Once I saw the Smugglers Room I was hooked along with Van Oak Props, along with a few other channels. Who knew you could have so much fun doing this. Great video.
I know! Im addicted to there channels and all there room builds! I want so bad to make my work shop a star wars room but i just dont know where to start and get overwhelmed!
LMAO!! When I saw the handle on the light switch I started laughing....that's so genius...why didn't I think of that? Great job and thanks for the vid!
I used that JB weldcPutty to make home Made Sculpting Tools using empty writing Puns and items It also good fir making Repairs and hobby stuff. It Cures really fast like 4 mins
I love that stuff. I don't think I have ever used it for what it's intended for ahah. I have also used it to fix 3dprints, filling and shaping, easy to sand. It's great stuff!
Mostly cheap stuff I can get locally at Walmart and Hobby Lobby. It's nothing special, I try to find a good mix brush pack, and I don't treat them well, lol. So I can't justify buying high-end hobby brushes. Paint is usually apple barrel or folk art, plaid.
Cool video. The end result looks great. Although... I'm sorry to be, "that guy" but, you really should not be working on a light switch with the cover off while there is still power to the socket. Also, while it is likely fine, you may want to check with your local code to assure that isn't a fire hazard or against code. I also felt hot gluing it to the wall was an interesting choice considering you have a 3D printer. Designing a quick plate with a few magnets could be temporary mounted with drywalls screws or double sided tape. That way when you need to replace the batteries you can just pop it off without having to break the glue and then having to reapply it each time. Or, again you have a 3D printer. You could create a magnetic panel that can be popped off from the front giving you access to the batteries. I dunno, just some suggestions.
Hey thanks for the imput. I like all those ideas, your right about it not being safe with the cover off, sometimes I overlook that stuff. I try to use what I have on hand, I love the idea of 3d printing this, I just have a small resin printer I use for miniatures and figures, maybe if I ever get a Bambu I'll revisit this.
Ha! That's a neat idea! For the movie room tooooo! 😎💪
Thanks! yes movie room hallway, going to paint that wall to match!
