Restaurants don't train servers | This is the real training you never got
#forserversbyservers
Most restaurants don’t provide much training, and most servers never thrive. Our attitude is this: better training leads to better performance. With better performance comes better money and a less-often considered benefit: a better time. That’s important.
It doesn’t matter if you’re only doing this job on the weekend until you finish school, you should have a reasonably good time doing it. At the very least, not a miserable one, because this job really is miserable if you suck at it, and it can be pretty fun if you’re good at it.
This is for servers by servers designed to set you up for success and do a better job. Not for your boss or manager, not for your guest, but for you: the server. Enjoy.

THIS IS SO DAMN TRUE I wanted to start working and found a banquette job and they didn't even teach me anything and I had to learn through other ppl doing it 😭
damn I start today and that's not what I want to hear 😭😨
Really appreciate you taking the time to do up these tutorials although you didn't have to! You could totally have gotten paid for these but instead you decided to do them for free, thank you so much for your efforts its really helpful to so many people looking to be a temp server!

Great Video ! Great Chanel ! Thanks Guys !
I appreciate what you doing man not all Hero’s were capes some wear aprons 💪🏼
haha this is great thanks for watching!
Great stuff
Me as a head chef i fully agree that a good trained server could grow and make a career of serving if they put the work in and take some pride in what they are doing its a hard job
Appreciate your comment! My attitude is you’re far better off getting good at serving even if it’s temporary.
This channel is solid AF.
Thanks man
My biggest issue is relaying the info from my pad onto the POS system, these little mistakes I make like a side of fries makes me much less confident
You can try this system and see if it works for you: ua-cam.com/video/h0njYgVxNVE/v-deo.html
Done
I really wish there was an easier way for you to make money off of this. I've been a server for awhile but i still watched all of your videos and the advice is all spot on and easy to understand. Maybe you could do something with affiliate links with like server books, aprons, pens, etc. That way you can recommend what you use and then you get some money if they purchase the products.
Also you exude BDE lol i just had to tell you 😂
Yo thanks for watching. And sincerely appreciate that you too wish I could monetize this better. lol I've racked my brain for years about how to monetize. I mean what do you sell servers? No money selling pens/ aprons. Truth is I'm just happy to have created something cool that people watch.
Affiliate links to my favorite work clothes, nice pants, shoes, watches, etc is definitely on my radar.
Current model is licensing a new program I built to restaurants with customized learning tracks (menu, etc)... digital training solutions.
I just uploaded more today. not sure if you've seen ALL of it yet but I think it's a solid free course. Hope you find some cool videos you hadn't seen already in the playlist.
Hi Patrick I send you a warm hug from Colombia ! Thank you for your Videos !! You are the best waiter teacher !! Would it be better to train my self as a barista or bartender also ? in order to find more and better oportunites or is better just to focus on being a good waiter/Server ?
Thank you! Glad you found these. Train to bartend for sure! No money to be made in a coffee shop. I’d get comfortable serving/ working in restaurants first then ask to be trained on bar.
hello! Loved this especially the ending! I’ve been applying & interested in serving for a while but wanted to know possible tips.
