@@Galimeer5 Maybe but just maybe if you choose the right dialogue and respect serana through the whole story line. You are the first person to give serana a new image of the world and its beauty. She always was isolated in Castle Volkihar and the only beauty she was witnessing was the garden from her mother. You basically made her dreams come true by going adventuring with her and see the true nature of the world. But since serana was hit strong by her family circumstances, she forgot her real attention to go adventuring..she forgot how it was to have fun, forgot many things about the environment and in that desperation she even remembered the day where she was raped by Molag Bal. But you saved her, went with her in a journey she always wished for even though you are a human or better - became a vampire for her sake too. Dude I don't like Harkons intentions to sacrifice serana just for his foolish plans, but even he witnessed that serana changed after meeting you and I'm pretty sure you are going to be her first love too (she just needs much time to actually forget the past and to go on)

She is not marriagable but there was one statement of her that suggests that something steamy happened to the dovahkiin and her. Also when you finish the dawnguard quest either she stay as a vampire or changed as a human, you can ask her for marriage but she won't accept it saying that they're already good the way they are now marriage is not possible. Most likely they're already in a relationship but due to her trauma for being raped by Molag in temple of Mara, she don't want to marry and recall everything on how she was molested by Molag.

Just to be safe, they will probably not add her in the next game. Just think, she would have to be vague as fuck to fit all of the player's different actions during the games, and that's not considering the fact you can convince her to become human.
ES6 will take part in Hammerfall. And if the leaks are true, then the story will be about Redfall which is before Skyrim's story... I think.

Just look at Nazir, the dude is the most badass looking member of the dark brotherhood and he has a really cool set of alikr armor. another awesome redguard in skyrim is kematu, the dude who lead the group of alikr mercenaries in swindlers den.

@@malekiththeeternityking5433 It was in Serana quotes. Plus in Amorous Adventures mod. It uses voice lines from same voice actor. Since Serana's voice actor was unique and only voiced her ; It oughtta be her unused dialog line.

We had to make mods to fill this game with any meaningful companions like Inigo. Someone said Skyrim is a shitty game with many tools so player makes this game good for themselves with mods. And I agree with that, this game is NOTHING without mods. Worst part is that the modding community is so isolated, so many mods ideas were stopped because someone already created it, stoped updating and didn't allow anyone to continue their work likę a little bitch. Compatibility between is also a problem because people don't want to make it and they think that people paly only their mod XD You don't see that many bullshit in Dragon Age, Minecraft or even Oblivion community. It's just that Skyrim both LE and SE modding is cancer and toxic, 0 cooperation hence why we can't make Skyrim the best modable game unless you do it all on your own and don't share anything on nexus c;

I would love to think that once you downloaded the mod, Serana wil say:

