Deathstroke wins, I love both characters so I'd be okay with either winning.
In my opinion, this is why battles to death in comics would be boring to talk about. So many characters cannot die that putting them up against anyone who can die provides no hope for an engaging battle. Not to mention the fact that most heroes do not kill anyway, so you would really have to write yourself into a corner for a scenario like that to come up.
Yeah especially when some Superheros like Hulk, Superman, Martian Manhunter, Spectre,Batmam with prep time etc. Are ridiculously powerful that it'd just be 10 minutes of them hitting each other and it having no effect, if we take 2 different characters from different comics I'd much rather it be more like Daredevil vs Bane or something

Only non-heroes/villains stand no chance in a fight, like Superman vs The Commissioner would have no story telling value because Superman would just trounce him 10 fights out of 10.

Wilson definitely has my vote hands down! Better in all categories! Plus he looks badass! Origin story is cool and interesting! Definitely ends the debate between both comics and their creators! Was kinda difficult to decide definitely but of course Wilson has my vote on this one. It’s hard to deny it. So all in all Wilson wins!

Deadpool wins. Deadpool is immortal, but Deathstroke is not. Deadpool will always come back, while if Deathstroke got his limbs cut off, they would not grow back. No matter how calculated Deathstroke is, it is not much use against Deadpool because he is unpredictable. You cannot calculate something that is unpredictable. For example, you will have a hard time predicting when the lighting will strike at you.
Slade is immortal.Since 1991 run s Nuclear Winter arc he can return back to life.Slade doesnt have to predict his enemy s movements.Wade s crrent swords are refered as "Old plain swords" who cant cut though any of his suits.Deadpool isnt immortal. Since his curse is taken away by Thanos if his head gets riped off and wade doesnt put it back for 9 mins Wade s brain wil rot beyond healing and die.
I am a very big fan of Deadpool (he has been a favorite of mine since I was a kid) and have actually never read any comics about Deathstroke. That said, the points made here are very good. Arris specifically said that Deadpool too frequently relies on his healing, which is true. He takes hits that are unnecessary.
Given the strategic nature of Deathstroke's fighting style, I could see him winning in a fight. Like Arris said, Deathstroke couldn't kill him, but that doesn't mean he couldn't take Deadpool in a scuffle. It also doesn't mean that he would win every time, just that the odds favor him.
I'm not a DC or Marvel fanboy (nor Image or Darkhorse or Valiant, etc) - I just love comics, and probably have since longer than some of you have been alive (I'm sure someone here could say the same to me). Based solely on the facts presented here, and even being biased toward 'Pool, Arris makes a very compelling argument, and it was fun to watch. Plus, it tells me that I need to pick up some Deathstroke comics - he sounds like great fun and I had no idea he'd been around for so long. I guess I just failed to notice him. My bad.
Let's just keep in mind that it isn't real life and not treat one another like garbage just because our opinions vary. Comics are fun,and you can absolutely disagree with someone and still be respectful. Or don't. The character of others doesn't affect mine.

This guy kinda has a point actually, in screw attack's death battle Deadpool was the winner because a character had to die and given his skills and his inability to die, he won. However Deathstroke is the better fighter and smarter tactician so he could beat Deadpool but not kill him. Honestly though it's too hard to call for me so I have no opinion

Deathstroke would win. Any true comic fan(DC or marvel)would know this. Only people who would disagree are the deadpool-jerking 13 year olds who jumped on the deadpool bandwagon when the movie was released. Deadpool has lost to many powerful metahumans on many occasions(e.g. Cap and Cable) In fact in the current marvel universe he hardly wins at all against other superheroes. Don't get me wrong I love the guy, but just because he's a good character doesn't mean he's strong. He would definitely win long term(if he and Deathstroke were to fight it out over and over again repeatedly) but a single fight? No comic book fan in their right mind would say deadpool.

It amazes me how negligent some of the comments I'm seeing about DS's skills are. The same points are being brought up such as his healing factors and immortality even though it's been stated you don't need to kill someone to win a battle. Personally I love DP but feel he's being slightly hyped up here because of his brand rather than comic book logic, Wolverine and Hulk have healing factors, they've lost battles but for some weird reason Deadpool is exempt even though they have similar healing traits albeit differing on a scale (yours to debate, not the point), yes they aren't immortal as well but as stated again you don't need to kill someone to win. Deadpool has lost fights against opponents weaker than DS. @Blade Cutter try to summarise with acute battle feats instead of making shit up, how does Deadpool not feel pain, yes the frequency of pain inflicted on him makes it seem quite minute to him, he's had many continuities of him that aren't all canon and in fact has had his immortality taken away from him atimes such as in Deadpool vs Thanos. Saying asspulls just to prioritise your favoured character winning doesn't help this debate whatsoever.
Finally someone who understands that Deathstroke is tactically better than Deadpool. I mean a random fight to the death would favor DP but any other fight leans toward DS. He's the better fighter & I would but my on him.

Screwattack used that Non-canon cabonadium sword for Deadpool. That's the only way he 'beat' Deathstroke.
Even though Deathstroke would've just cut off Deadpool's arm holding the sword, and used it against Wade.
It's not the only way to beat him.
