Thank you, we will try when we go to penang next month.
It is charcoal fired char kway tiaw.
It was delicious.
@Always on a Journey Chinese called it intense heat wok hei. As mentioned by uncle Roger.
Can’t wait to visit Penang again next month! But when We first saw that noodle dish it also reminded us of pad Thai… now I wonder who inspired who 😅
I will definitely visit again later this year. I'm also curious about who influenced who. Thanks for your comments. We really appreciate them. Hopefully our paths cross sometime in the near future. :-)
@@AlwaysonaJourney yes let’s! And no problem we love your videos :)
Welcome to Malaysia, tourists to Malaysia no problem with communication as almost all Malaysian can speak some basic English, btw New Lane, Chulia Street hawkers mainly cater to tourists, local n foreign, prices 20 to 30% higher than those local goes...but worth the experience..
Thank you. We love it. I'm sure we will spend a lot of time in Malaysia this year. The food is delicious.yrs, you're right speaking English has been very easy everywhere we've visited so far.
@@AlwaysonaJourney if u luv nature n cooler weather should consider a visit to Cameron Highlands, beautiful tea plantations, especially Sg Palas BOH plantation started by n still owned by a Scottish family...
@@bk1571 Wow, that sounds great. There's so many interesting things to do. I love this. Thank you. ;-)
Been in Georgetown a week or so and I'm digging the Char Kway Teou! Haven't checked out New Lane yet. It's only a 750 meter walk, but there are so many street food options that are even closer, I haven't needed to walk that far. Lol!
Brilliant! The food options are excellent. Glad you're enjoying being there.:-)

Hi Paul. Thank you. I've only used dentists in Phuket and Chiang Mai. :-)
18:33 Malaysians do eat pork but most Muslims in Malaysia or the Malays don’t.
Thanks. That's good to know. :-)
