Great minds think alike! I just bought one of these last week from Amazon and it arrived yesterday! It's been out of stock forever and out of stock again on Amazon.
@cooltoy I've had it set to "notify" me when it came back in stock for close to 6 months! I guess you and I aren't the only ones who see Star Wars everywhere... lol The manufacturer of these things is probably super confused why they can't keep this particular one in stock! 😂
I did this and blew out several light strips. Two-sided tape didn't hold the lights in place but I had already nailed down the back panel (box) Aaaaa had to tear apart the three that I made and go back and staple the lights down which towards the end blow the lights in which I had to ripe them out and start over. Aaaaa I ended up having to glue the lights in place.
I got it done with just one pack, but it’s definitely cutting it close. If I would have messed up a cut or two I would have definitely needed another pack

This looks really cool, but I’m still working on other much needed home repairs, so ascetics will have to wait for a bit.

Amazing
I love it! How does this plug in? One standard single 110v plug
It’s currently plugged into the wall outlet using the included 24v wall adapter that came with the led strip
Nice work

Awesome
Cool❤
Great video thanks! I'm going to be making this next month. Is the one order (10 pack) of black stencil sheets enough or do I need two of them?
I got it done with just one pack, but it’s definitely cutting it close. If I would have messed up a cut or two I would have definitely needed another pack
@@cooltoy thanks for letting me know. I'll get two just to be safe. This is gonna look great in my Star Wars themed home arcade.
❤brilliant 🏁
Thanks man!
@@cooltoy ❤️
Could you cut it in half? I am thinking of making 2 3x3 panels for the ends my kid’s bed.
Really cool look! What did it take you (8 hrs?). You said a day, so for me I’m guessing two🤷
Yeah I’d say 8 hours is a fair estimate. The time consuming parts being cutting to Mylar to fit the grooves and making the wooden frame
Looks great! The dark side approves 😎
How can I made one step by step in case I can't find anymore that death star from amazon?
I included multiple vendors who sell the panel besides Amazon if that's what you are asking about.
Nope, too much work. But, Cooltoy, it is awesome!
Fair enough!
Very cool!
