Motorguide Xi5/Xi3 Update Simrad and Lowrance. Stop spinning and losing control in anchor lock.

If your mororguide Xi5,Xi3 will not anchorlock properly with pinpoint GPS, you need to run these updates.

Hi Paulo, thanks for this information! My Xi5 is integrated with a Lowrance Elite FS 9 by Nmea 2000 and I'm facing some problems! 1) When I'm in anchor mode, the Sonar touch screen doesn't work; 2) When I select a fishing point on the remote control from 1 to 8, the Xi5 starts the path but then emits a long beep and stops; Anyway, I will update according to your instructions and I believe it will solve the problem! Unfortunately we do not have good support for these products in Brazil!

The problems you have described is exactly how mine behaved until I ran the update.

I ran mine yesterday and the anchorlock feature and simrad/Lowrance is working for the trolling feature as well.

Go to network /devices should show what version you have.

Hi Paulo, what do you need to do if you have the hand and foot remotes.
can the update be done for both remotes at the same time or do i need run the update twice????

The remote update should fix the foot as well.
