Miles Morales is such a dude! Was pretty skeptical at first because I loved Ultimate Spider-Man to bits, genuinely my favorite iteration of the character, and when I first heard about Miles, the costume looked cool but I was kind of worried it would stop there and the rest would just be squeezing the life out of a great series. I was wrong, he's such a great character because of how different he is from Peter Parker. And seriously... dat black and red suit tho...

He's ok but I have mixed feelings about mantle trading ect. His writers and Marvel have straight up copied Spiderman. He's had his own clone saga,his powers origin and even his own spiderverse saga!
That being said it's is usually a fun read because Spiderman is fun to read with the right writers
2099 is hands down my favorite alternate Spidey. Sure, he may not have the deepest, most interesting or well told story, but Miguel is an excellent and entertaining character

I like how a lot of these costumes became unlockable in the 2018 Spider-Man game. Most of them came with a specific ability, which you can use with any of the other suits.
My favorite come from the What If? Spider-man Vs Wolverine issue. Misleading title aside, Spider-man trains as an assassin and hones his abilities, spidey-sense basically becoming future sight and mind reading. That and the most badass Spider-man suit yet.

You should have including Spiderman's from the cartoon series of spider that begun in 1994, and ended in 1998, It was known and referred as "Spider-Man: The Animated Series". Its A cartoon series that The series focuses on Spider-Man and his alter ego Peter Parker during his college years at Empire State University. As the story begins, Peter has already gained his superpowers and is a part-time freelance photographer for the Daily Bugle. The show features most of Spider-Man's classic villains, including the Kingpin, the Green Goblin, the Lizard, the Shocker, Doctor Octopus, Mysterio, the Scorpion, Rhino, the Vulture, the Chameleon, and Venom. Over the course of the series the single Peter contends with the romantic love interests of Mary Jane Watson, Felicia Hardy and her alter ego, the Black Cat. The show also features appearances from various other Marvel superheroes; including the X-Men, the Fantastic Four, Iron Man, Daredevil, Blade, Doctor Strange, the Punisher and Captain America And many other more. The last two episode shows you 6 different other type of Spider-Man from different dimensions. It tells about when Spider-Man is taken to a dystopia where New York City has been demolished by the combined forces of the Hobgoblin and the Green Goblin, led by Spider-Carnage. The Beyonder tells Spider-Man he is to lead a group of Spider-Men from different dimensions to stop Spider-Carnage from opening up an inter-dimensional hole and causing an explosion that will destroy all realities and dimensions, in Scarlet Spider's reality. Unfortunately, one of the Spider-Men is suffering from the six-armed mutation; he turns into the feral Man-Spider mid-mission. Eventually, The Spider-Men stop Spider-Carnage in his home dimension, but he escapes to another dimension, the one where Spider-Man is a billionaire. With limited power Madame Web sends the original Spider-Man to this dimension, where he finds himself engaged to Gwen Stacy, and finds Mary Jane alive! Though it seems Spider-Carnage can't be stopped, this reality is where Peter Parker made the right decisions; a still-alive Uncle Ben manages to bring the real Peter's personality out of Spider-Carnage, but the symbiote is too strong. Spider-Carnage jumps into an unstable portal that destroys him. When all the Spider-Men are being returned home, the powerless one explains that in his world, he's an actor that portrays Spider-Man and that he is a fictional character. Spidey journeys to that world, where he meets Stan Lee, and takes him web-swinging as thanks for creating him. Madame Web then takes Spider-Man to find Mary Jane as payment for saving reality. (These two episodes were called "Spider Wars, Chapter I: I Really, Really Hate Clones" & "Spider Wars, Chapter II: Farewell, Spider-Man". These cartoon series is in fact my favorite Spider Man cartoon series of all times. But it will be better if Agent Vemon was in it. Not only that, the series shows tons of other Marvel characters that OTHER Spider-Man Cartoon Series Present day, and in the mere future should do. That's not the only Cartoon series. "Spider-Man Unlimited" Was created 1998-2001. It was created by the same people that made "Spider-Man: The Animated Series" And it is just as cool as the Spider-Man: Animated series. And You guys should have include the Spider-Man in "Spider-Man Unlimited". To tell you about it, the series talks about how Spider-Man trying to cover the launch of John Jameson's one-man mission to Counter-Earth (another Earth located on the far side of the Sun), Spider-Man attempts to stop his two symbiote adversaries Venom and Carnage from boarding the shuttlecraft. Blamed for Jameson losing contact with our Earth by J. Jonah Jameson of the Daily Bugle, Spider-Man becomes a target of persecution by the media and the public at large, with a bounty placed on his head. Believed to be dead after saving a person's life in a fire, Peter Parker uses the ruse to embark on a mission to retrieve John Jameson on Counter-Earth. His new Spider suit using nanotechnology discreetly borrowed from Reed Richards to design a new suit that incorporates built in webshooters, stealth technology and anti-symbiote sonic weaponry. Making his way to the planet, Spider-Man learns that Jameson has fallen in with a band of freedom fighters opposed to the High Evolutionary whose Beastials, hybrids of animal and humanoid attributes, are the dominant species whilst humans are the second-class minority.
With Jameson reluctant to return until all of the Beastials are defeated, Spider-Man elects to remain on Counter-Earth, blending in as best as he can as Peter Parker, and fighting the High Evolutionary and his Knights of Wundagore alongside the rebels as Spider-Man. It is soon discovered that Venom and Carnage are also on Counter-Earth, and are following orders from the Synoptic, a hive-minded legion of Counter-Earth symbiotes. This series also shows the animated version of John Jameson's Man-Wolf form, as well as superhero versions of mainstream villains the Green Goblin and the Vulture.
There's also the live-action Japanese Spider-man... who had a giant robot named Leopardon. Said giant robot later inspired the production company behind the show to start including giant robots in their other more successful show. This show continued the giant robot trend for decades to come, then its raw footage was used in this little known show called Power Rangers.

'90s Peter Parker, Captain Universe era
One thing I loved in Superior Spider-Man, specifically in the one panel/page shown in this video, is that the villain Spider-Man slashes is taken back by that and yells "Since when does Spider-Man do this?!" Others have pointed it out that heroes like Spider-Man and Batman should not be able to successfully interrogate criminals since everyone should know that they won't kill anyone. You'd have to do something especially awful to them, more along the lines of murdering their family for them to consider roughing you up worse than maybe a broken bone or two. There really should be thugs who laugh like "okay let me weigh my options, you break a couple of my bones, I go to the hospital and maybe jail, then nothing else happens to me or I even get rewarded for keeping my mouth shut, or I tell you and Kingpin has me murdered."

In a short space of time Miles has ascended to a mainstream superhero. Him being the main Spiderman after Secret Wars testifies to this. Morales is the future.

I don't know if he was in the comics or if he was strictly TAS but one of my favorites is Armored Spider-man, where he is a rich arrogant playboy who never lost a battle. Also the version where Spider-man took as trophies the arms of Doc Ock and added it to his suit. Those are my two favorite alternate versions os him.

I used to absolutely love the armored suit seeing it for the first time in the original spiderman cartoon show in the 90s during the madam Webb spider verse episodes where the armored spiderman appeared. I thought it was sooooo cool that spiderman had a suit made out of armored metal
