A beautiful & functional design. The breast cancer awareness printed fabric has just now hit my heart, personally. My first born daughter, @ 47, is enduring her 4th week of the Very, very aggressive breast cancer stage 3b, chemo; found just on July 4th; last month. Thank YOU for choosing this fabric as cancer awareness.
I can always count on you for a fun video to make. I love the fabrics you use making them ever so special for any special person, like our moms or best friend. Thanks again.
Love this pattern. I’ve tried other eye glass case patterns that did not come together. Your pattern is easy to follow and love the cloth tucked in the bottom idea.
This is great! Have to make this and love the idea of putting the cleaning cloth inside where it can’t get lost. I always lose mine and never have it when I need it. These would make great gifts too. Thank you for sharing.
Pure talent!!!! How clever and doable. I make things for a raffle every year for my Mother's patients at Christmas time. I have 5 trees and everything on them too. I was looking for more ideas, thanks. This will be fast and easy
I made a zippered one for my mother - it is a bit small for her glasses - now I have something new to try for her AND the bonus is the cleaning cloth inside 😊. Genius!
Thank you for reminding me that I can make a lightweight yet sturdy eyeglass pouch. I was looking just today for a case for my new 😎 Thanks I put back the foam at Wal-Mart wow Lois
This is great Laura. Could you consider a double eye glass case? An American friend had one (store bought) that was great for holding sunglasses and reading glasses in the same pouch but I've not been able to find a similar design. I really enjoy your videos and have made gifts using some of your designs.
Very good instructions for a great easy gift. I might figure out how to include an additional pocket inside to hold the little spritzer bottle of glass cleaner sometimes given out at the optician's office. Now to find a source for the fine microfiber cloths ... yours was pretty cute.
Great tutorial. I have the need for a glass case, but I have 2 PAIR, I wiil add another pocket for my reading glasses and use the base for my sun glasses. The reading glasses are in their own hard case but it is small and tends to get lost in the bottomless pit called," the purse." This with an outside pocket added at the time of quilting can add the extra pocket. I will let you know how it works out. Thanks again.
Great tutorial. Should be easy to sew a pocket into the lining before assembling. And a loop with a key fob to attach to a loop of a bigger bag or hang at home.
I am always trying to find something fun to send to friends granny camp for her grandchildren (16 to 6 months)... I think this will be it for 2019 with great sunglasses... Thanks
She gave the measurements for the foam at the beginning of the video. The fabric will be slightly bigger than the foam. Of course the size will vary depending on the size of the glasses. :)
Genious to sew in the cleaning cloth . I wonder if you could design a glasses case with a magnet in? Please it'd be handy to pop them on the fridge door when you get home. I have lost my distance glasses . At the moment I've been hooking my reading glasses on a mandala I crocheted on my wall next to my bed , it works but I've lost the case that came with them , I find them better suited as needle cases . I think I got that idea from you actually . I glued an old fish tank magnet to the bottom ,cover it in fabric and nothing falls out even if I drop it .
It's so helpful with well demostration of the process. What is the name of white material which was sew in between decorative pattern fabric? Thank you.
I use one to store needles, snips, thimble, floss for a small embroidery project. To take as a small sewing kit when traveling. And Now, when I get new glasses I am looking at the case they offer in an entirely new light....how might I use this case I the future?
Lori Kennedy has a blog post about using Crayola markers for free motion quilting, and shows her testing of how ell it washes out. You can find it at lorikennedyquilts.com/the-best-marking-pen-for-machine-quilting/. They are about the only markers I use now!
I had an eyeglass case that had a pocket that 'wrapped' around to the front. The pocket was perfect to tuck in a packaged eyeglass wipe. For the life of me I couldn't figure out how it was engineered. Cud you come up with something like that? It had a foam liner. The seams were not sewn. They were bound w some type of industrial binding. I can't use cloth glass wipes. My skin is too oily and causes smears on the lens. Dr's office said use pkgd wipes between using a degreasing dish soap for a thorough wash. Working in a hot factory makes it worse. HELP!
I read this as “glass eye” and I swear I sat here for 20 seconds trying to figure out if people with glass eyes need a carrying pouch 🤣 I’m lol’ing at myself.
I love watching your videos because they’re so helpful but hearing you say bobkin drives me batty. It’s boDkin. B O D K I N. You keep saying B O B K I N. Please correct that.
sorry about that I will try. Some words are hard for me to say as I had hearing troubles as a child and do not know if I have said it correct or not. I will work on that word. thanks :)
SewVeryEasy No worries. I’m overly anal when it comes to pronunciations. I’ve been told I was an English teacher in a past life. LOL You do great work. 😃 Thank you for what you do.

Dollar Tree has large microfiber eye glass cloths- how about an inside pocket to hold individual packets of alcohol wipes?
Such a cute idea.
Great video!
I love this.
Good ideas, Laura.
Fabulous!
Great tutorial!
Best eyeglasses bag ever!

So pretty
Great idea very original
I love ❤️ it thanks for the tip
Lovely surprse!
Darn cute!
Nice! A zipper foot would be helpful to sew close to the foam.
Great video. I like the drawstring but I haven't seen the gadget that holds it. Also, nice nails and love the polish.
Doris P.... I ordered 100 from Amazon when I was making masks. They are used on kid’s shoe laces.
Awesome mam
love it
That’s a great idea
I have a build-in key chain I made with a ribbon inside so I can take just my reading glasses to shul instead of having to take the keys separately.
I am always trying to find something fun to send to friends granny camp for her grandchildren (16 to 6 months)... I think this will be it for 2019 with great sunglasses... Thanks
Nifty!
could you tell me the exact measurements you used? Thanks great video and i love your teaching style and calm voice. nice and pleasant to listen to

I have a bunch of stoppers left over from masks. Can’t wait to make one of these eyeglass cases.
I've searched for the sewable foam, but I can't find it. Can you tell me where you bought your sewable foam please? I love your videos!
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤️💋
It needs a pocket for the eyeglasses spray cleaner too.
What store carries this foam you are using? 😃 😃 😃
🤗
what material is good for making cleaning clothes?
What size is the cleaning cloth? Is the cleaningcloth a scrap of fabric or a special type of fabric? Thank You!

What store did you get it from?
Cheryl Grider looks like Bosal In R Form. Great stuff.
What width is the twine please?