Also copy pasting this bc is interesting: (wall of text ahead)
- Serana doesn't have any clue about an "Empire" to the south of Skyrim, so she predates Alessia (likely by a margin of a century or two).
- She recognises Windhelm, which was around before she was. Windhelm is believed to be the oldest city in Skyrim, and dates back to the late Merethic.
- She calls Windhelm the "City of Kings" (implying at least Ysgramor and Harald, possibly more).
- She does not seem to have been a contemporary of Ysgramor (the migratory-fleet one, that is), though she's probably within a few centuries of him.
- Based on this, assuming she wasn't born in Skyrim is... well, I won't call it a complete waste of time, but it would be very unlikely.
- The last colony ship to come from Atmora was in 1E 68.
- She expresses horror at the Falmer camp. While I can't remember her exact words, she does seem to postdate their transformation.
- Harald destroyed the last stronghold of the Dragon Cult in 1E 140, and I can't recall her saying anything about living through the Dragon Wars or a particular dragon presence.
- She doesn't seem aware that around about 1E 240, Skyrim conquered Morrowind and High Rock temporarily.
Now, I'm going to place her birth and early life around 1E 150-200, becoming a vampire when she was still quite young. This is mostly because there isn't a set timeline for the Merethic era, but I'll note that she could easily be a fair bit older than that, depending on how far back into the Merethic Ysgramor's migration was. The oldest date in Mundus is ME 2500 (the construction of Ur-Tower and the end of the Dawn Era with the beginnings of linear time). However, Serana displays no knowledge of Atmora, so the people who came from there were probably at least a generation or two removed from her (alternately, she may have never had any contact with them). It's a very narrow timeframe, I admit.
Since she was locked up long before Alessia's empire, I'll also guess that the latest possible (and mathematically easy) date for her imprisonment in Dimhollow Crypt is 1E 200-220. This is cutting things very close to Alessia's rebellion in 1E 243, so the date probably can't be pushed much beyond that.
First Era: 2720 years (including 1008 missing years from the Dragon Break) dating from an assumed imprisonment in Dimhollow of 1E 200.
Second Era: 897 years.
Third Era: 433 years.
Fourth Era: 200 years (Serana is awakened in 4E 201).
So she has been stuck in that tomb for 4250 years. Discounting the Dragon Break, it drops to 3242 years. Regardless of which number you use, that is a LONG time.
Serana has been stuck on the island practically all her life and has limited knowledge of events at times.

@@darthsquid2107 Since she was a member of a Kings Family she had access to information and stories. Also, bards were and are a huge source of information at Kings courts, even though they always exaggerated.
That said, she never mentioned having no clue about the outside world, but she does mention her wish to explore the world she has quote "always heard stories about".
Everything in Skyrim storyline has connected to Mythic era, from Alduin, Snow Elves, Miraak, Ysgramor, to Eye of Magnus.
She doesnt need to be older then alessia, maybe lived in the period between empires. Only thing said was at the time she was imprisioned cyrodill didnt had a empire.
Me and molag bal are going to have a good conversation when I get back to his shrine...

Too bad you couldn't marry Serana after convincing her to become human again. Stupid Beth. You can marry random people you barely know but someone you actually get close to throughout an entire arc - someone you SAVED a couple of times - cannot be persuaded. Thank God for mods.

Isn't strange that Harkon's Kingdom isn't mentioned,they could have added ruins of Harkon's Kingdom and even some citiziens mention a legend of a "Red" Tyrant or some extra lore in games books.
I always wondered why Serana said Cyrodill's a seat of a empire,was she born during the Intregnum or after.She must have known about the Reman Dynasty.
She said it as a question. Meaning they were around before cyrodill was ever the empire as we know it. She was probably around when the aylieds were at war with the humans or just after

Knuckles even if that is the case I think they are going to keep her as a vampire it would make more sense for the story and maybe in ES6 they will make her a main character in the vampire story line(if they are having one) again but I do and even if serana isn’t in the story I think it’s safe to say her mother will because she never died
it would be nice to see her return. It also would be a reunion as the player is the reincarnation of a dead god. You are basically the eternal champion.
Serana's probably the NPC in Skyrim with a sad backstory but with the greatest development. It's not just her daddy issues. It tackes on how she longs for a normal family living their life to the fullest. But Harkon fears death so much, he turned to vampirism by offering his wife and daughter to Molag Bal for such a degrading ritual, which deep inside, even Serana claims it's an honor, she's actually torned up. Valerica wants to see him fail for the benefit of vampiric "balance". And the kid is smashed between two boulders.
With the Dragonborn's aid, no matter which side they choose, lift up Serana's spirits and enjoyed life and freedom for the first time. This fulfillment of hers is more evident with Serana Dialogue Add-on mod. Vanilla-wise though, I'm glad she and Valerica reconcilled when she finally got the courage to tell her feelings of being left out because of her parents' obsession. Harkon, on thr other hand, is beyond repair. She'll be more happy, to the point of trancendence, when they're in Dawnguard side and she got cured. I just hope the same is possible with Valerica.

