Regus told me there's unlimited coffee in the lounge area, but didn't tell me they added a $30 monthly coffee/lounge membership fee to my account. There's no privacy if you sign up for a private office. The help desk ladies inspect the office without notice, and cleaning staff will enter without knocking. There's no IT help desk. The clueless front-desk ladies who's job it is to poor your coffee, double as "IT Support". Lastly, Regus is not an actual property management company. They are actually tenants who sublease office space. The real property managers are Regus' landlord. If you need help from the property manager, then Regus staff will call them for you. This place is a joke.
I work there, employees don't have any help or anyone who has our back. Our support systems are outsourced to people with a language barrier. Our printer hasn't worked for a month. Half my day is spent in our kitchen, I didn't take the job to be a maid.
I have been with Regus for more than 6 years. They have a very good set up compared to their competitors. It has the right look and feel. HOWEVER, the location I've been with is completely un-acountable if things go wrong. They refuse to provide any managers if you run into issues. They simply say, "sorry, that is how i it is". A real issue will probably require you to hire legal help for resolution. Document everything. Make sure ALL correspondence is in writing (includes email). If you end up needing to solve things in a legal setting, words won't matter too much. No matter how nice the front desk people are, remember. they work for Regus, not you.
I just toured an office in Lake Nona, Orland FL. It was 2K per month for an office the size of my closet. Me and my partner looked at each other and was like this is a major rip-off. For 4k to 5k per month, we can get a very large dedicated office. I think that is the route we will be taking. No way will we use them. We plan on hiring several employees. FYI their is nothing wrong with working from home. We have done this for years. I can see maybe a full virtual office for privacy and that is it.
I am sorry you had this experience , it’s sounds part of the issue was a poor location manager with a lack of customer focus at the Regus HQ. However I am surprised you didn’t do more research on Regus aka Spaces aka IWG - many similar stories out there.
With all due respect, there is no way of calling the Helpdesk rather a ticketing system. I am not sure if you are trying to make the review more exciting but that's the wrong information. Also, there is no charge for WiFi and you can opt out of Coffee charges as it is an ADDITIONAL service. :)
DO NOT use this company period. This is the worst company with regards to communication. I set up with them back before the pandemic. When the pandemic hit and it was time to renew I cancelled the renewal via email because everything was shut down. I had them keep billing me and telling me that I did not follow proper protocol with cancelling. I asked via emails and phone calls that they send me where on the contract it says how to cancel. I did not receive anything and I cancelled within the 30 days. I did not sign anything. And this was all done virtually. I am now being sued for $4000 give or take because they do NOT know what the other departments are doing. They are a very dis organized company and I will have to now hire an attorney to dispute this. This is from 3 years ago. Truth be told I would not even give them a 1 rating.......
Oh my god, I am having a similar experience. What is wrong with their non-cancellation policy even a minute after signing a contract? Is that even legal? No wonder a class action has been filed against Regus.
I am going through this right now ! I’m going to dispute the transaction. Were you able to get your money back? They put in a ticket for my refund and then the agent told me “sadly we are unable to refund you.” Go figure !
Yesterday I was about to buy with them but when I have to pay it's not good all with the fees and other things they have there. So, I didn't buy with them. Thanks for sharing
I signed a lease for March 14 2020 in New York City. By March 19th 2020 ( 5 days later) the pandemic hit and a worldwide executive order was executed. I never got keys. I never got an office because I didn’t make a payment. A year later, I got a collection call that stated that I had a balance of over $13,000.00 - 😮. How? Yes I signed the lease but I didn’t PAY and I was never appointed to a suite, I never got keys. I have a growing balance with Regus for a suite that I never occupied space for! Ridiculous!
hello I am going through it with them. were you able to term your contract. if so can you provide some info. I have called several times and they only give me a ticket number . I already cancel my visa and summited a claim. I can't get through them
It sounds like you rented from a space that was still being built out which was a bad idea. It could have happened with any plug in office provider (WeWork, Stage - also IWG subsidiary etc.) Ideally you only want to rent private office and office support services from a fully built space with plenty of members and tenants. Did you consider going the virtual office route instead? Your reasons for getting an office seemed perception based and a virtual office membership would fulfill those needs at less cost and headache.
DagmarSLNY Strangely enough it was actually a well established location, they just didn’t have the office ready from when the last tenant used it! I was thinking of doing the virtual office space, but wanted a place that my employees could work and clients could come meet me at.
Regus is a horrible scam. Harming me badly and I’m about to sue them. Do not ever use the scam called “Regus”. I can back up all this with facts. They are con artists. Do not give them your bank info.

Do not use them!!! Especially dont use Mountlake Terrace Office space. If you need help you are stuck, they will not share their supervisor information. They don't respect agreement and you retainer will not be refunded within 30 days. They don't care about customers just look how to get money from you. If you care about your business and money stay away from these people!!!
