I clicked extra turns that’s why I’m a day late
I didn't want to craft a few of the rares here and ended up replacing them with 3 copies of welcoming vampire. You'd be surprised how much work they put in with this deck. Getting 1-2 cards on your turn AND your opponents turn (if you chump block with the chorus) adds up quick, and having a decent flying blocker against a few of the decks (like the haste chicken in mono red) is nothing to scoff at either.
Did not know you were a magic player and CGB enjoyer Veritas!

Man, loved this deck, a fresh air in amidst of all the Mono Red, Sheoldred and Fables, on the game against RW Battle if you had sacrificed the token and traded you would have won with the leftover incubator.
There is just something so wholesome in seeing CGB cackling with glee

I think in the game agianst Imortal you had the right first instinct to recast butcher. It would have forced it to be a trade and possibly left you in a better spot to finish out that last point of damage. Great games nonetheless! Always fun watching your videos. I will have to try out this build. I have a phyrexian deck that's a bit more focused on incubation. The sacrifice looks fun! Thanks for putting in the time on making videos for us!
I ended up running something very similar to both this and the Phyrexian deck you made last format with both Obliterator and Vindicator, carried me to Diamond
This truly looks like a very cool deck. First time since dominaria united that makes me want to try something new in standard
Nice build CGB. I swapped 1 exarch for the 4th butcher.
5 quick wins including 2 against mono-blue on the draw, and 1 against a resolved fable-copied-a-reanimated-titan. Censor is a real card.

Trying to win at 1 health is like trying to protect yourself from an anvil falling into your head with an umbrella.
What would you replace with Sheodred of the apocalypse? Since she might be banned from standard soon. Weatherlight compleat? Defiler? Vraan?

Honestly i am new to magic i downloaded the game 2 days ago i find myself to enjoy black and white starter deck and i am tryng to learn how to play white and black
That second last game against Guygus and the Atraxa deck... You can hear CGB start saying (what I assume to be) "F*** this" or something similar after he scooped and just couldnt care about playing yet another Atraxa deck lol.
Does anyone have any ideas for Mono-Black control? As a mono black player myself, I feel like ever since dominaria united dropped magic just hasn't been fun. This meta has been an absolute nightmare as a mono black player. Anytime I try to build a mono black control deck I only match up with HUGE control decks that just run me over. It's as if WOTC wants you to play Sheoldred, Trespasser, invoke otherwise you just never win. So if anyone has any deck ideas please let me know.

I was playing Processor in draft and I couldn't activate, in response, ability to sacrifice creature. It wasn't even possible to sac antyhing. GG Arena :(
So I come from yugioh. In that game decks are powercrept pretty quickly. People are mad if a deck is still good if it's over a year old most of the time. Just wondering if this is the case with mtg as well. Thanks
roughly the same, but cards rotate, some of the really strong decks you see might be shit in a month

Is it not possible to hold priority and target the same 1/1 with multiple seedcores? Seems like it would have saved cgb in game 34:00
You can target the same 1/1 twice but then after one resolves the other will fizzle since its target is no longer legal.

The match against logan, you missed lethal when he was at 1, he attacked you and transformed his battle, but he only had 1 blocker.. If you would have played the butcher you would have had menace and won.. Am I wrong??

When you have already confirmed @07:10 the BASIC knowledge that a permanent becoming a creature is ALREADY on the battlefield?
(Meaning "Non-Phyrexian creatures enter Tapped" doesn't affect Bankbuster)
Please someone tell me what am I missing.
I guess he means, that the opponent can not play new creature(s) to crew the bank buster, since they would enter tapped. Crewing it with the trespasser would be a downgrade of 1 point of damage and was therefore probably not considered an option
i been working on a deck like this, just my autism keeps trying to bring the infinite combos into the deck

You say you can't mix up the removal and play some infernal grasps, but all you're REALLY doing by jamming 4 GftT with no other spot removal is making your mono red matchup marginally better for the trade off of getting absolutely bodied by a cityscape leveler or Phyrexian Fleshgorger or something. Also, seems weird not to include Obliterator if you're THAT worried about mono red.

ANYONE ELSE getting tired of the emote spam coming from other players continously from a 3rd party program while they are clearly not clicking those things.... Constant ( Hello! Good Game, NiCE!, Thinking....etc.... ) NO, I DONT WANT TO TURN OFF EMOTES. PLAYERS interactions are EXTREMELY important especially when they are poker tells a large amount of the time. Sometimes informative... like when you forget to pass the turn etc... but mostly because I enjoy the simulated potato chip eating out of a huge bowl emote with wide eyed pretend excitement and intense concentration as to not miss a single thing the opponent does now..... like when monored is out of cards and youre sitting there at 20 plus health and an 8/8 flyer thats going to make their deck look like clownshoes in 10 seconds. =P

As entertaining and cool as your videos are, the depth of understanding of the game always teaches me something. The commentary isn’t just observations. Also I don’t think mirex helps this phyrexian aggro deck much it’s more useful for me in my long game control decks that play a million board wipes. Also in one game mirex pretty much cost you the game due to mana being colorless