I agree that would be cool she could be like the queen of the castle they live at and her mother either beside her helping or her mother got cured i would Love to see her in it but the only problem is that if you go by the cured version and it’s years later she’d be dead unless you go with the version that isn’t cured she’d still be Alive years later and tell you about the Dragonborn or if it’s around a reason year around Skyrim 5 and she did take the cure she wouldn’t be that old or if you go by vampire she’d still be alive either way I’d Love to see her Also sorry if this seems confusing like how I worded it’s easier to explain verbally than on text
hmm i dunno but i really really wanna see her in the elder scrolls 6
I have her as a follower and really like her. She is not like the other followers who just stand there. She walks around, sits down, I think it is funny when I am visiting the Jarls, she sits down at the big table and drinks and eats. Other times in taverns she will move with the music and I can almost see her singing along with the Bard and she will drink as she stands there listening. One time we were in a dungeon and there was a pile of wood, I stopped to go through my inventory and she starts chopping wood. She also will mine ore on her own. Another time she started stirring a pot over a fire, and she loves to stand and lean on Alchemy table and actually looks like she is making potions. Any time I am storing things or doing something that I have to take some time, she will go sit down and wait.
What I don't like about Serana is since she is somewhat independent, she tends to wander off or walk in front of me when I am talking or doing something. The worst is when she walks in front of me or stands in front of me when I am swinging a sword or casting a spell and hit her. Another thing I noticed is you cannot give her orders. You can have her wait, trade items and split up and that is it.

as crazy as he was i think he still loved her in his own twisted way, he wanted his whole family to be safe from death, plus i very much doubt the ritual would've likely killed her otherwise there would be no point in taking such a gamble, if anything he just had complete disregard for the sufferings of others even his own so long as they get to live
Nope, most die, both serana and her mother mention it, also there is alot of evedence ppl die from it, even the first vampire died.
It really pisses me off that the best character to marry CAN’T be married! I found a mod but it feels empty, the modder just altered her dialogue to (match) new things to say to her.

No...I can’t imagine housewife-ing her...would rather travel the world with her for all time...Demi-God Dragonborn and Vampire Princess. Both are pretty much immortal at this point. (Debatable with the DB but to be honest...there would be a war in Oblivion and the Heavens over his soul if he died...easier for him to just be immortal and not deal with it. Besides with access to Apocrypha and all its knowledge...yeah immortality is definitely his.
@@DJSpike-ft9yw Same here.. I did it with mods, but it feels really plain and low for a vampire princess to cook me a homemade meal and give me the store money. I always envisioned her as a dangerous lover, a soul mate that you can't have. We took on the world together, grew on each other, but there are reasons she can't be married to me. Like some wise men said: you have a soul mate and a life partner. Serana is our soul mate, Lydia (or any other wife) is our life partner. Much of her appeal comes from the fact that shes unavailable even tho you know that deep down she loves you. It's like in real life. I think bethesda did this on purpose, and it's very smart.

Serana is the only character in game which face and hair I already loved but didn't find any mod that would update the details of it or make it 4k with some more physics maybe and little details :C You found anything like that? There aren't many good liftup mods for characters that stay true to vanilla or don't make it worse

It would be interesting if the next Chapter of Elder Scrolls Online was Harkon and the vampires in Skyrim.
Bethesda must be a psychological genius, she felt like the realest person in the game and so i was curious if i could marry her. And turns out alot of people were curious of this also

