    *Important Safety Note*
    Safety is my number 1 priority and concern while operating Tesla's FSD Beta software and at no point have I, nor will I subject customers to unnecessary risk. I am in full control, take over regularly, and I am extremely vigilant and cautious at all times. Furthermore, I do not subject anyone to Self Driving features that are uncomfortable or request me not to use it.
    -Tesla's FSD system is classified as a level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System). It is not fully autonomous and I remain in control at all times. There is nothing illegal or concerning about my operation of FSD on Rideshare Drives.
    -I am legally protected to record inside my own personal vehicle while on the job and do attain consent for individuals fully featured in my videos. The rest are blurred out with identifiers censored or cut from the videos entirely.

    v12 looking great! Bronx Pizza @6:15 best NY style pizza in San Diego and @8:10 next to Luna Grill is a great cafe and bakery named Bread and Cie. I use to live in San Diego and would visit both places on a regular basis.

    This is what it will come down to....customer comfort and trust! You're leading the pack here. Good job. As a former cab driver (30+ years ago ha) I envy your driving around with this tech.

      That's awesome to hear! I appreciate your thoughts on the system especially given your experience. Yeah I think it goes much farther than, "can it technically get you there," lol for sure. We want people happy and coming back for more!

    Driving as smooth as a well oiled eel. I'll have to travel over the pond some day to take an FSD ride. We won't be seeing full FSD anytime soon in the UK

    You ever feel like you're trying to invoke FSD conversation too aggressively? I don't know, sometimes the way the conversation topic is forced feels a little cringey to me..
    I guess it works, for the sake of the content 🤷🏻‍♂️
    Happy to see all the big improvements with V12! I got it myself yesterday and have been thoroughly impressed with all the little nuances being fixed.

    • @CYBRLFT
      @CYBRLFT  6 місяців тому +1

      Me? No way lol. That’s funny to hear given in several of my videos I’m talking about how hard it can be to get fun customer interactions because I don’t go out of my way to force the conversation lol. Most of my rides are quiet. You’re seeing the one or two out of ten that actually engage.

    • @alphadelta87
      @alphadelta87 6 місяців тому

      @@CYBRLFT ah that makes sense (that there's plenty more customer rides than you share on YT).
      Just curious! I'm always like "I'm not gonna be that guy that always talks about his car". Most of my neighbor friends and, being a vet myself, most of my military friends could give two shits 😅
      Keep rockin' on brother. And I am glad you are around to do this (after hearing about your crazy car accident story in the first video).
      Much love, bro.

    Uber should do a bulk purchase deal with tesla to offer fsd to drivers at a discounted rate . Would make job a lot easier for the drivers.

    • @ConradOPrice

      Good idea. I wonder how that would affect robotaxi in 5 years time though

    • @realulli
      @realulli 6 місяців тому +1

      Unlikely. Tesla's stated goal is to offer robotaxi services at a much lower cost than Uber.
      Uber would be crazy if they helped the future competition...

    • @rogerstarkey5390
      @rogerstarkey5390 6 місяців тому

      Tesla doesn't discount.
      You get the best price, for the best car on the day you purchase.
      Up or down after that? See above....

    Wanna hear something funny? I drive a model y with HWD4, 2 nights ago I was among the very first HWD4 cars to get the 12.3 update. It downloaded to 100% and hung there, it's tried restarting multiple times but keeps hanging at 100%, and I cant use 11.4.9 because my visualizations aren't working so on the forum they said the computer or ECU needed to be replaced so now i gotta take the car into service on the 22'nd and wait for them to replace the part which people are saying it will take another week. gotta wait 2 weeks to use 12.3 even though it's downloaded to 100% now.

    • @CYBRLFT
      @CYBRLFT  6 місяців тому

      WOW That is wild man... I'm so sorry to hear you are going through that. Damn, hopefully that's all under warranty given a new model Y... YIKES.

    How would you compare the number of CRITICAL (dangerous) events 11.4.9 vs 12.3? Again, only critical events. Thanks for the video.

    • @CYBRLFT
      @CYBRLFT  6 місяців тому

      So on my casual chart, or my donut that differentiates critical disengagements, I've gotten my first two today and it was due to the rising sun causing the red-wheel forced disengagement. That is critical because it's an immediate need to take control of the car, but the scenarios weren't necessarily dangerous because I was there. I hope that makes sense. Aside from that its been non-safety related, non-critical in any sense disengagements.

      I keep my hand close because my passengers safety and comfort comes first, but also yes I have to occasionally satisfy the "nag" as we call it or I can be put in FSD jail.
