I think its definitely expensive and I would likely have to invest in a fingerprint ID locked lunchbox with is around +3$ a month probably. The question is if it actually makes me more productive , if yes then maybe its worth the price because then I earn more money. 420$ is around what I paid for a small apartment out in the country so the only advantage Wework provides is that it is at a city-center which is important for meetings and the promise of having a place without smoking or loud music. That said I now pay rent of 858$ with quiet neighbor's and enough space to make my own workroom , its out in the country though but that shouldn't matter if I only work online anyways(and in the small community I rent at there is also a decent looking large meeting hall that I could probably rent for cheap during the day if I really really need). So I think Wework caters to a very specific high-end industry where software is mixed with officially official business with city center people who need to be very close to industry. And it also caters to people who are willing to pay extra for that high-tech office experience that might help them stay productive and do networking. All that so long as Wework is a decent environment without harassment. I know that in many countries it goes without saying, but I think that in some places it might not be something to take for granted.
Only beneficial thing of such workplaces is networking opportunities if there are any, otherwise any city library will serve the purpose (for atleast short terms) for individuals working independently. But it could be good option for small start-up companies.
2021 June Update: WeWork is doing a free 1 month trail and then it's $299/MO after that (in NYC at least). So far I'm loving it & exploring WeWorks across NYC
There's no way I would be able to focus in a coworking space. That main room with your desk was so loud compared to the offices I've been in. It's interesting as a concept on paper but it doesn't sound like it functions all that great
It's more about being in a place of work.. at home your surrounded with tv, spouses, kids, dogs, video games, staring at the wall and contemplating life. But investing into a place that's dedicated for work would theoretically exponentially increase productivity and creativity. Not to mention that for such a small investment you'll be around so many other professionals to network with. You know they say it's not what you know it's who you know.
Jonathan Barclay coffee shops are good for a short-term work, but when you gotta work for 5+ hours per day, it’s not viable to keep ordering stuff without the shop’s staff prompting you to leave and also dealing with noises and poor Wifi
@@ndrimova Very true but someday this will be a thing here bit right now most people I see doing things remotelt from there houses. Atleast in Pittsburgh.
Coffe shops are ok for a few hours once in a while but that’s not a proper work environment in terms of quiet space , own space , professional environment
This seems odd to me. Is parking included in the pricing and do companies rent out long leases or just use it for seasonal overflow? How is security handled and do companies have their own server rooms and IT staff...or do they rent that from WeWork as well?
This was a good one review and glimpse at WeWork Office Space. This was really interesting to me after watching Bloomberg Quicktake on the "The Spectacular Rise and Fall of WeWork" series (super interesting, I recommend it). Thank you for sharing this video from a customer perspective :)
Nice video Luba. How would you compare WeWork with competitors like Spaces etc please? Is there anything special about WeWork? Does it match the hypes in the mainstream media?? Thanks. :)
You can slow down the video mate. There are options to make the video 0.75 - 0.25 slower, but mostly people sound drunk when you do that, so be aware of that :-) However I don't think it would be a great idea for her to speak slower, just because one or two people don't understand english well. Sorry, but I had to be honest. Just turn on the subtitles or slow down the video.
Do you think the pricing for this coworking is reasonable?
It's within Budget

No; I guess I’ll stick to Starbucks.

Thank you for the video, and I've got to say, I love your style! Considering WeWork for my small team
So great to see another Software Engineer UA-camr! You inspire me so much! 💖 Looking forward to the next video!
Maya Bello thank you!!!
Unfortunately the we work business model is not sustainable.
I believe that cowork concept still develop more in the future.
in what way is it unsustainable? Despite the prices, are they operating at a loss to "capture the market" or something like that?
@@zptro6316 because business model.
Costs are very high

So you can have the illusion of having a massive office and a one man operation can look as if it's part of something bigger.

Honestly in Pittsburgh people just use the coffee shops and parks for this. It could possibly work in the future.

Great for Tokyo... There is huge culture over there surrounding tiny spaces.

I have never worked at WeWork before. But maybe I will try it soon

Some of the public libraries provide conference room for free.but sounds like a good place to meat people.
I watch a UA-cam video to figure out what's going on in my own office 😂 ...2020
BTW Luba, can we get a video about how you handle tough situations!
can you do a review for a wework in London?
So do they not provide monitors at any desks?
Maybe for the conference room offices
Very interesting I learned a bit have a stellar day everyone!
that's the one thing that wework is better than libraries...you can eat at wework but not inside a library
Love it keep up the work!

Hi Luba, big fan of yours, keep it up :)
sandeep gaur thank you!
I really like the idea of coworking. I just don’t think WeWork thought things through enough
It's improved a lot since the new acquisition. Deals make this much more attractive and practical
300 dollars for a desk .......eh if people are paying why not charge that of not more
The poison booths that they had to take out. Look it up.
Is a “poison booth” really a thing?
Hmmm We Work would have crashed during the pandemic anyway, no?

This shit looks underwhelming.
Most definitely not worth it and now the underhanded tactics are being exposed
Could you speak more slowly, I'm just starting to learn English. 😆
