      He also has a bad habit of going for the less than 50/50 receiver than ignoring a wide open check down receiver OR he's waiting until it's too late to throw to his check down receiver. He might have been able to get away with it in high school, but this is not high school.

      Agree but our o line is leaky. Hopeful Dana calls lots quick passes. We can't stretch the field because of the time those plays take to develop.

    The main issue with this football team is McGuire! Ultimately it falls on Satterfailed, but our WR's are 100% SAWFT!!!!! I watched a LB casually step over Dowdell and sack Dylan?!!!! Banks and Neyor look like confused diva's out there, can't run block, nor can they read defensive coverage. The opposing defense is in zero blitz, and they run 13-16 yard long routes strait down the field with their backs to Dylan?!!! A good way to teach WR's how to block is to run the FU€KING ball!!! No block no rock They say it every day, all day long in Lincoln, but we NEVER see it!!!!! "We need to run the ball when everyone knows we need to run the ball." -M Rhule Dec 2022 Did anyone watch UCLA overcome 3 turnovers and gash the Iowa defense in a win last night? "We can't win games if we don't pass the ball." -M Satterfailed May 2023 I'm going to go out on a limb here, but my guess is Tom Osborne did not throw the ball more than 150 attempts in 25 years coaching.... ...yet responsible for 5 National Titles!!! Do you think there is some kind of "Cognitive Dissonance" when the head coach of your football team hires consultants to fix your Offense, when the GOAT of misdirection in NCAA history lives down the street?!!!! Rhule is a fool, lost and confused 😐 Playing with overwhelming expectations is not a burden... ....it's a privilege.

    Travis justice comparing hundreds of thousands or multimillion dollar salaries. To thousand (if that) to hundreds of thousands (maybe two players get that) and he thinks it’s the same. Nebraska fans are shit fans. They need to get over themselves. If the fans can’t be like they were for the Colorado game all the time. Then they need to shut the fuck up and quit showing up. Stop buying the tickets let the stupid ass sell out streak (which is fake) end.

    This team has no senior leadership. Sure, we have guys who are artists with the eye black and are great at throwing the bones after the opponent rips off a good run. When nut cutting time comes, those seniors are nowhere to be found.

    What group or position has really progressed or had major growth - is haarberg really the only one? Everyone else seems fairly neutral to last year. What group or position has been better than 3 year ago? The coaches should be pissed. Poor route running, poor decision making when running the ball, a QB that maybe has the game moving too fast for him, poor tackling, poor scheming that seems to be built for different players, and if the defense goes against a running QB you have a defense that seems to be flat footed. At some point their needs to be answers. I don't care about Ws and Ls when it comes to the early years of a coach, but how can fundamentals be so bad somehow.

    Nothing is gonna change, another 5-7 season. Rhule won't make the hard decisions in the offseason that need to be made. I blame the last three AD's for this cycle of BS. Offering big money for subpar performance in coaching and players. Can you imagine that Coach Prime has Colorado in the top 25 and on the top side of there conference...granted a weaker conference.

    Dr Rob - I'd love your take on the variety of run plays being called and the complexity of the run blocking. I know it is hard to diagnose as you don't know exactly what the line is supposed to do, but I recall multiple pulling linemen in 'the 90's.' Apples and oranges, but I feel the run plays are very basic and limited in variety. And I'm not sure they pull much on the line. What's your take?

  • @mreburto239
    @mreburto239 12 днів тому

    It isn't just the offense. The defensive secondary is really struggling. Teams see Isaac Gifford in the middle of the secondary and they are feasting on his lack of speed. UCLA looked like a speedy Pro team. We have a lot of work to do all over the field. We are in a very bad place now. The high level of criticism has turned Nebraska into a coaching and player graveyard.

    The whole crowd thing was just an embarrassment. I had to shout out to everyone around me to "SHUT THE HELL UP SO THEY CAN HEAR THE PLAYCALL." I even watched Benhartt wave down the crowd noise and knew "Oh crap they can't hear." That last 5 minutes of the game was just absolutely embarrassing on us the fans part. We aren't getting loud when the opposing team is in the huddle, we only get loud once they get out of the huddle. If we the fans want to do our part we need to be as loud as possible when the opponent is all huddled up, not after they've broke huddle.
