The Lolyne is actually a Vyking. The Lolynes have a different Window layout compared to a Vyking, 1 Short Window at the backside whereas the Vyking has a 1 full one.
    Good video nontheless!

    Hi there,
Just replying to your questions about the ex Yellow Buses Bournemouth Volvo models.
This one at Red Rose is ex Yellows 420.
The recent ones of these were the 2 convertible models that were originally Yellow Buses, but transferred to Go South Coast in August 2022.
They were 431 and 432 ending in HFB and HFC.
    Now currently 1812 and 1813 mainly for 80 route, but oddly a 1a, m1, m2 etc...
420 is HFD, but as a standard bus, this continued up to 424 and not followed the open tops with numbers.
420 left Yellow Buses back in 2018 and went to Ensign Bus Sales for sale at £7,000.
This and 422 are the only 2002 plates still in active service, alongside the GSC open top ones.
423 and 424 are scrapped, 421 is not known?
The 2 open tops stayed on at Yellow Buses until the very last day of operations which was 4th August 2022.
There was a 3rd open top convertible numbered 430, but that had a engine fire in 2014, so withdrawn early there.
With the Volvo B7TL Vyking models just like 420, Yellow Buses did also have 426 to 428 in service until the final day as well.
428 kept it's original Primrose interior (Same as 420)
Was at Squarepeg Leeds, but recently scrapped at Barnsley in September 2023.😢
But 426 and 427 were refurbished into RATP Standard Interior back in 2014.
426 is now part of a local preserved group, but 427 is at a small operator in North Hampshire.
Also much earlier models from 2001 at Y registration plates, they were 411 to 418.
Those moved to Ensign Bus Sales back in Summer 2018.
Same interior as 420 as well.
Today 411 is a school library
413 is at GDS Travel in Spalding
417 is with Marshalls Leighton Buzzard
418 is with PH Lee Cambridgeshire in Blue Livery.
    414 and 415 are scrapped
    412 and 416 are unknown?
We hope that 1 of these will enter Preservation within the next few years, as a memory to Bournemouth Transport LTD 🙂
I hope this helps with information, if you do have any further questions, please do let me know and I'll be happy to help and respond🙂
    Kind Regards
