- Steam Deck Oled VS Lenovo Legion Go - don’t know what to choose? Which one is better? Watch this
#SteamDeckOled #LenovoLegionGo-MGT #LegionGo - Ігри
One review will recommend Steam Deck, another will recommend Legion Go. BOTH are highly recommended, and neither one wins overall.
I have the Oled and Legion Go will be here Saturday. This video had perfect timing. I’m thinking I will love them both.
Oh congrats! Let me know how you feel and which one you end up staying with!
@@aliawada3553 it’s really great. Took a couple days to set up and windows has its challenges but so far I’m in love. My Oled isn’t going anywhere but I feel like the legion go has a long life ahead of it. 😊
So which one do you like better and why?
I have both of these and it is a hard decision. The Go screen is more immersive but the OLED software is waaaaaaayyy better. It really depends on how you will end up using it. I play more in my home so battery life isn't that big a deal and the Go has enough power to push the higher resolution and dock to my TV or monitor. My deck always seems to struggle a little bit if I'm pushing some things on a bigger screen past 720p
I now have both and it hasn't been a day but I already miss Steam OS. Windows can be a bit finicky on a handheld though it offers more flexibility. I'm still thinking if I should keep the deck
The reason I upgraded to rthe Steam Deck was because of Steam OS, otherwise, I would have gone with the Legion GO.
Bigger screen and portable controllers = lenovo. Lower screen resolution but oled and better battery and easier to pick up and play = steam deck
Great video!
As someone who's done a full cycle of trying out handhelds, I liked the legion go a lot but disliked how slow they are with updates and etc.. so i went ahead and returned it and bought the deck oled instead.
I've always wanted to go back to the legion go, but I feel like perhaps at this point maybe i should wait for a "refreshed" version?
What are your thoughts and what would be your recommendation? Deck Oled -> Legion Go or just stick to the deck oled for now? (Just an fyi - i have no issues navigating around windows and stuff.
Thanks!
EDIT: Lol, i just bought it from best buy! (1TB version). Thankfully, i have 90 day return period.. but i think i'll like the legion go more now than i did before.
Same here 😂 I bought it when it first came out didn't really like it so I return it. Now I just purchased it last week again and I am really enjoying it more than the deck.
I agree with everything you said bro love my steam deck but the legion go is amazing and not taking away from the steam deck I still love it I use the legion more for AAAa gaming it’s a beast
I have both and are amazing
The best combo is buy both (or an ally).
Talking about resolution, what is the point of the Legion Go’s much higher resolution? Literally just how many AAA games is it capable of running at decent frame rates and graphics settings at the native resolution huh? There was a reason Valve went with the lower resolution, because none of these devices can handle big games with high resolutions and decent graphics settings.
You're right, but launch one of the games on Geforce Now with Go's native resolution (with ultimate plan). Only the lack of an OLED screen with HDR support prevents me from calling this device ideal for this service.
I can play a few games and virtually all indie games on 2.5k res. Also makes 800p better because it has a perfectly proportioned screen for integer scaling
It does make a difference when you see both in person. The OLED colors are better though but resolution is better on the Go with higher frames
It's not all about gaming. You can use the Legion as a tablet to watch multimedia as a high resolution on a bigger screen.
Both look great! I feel like anyone would be pleased with either device! It's incredible to see all of these portable PC type gaming devices coming out!
Guys I don’t have any handheld devices so I don’t know what to choose and I’m planning to buy one what I worry about if there a big difference between of the processor of steam deck oled and legion game what I worry about is the battery life I want at least 3-4 hours gameplay with out worry about the battery life and Most of my game are indie game on steam and crymachina , Spiderman miles morales and granblue relink ,devil may cry 5 and final fantasy vii remake so I worry if steam deck can run this games without problems I’m mostly worry about last 5 games that I talk about if the device can run the games without any problems if it’s can I think about steam deck oled for the battery so can u guys help me make up my mind please?
3-4 hours of gameplay?! Get a PC! Anyways it's sort of possible with a steam deck oled or rog ally x because they have big battery the last time I checked steam deck oled lasted around 2 hrs playing AAA games if ur goal is to do 4 hours AND NO MORE THAN 4 HOURS JUST BELOW 4 HOURS ONLY. Then a steam deck with a power bank will suffice.
