The making of a baroqueframe, italian modell. It is made in walnut and then it has a innerprofile wich is handcarved and finally gilded. It is one of our specially made frames in antique style, customized for a baroque painting.

Incredible craftsman ship. You must be very proud. Most people will not take the time to sharpen a blade or chisel, much less use one.

The walnut is treated with linseed oil and then wax, that will give it a dark and deep shining surface.

I loved watching the woodcarver. It's almost meditative. How the heck did they make the outer part of the frame so dark? Did I miss that bit?
