Nicely played my man…Rusted anchor was my first love in my first playthrough at launch and carried me to mid to late game…Glad to see many people showing love to it in the dlc on youtube..kind of a resurrection!
Nicely done! I had to beat him with shield and poke, sadly. Next play through I want to use a big bonk of some sort and the anchor looks like a choice. Thanks for sharing!
Wow, that was clean! I could never pull that off. On another note, I noticed you were trying to stack buffs of the same type at the fogwall. Just a heads up that lords divine fortification, black flame's protection and also flame grant me strength overwrite each other. You must choose one and safe the mana.
Yeah I figured that out shortly after posting this, I honestly didn't do much buff stacking prior to the DLC so I didn't realize some of them overwrite.
Incredible! You're pretty good. Honestly though, I'm so disappointed with the final Boss... I really wanted something new, instead we get Radahn again. Except this time is a Twin Princes clone... Other than the final Boss I really enjoyed this DLC, can't wait for the next FromSoft game.
I fully agree, even after learning like 95% of his moveset (there's still like a couple moves that trip me up especially in phase 2, he just didn't do em this run luckily) I just think I don't enjoy the boss that much it just feels very random and spammy. I also wasn't impressed by it being Radahn, I know some people love him but he wasn't exactly my favorite character or boss in the base game and I felt like his story had already been pretty much wrapped up. But the DLC was overall fantastic, and nobody can say I didn't give this boss a fair shake after watching this lol
+25 Heavy Anchor w/ 76 Strength, Talismans are: Dragoncrest Greatshield, Crimson Seed +1, Two-Hand Sword, and Golden Braid. Golden Vow and Flame Grant Me Strength for damage buffs, Opaline Hardtear & Spiked Cracked Tear in the Physick. Ash of War is Wild Strikes but I obv didn't use it in this fight, probably Lions Claw/Savage Lions Claw would've been better as there's some windows, but charged R2 just doing too much damage with the Spiked Tear.