Interesting you mentioned ESO in this since many people are suggesting the next ESO chapter will take place in Skyrim. That could be an interesting link if ESO decide to tie in some lore.
And they did.... In a single line of dialog. Apparently by the start of ESO the Volkihars vampire clan has established itself but is keeping itself distant from the ongoings of the Western Skyrim story.
You said Serana was placed in Dim Hollow Crypt in the second era. Serana states that she had not heard of Cryodil being the seat of an Empire and the Empire was founded in the First Era. So either early first era or in the Merethic Era was when she entombed, pushing the entire timeline back for this video.
It was likely that she had lived during the interregnum between the assassination of the Akaviri potentate and the conquests of Tiber Septim
Are you sure about the Second Era? She seemed surprised that Cyrodiil was the seat of an Empire, you think the Reman Empire would have made her aware that such a thing was possible.
In a developer interview one of the devs said it was their intention to have her be sealed at the end of the second era between the reman and septim empires.
If I had to speculate without that statement I would personally put her sealing way earlier. But the devs hath spoken I suppose

The dialogue with the SDA mod during the House of Horrors quest is just heartbreaking. I know Valerica isn't as bad as Harkon per se but she was still a shit mother to allow Harkon to give her daughter over to Molag Bal to be raped. The dialogue of that mod during that quest made me despise her parents even more even though it's not canon because that's likely how it went. Ugh.

Her IA becomes more alive and starts to interact with other npc and talks about your quest
I used Live with Serana. I respect her fear of temples, I just offered her the same roof and being adventure companions. Not a single regret

I reckon it would be awesome if we see her in the elder scrolls 6 if she didn’t cure her vampirism and is still alive if they game takes places years later after Skyrim be a great way to learn what happened after the events of Skyrim and the fate of the Dragonborn
So Serana went into Dimhollow Crypt near the end of the Second Era, so I’m a little surprised as to how she never knew about the Empire. Maybe it was around 50 years before Tiber Septim finished his conquest?

Serana periodically says "Is this a Dwarven city? I can't believe they'd let it get so run down", when you're about to delve into one, confirming that she was sealed away before their disappearance in the 700th year of the First Era.
Her surprise about Cyrodiil being the seat of an Empire though presents a pair of possibilities: She was either sealed away before Saint Alessia established her Empire in Cyrodiil in 243 OR she didn't know about the Alessian Empire because of seclusion.

My favorite followers are Belrand and Eola, Belrand is a nord that uses sword and spell and he has a funny lighthearted personality and Eola is a ghoulish character that is very cunning and uses intelligent tactics in combat she uses stealth techniques and takes cover behind objects when taking fire and she also uses sword and spell
She is one of my favorite characters in Skyrim probably 3rd then I'd have to say Sheogorath and my favorite would be you all know

What Harkon doesn't understand is something that we all know.If you block out the sun the plants will die.Then the animals will die and then the people will ultimately die as well.Then the vampires will starve.They won't die but they will certainly wish they were dead.

You can only banish him. But youd need divine power to beat him. Like how Almelexia,Vivec and Sotha Sil did to Azura. First they summoned her then defiled her lol. Even as a dragonborn youre no match for Molag Bal ^^

I think its really good to have some reliable companion as her than spouse. I wouldnt want her to stay at home and open a shop. Like Bishop says ; I come to like to live with our new home but if i offer to open a shop , kill me.

I have a question. If I want to kill a Daedric Prince like Mehrunes Dagon in his realm and somehow after killing him, what will happen? Will nothing happen or will I absorb his power thus making me the next Prince of Destruction? What do you think?

As you can't kill any daedra. You can only destroy their body and projection, but ultimately only send them on a journy where they recover their "energy" and start anew. That is why old Sheo exists.