@@tggorudon2551 first of all thanks you for recommending steam deck oled for me and the reason that I don’t buy gaming pc because I have no space in my room for it my bed take the whole room so I don’t have space to sit and play on pc
Deck oled and it’s not even close
I use Rog Ally and have no reason to switch to Steam Deck OLED or Legion Go. VRR does a hell of a lot.
And you are here watching a video that doesn't talk about ally 😂
@@hk6926 It doesn't matter. I can write a comment.
I own all 3 and enjoy them all.
The answer is Yes. The better one of the two is Yes. If I had to choose one or the other, the answer is still Yes.
720p baby screen, there you go easiest decision ever. It could have OLED from 2086, it's 720p and minuscule there's no point to owning a Steam Deck over a Rog Ally or Legion Go.
Is your steam deck really oled, I though the colors around the joystick were in orange ?
Limited edition OLED is orange, regular oleds are all black. Lcd is gray
@@edj9013 ok thanks for the clarification
If you don't have a steam deck then jump straight to the Go, if you have a steam deck it's not worth the upgrade just yet, another generation or two then maybe.
the 8840u in the latest one x is significantly more powerful and it's more powerful than steam deck at 10w
so the oled panel with hdr doesn't make any diffrent, sad
In ‘his’ opinion.
if i wanna play no man's sky and death stranding, what should i get, do you have any recommendation ?
I have the legion go and I love it
I can't go back to my steam deck after legion go (the screen size really matters)
My friend said that size doesn't matter
@@evansmatt8193she lied
I don't see difference on the screen side by side
In person you definitely will
@@nickydee569in person you will notice especially the dark scenes.
Dear Sir , most of gamers looking for high resolution high pexels , i know Oled more colorful but Lenovo screen also has fantastic color , so Oled its not big binifit , Lenovo has award comutiny awards , with Lenovo you can use it as a tablet as a pc its windows not close system like steam , if you are talking about battery, yes lenovo is bad but also Oled with big game its give you one hour more ? You can use power bank or direct to charge cable , outside i think 1 hour to 2 hours its enough you will not sleeep outside home to say that no charging , Lenovo also has 2 USB type c so this is big big binifit , what else FPS mode you can , i saw alot of game had played by you on lenovo there were very very nice playing experience, i dont know why you are going for steam deck??
What is binifit? Also you cannot compare OLED to LCD. LCD looks so dull compared to OLED.
You are talking about 2k okay high resolution , go to ask the gamers about 8.8 inches then come to say Steam deck has OLED , also ask them how is big fun they had for using Lenovo legion go screen specially in shooter gaming , again , Lenovo the best it's not only game device , it's one for everything @@evansmatt8193
@@evansmatt8193 I prefer sharper image than richer color. Benefit of having a sharper image due to higher resolution is you can easily see the detail specially for small text. OLED is better than LCD if it has the same resolution but 800p OLED vs 1080p or 1600p LCD then I would say LCD is better by a mile.
@@nathanjuan6042 it's handheld..it's for casual gaming, to me battery Is more important than fidelity.
Sorry, but you’re wrong, OLED is always better then LCD.
I'm using OLED Deck but I find Legion Go's screen has better display quality.
Rog ally is honestly better than this two. Better audio, better feel in the hands (ergonomically light), better display the only native landscape vrr display 1080P, no compatibility issues like changing integer scaling because the screen is too big or the resolution has to go down from 1600P of legion go to lower res because it can't sustain performance. Also the last thing of the draw is that the ROG Ally is just plug and play you don't need to check for any steam verification check or proton or whatsoever, all current games can run on rog ally the sd oled can't run Avatar Pandora, Alan Wake 2, Skull and Bones, Dragons Dogma 2
Have fun with your device. You don’t need to convince us that you have the best device.
@@MGTMaxGamesTech But you just made a 38 minute video telling us the Legion Go is the ‘best’ device so what’s the difference?
Go shill somewhere else MGT isn’t even talking about the Ally
I have Sd oled, rog ally, and legion go and i use mostly Go and Sd oled
