Excellent!!! Going to see Albert with Hogan's heroes tonight in Ashford, Kent. A truly great and versatile guitarist, and a lovely man as well (met him a few times!).
Richard Searles I haven't met him, but I know he's an absolutely nice guy! Very jealous you get to see him, need to get myself out to more Gigs/Concerts.

Much as I like Albert, He doesn't seem comfortable with" Apache." He is a fast picker and Apache is more suited to the slower, deliberate style of Hank, with his heavy use of the tremolo.
He is, but 'uncomfortable'? I can't imagine that. As a member of the Hot Band, he often had to be 'just part of the band' with nothing too fast. He is simply one of the best.
