It worries me when Trav seems more optimistic than Dr Rob!

I think the turnovers will still plague Nebraska this year.

Do you open with a run or a pass? They open with whatever play they have been practicing so much the players are tired of it. And it will look like they know what they are doing. And then after that they will have a false start and a hold and a fumble.

    What a flashback...The Tom Osborne Show...it was a snoozer, but a classic.

It's funny that John Melton's show was more popular than Coach Osborne's show.

Do you guys think CU cares about anything but beating Nebraska? I don't. He's gone after this year. Both of his boys are graduating and he couldn't care less about the situation of CU football. He is probably trying to get himself fired.

They won't run it much because they can't. Puts the OC in a bad spot.

One more thing...how many people's parents can we hire in order to get the star recruits and when does that go bankrupt? Come on now...give me one name of a blue chipper that isn't related to NU staff or employees?

Now I know why Northwestern beat the odds last year...and Nebraska beat them.....miraculously. NW has brains. I think the combined team IQ is just poor with all of the turnovers and false starts. Oh yeah, and jumping on 3rd and 4 by the defense....I don't think we did that in little league it was so instilled in us.

Rob when NU came with 3 Sanders made clowns out of them. These guys were running and diving missing his jukes getting up again for a sure sack and he would evade them again. It was embarrassing. TOP was equal for the game but CU ran 14 more plays. This is not an athletic defense and will be way overhyped again this year.

Ok I've hit on all the negatives. Let's talk positives. Raiola is an incredible specimen for a freshman. Six three 230 and he doesn't rattle easy. Plus he has a good support cast for family to love on him when things go bad. There will be growing pains. Don't care what people say he has the calm nerves to handle the pressure and you will see him grow throughout the season. My prayer is that the OLine miraculously gained muscle mass and speed to handle the edge rushers. I think Dylan is a second quicker on seeing the field and finding the open guy. If all of those combinations work he could be dangerous and jaw dropping. The potential for a 180 switch is there but it all depends on Oline improvement.

Was that when Hollywood Henderson, a Dallas linebacker was returning kickoffs with a dose of cocaine up the nose and doing it well?

Nebraska started the game off well. Just like they do every year. Prescripted and practiced first drive over and over. But then they get out of that scripted first drive and they run around the field like they don't know what they are doing. That's all on coaching and it's been going on for years now. Outside of their opening drive they just look lost.

I'm probably going to get my knee caps hammered and shattered for sharing this but Vegas always overs the spread when Nebraska is favored because it is the biggest sucker homer crowd that ever existed. Vegas loves taking your money Nebraska. Start betting against them when you know better. Do you really think Nebraska hangs a 27 point victory over UTEP considering how ugly they have played their opening season game in like.........forever? The OLine is going to magically be better and the front 3 defense are going to magically get sacks without blitz help. My GOD people open your eyes.

Trav...don't sugar coat it. You see it too. You've been watching the same movie for 5 or 6 years now too.