I am surprised I did not notice this before but looking at the map background (0:47), it looks like Bethesda modified a map of Eurasia. Can clearly see Italy, Scandinavia, Illiac Bay is the Black Sea with a landmass added to the middle of it. Same for Russia (just broke up a piece for Vvardenfell), Greece, Far East region, etc. Cool

Serana was NOT imprisoned in the 2nd Era she was imprisoned in the Merithic Era well before there was an empire in Cyrodiil which explains why she has no clue about said empire or it being a seat to one

I always thought she was way older than that, since she didn't know cyrodil was the seat an empire. It could be because of the interregnum, but the way its frased implies she doesn't know of any cyrodill led empire at all. This would put her before Reman. Maybe even beforr Alessia.
If you side with the vampires you don't get the Dwarven Crossbow and the special bolts you can get to go with it but you never go to Redwater Den if you side with the Dawnguard which is about it.
Enhanced dwarven crossbow is very stronk. Trajectory is awful but satisfying to launch bolts at elves.
One thing that disappointed me about Serana and syou cannot marry her in fact, you have to use mods to do so

Ingjard is often overlooked, but she is a beauty who rivals even Serana. I'd also say Valerica in her prime may have slightly surpassed Serana in looks, and knowing how she's retained much of her beauty still in her old age and seeing how regal and wise she is, it makes her extremely sexy in my opinion.

Love this, only issue isn't your fault. Bethesda seems to have mixed up their timelines, because if Serana was locked away at the end of the 2nd Era, she would have known about the Empire because by the 2nd Era, the 2nd Empire was stationed, the Reman Dynasty and empire ruled at that time, and the 1st Empire to which she most likely wasn't around to see founded was the Alessian Empire in the early 1st Era according to my math, Serana was locked away for around 4200 years give or take the odd century or decade
My personal theory is that what we are seeing is not the real story. I think that the story of the collapse of the Nordic Empire runs straight through Haarkon and Serena.
I think that the logical story is that Serena was in fact sheltered as a child up to a point. She has some knowledge of the Kingdom of Skyrim, but they did not finish her story completely which is why we have the massive confusion about when she was locked away. Maybe she was living on that secluded island as the protected heir to the throne until she could be fully trained, but that Haarkon may actually have been one of the last of the High Kings of the Nordic Empire of Skyrim before it was defeated by the Dark Elves and Dwarves. Furthermore I think that Haarkon's actions set in motion the collapse of the empire. It was not simply the defeat and death of Borgas in the Wild Hunt, but Haarkon seeking a pact with Molag Bal and the probable mountain of deaths he needed to secure his pact for "immortality." I think this also accounts for some of the confusion as to dates of High Kings in that era as Haarkon may very well have been scrubbed from the records after he effectively fed his daughter and wife to Molag Bal after causing a wave of death and destruction to get what he wanted. Haarkon's actions in addition to eliminating Serena's claim on the throne also probably brought disgrace to all of his immediate relatives allowing a weak and foolish High King like Borgas, who was likely a member of one of the lesser lines of Ysgramor's blood, to come to the throne and put himself in danger in the first place.
Thus leaving the Empire weak and due for a massive civil war as claimants of a suddenly empty throne and a completely disgraced blood line of the original High King was wiped from memory.
We already know from the Archmage Gauldur questline that those that either disgraced themselves or destroyed their family reputation had a habit of being excised from history.
Interesting theory. That would indeed make sense as to why Harkon was completely whiped from history despite him claiming to had a "vast kingdom". One thing that adds to this is when you free Serana she will ask who the current high king of Skyrim is. Confirming that despite her isolation she knew about politics. This would make Harkon also a more interesting character as he basically brought down an entire empire for his own selfish needs.

As far as I recall the Seranaholic mod required a Seraphim specific body base. Since the author deleted his mods from Bethesda it means if you didn't keep that, for whatever reason anything depending on it would be borked well and truly. Sucks for me because I liked the Seraphim body, but I removed it to try and save space once, and mess around with other builds thinking I could always download it again : / now I use a UNP but I wish I had just stuck to Seraphim strictly. (I'm not sure if the deletion applies the same way on PC, but I'm on Xbox One console, so it's definitely borked)

After the lose of his friendhe vowedto never show his face to another living thing. The Khajiit that adopted the ways of the Mandalore, Meets Serana and became a vampire. Becoming great friends with her. He is currently in the bowels of the castle contemplating the possibility of him removing his helmet once again…
