I like what you said about efficiency. It’s not that Yahweh isn’t efficient, it’s that WE aren’t efficient. But He is patient and wants us to participate. He has Plan A and only Plan A, and He’s gonna stick to only plan A. It takes two to tango because that’s how He wants it to be, but we keep dropping the ball. But like I said, He’s sticking to Plan A. There never was a Plan B.
These videos/sermons are incredible. I have learned more from this man than anyone else about the spiritual realm and how we can understand it, understand scripture in context of the time and culture, and how to relate to God with a proper understanding of him and his character. He has been blessed with a gift to make the indescribable understandable.

@Kevin Belgrove the original scriptures weren’t written in English so by that standard you better learn Hebrew, but also Greek since the new testament was written in Greek. The original texts of the new testament called Him Ioseus not Yeshua, Yeshua is just the name scholars believe he would have been called in his culture. But if you read that scripture you quoted and your takeaway is that the name we say is more important than putting our faith in the person of Christ then you are missing the point. I assume you are a Messianic Jew based on your insistence on Hebrew, but as I said, keep in mind the Book of Acts was written in Greek as were the Pauline epistles and used names Greeks could read in their alphabet which didn’t include the sh sound from Yeshua. Please continue to use Hebrew names if that is what you prefer, but all of us who follow the savior sent by the God of Israel regardless of the language we use will one day be together in Heaven. Born-again 3 years ago at 50 years old. The indwelling of the Holy Spirit causes me to almost constantly watch Christian UA-cam channels. The Bible Project is an incredible resource, but “Tim Mackie Archives” is an incredible treasure. His knowledge of Ancient Hebrew and his earnestness allow me to trust his exegesis. No human has perfect exegesis, but Mackie avoids common pitfalls and has passion for our triune God. May God continue to bless him. May the Holy Spirit continue to work through Dr. Mackie always pointing us to Jesus. Thank you so much.

And remember when his Lord had Abraham go through trying circumstances with His commands, and he fulfilled them. Then He said, “I have appointed you an exemplary leader for all mankind.” He asked, “And of my offspring (will there be exemplary leaders as well)?” He replied, “My Covenant does not include the wrongdoers.”
We believe in God, and the revelation that has been given to us, and (the surviving truth) in what was sent down to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, as well as the Tribal Israelite Prophets and in what was given to Moses and Jesus and to all Prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction among them (since all of them were one in purpose and they got their guidance from the One True God). And for Him, we are Muslimoon” (Muslims, submitters to God alone, guardians of peace. 2:132, 22:78). 137 So if they come to believe as you believe, then they will be rightly guided. Outstanding Pastor Tim Mackie, way to have the courage and conviction to speak Biblical truth, especially in a day and age where true Christianity is under attack. The Church needs more men like you to stand for the truth and remain faithful to his spoken and written word. To God be the Glory. Amen

Jesus did claim to be God. Many times. Here are two examples. Exodus 3:14 “And God said unto Moses, I Am That I Am: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I Am hath sent me unto you.” John 8:58-59 “Jesus said unto them, ‘Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.’ Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.” John 10:30-33 “ ‘I and my Father are one.’ Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. Jesus answered them, ‘Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?’ The Jews answered him, saying, ‘For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.’ “
@@cheshirekat1023 none of that explicitly means what you want it to mean. Being one with someone is an expression still used to mean being close. Being there before someone doesnt mean you're god. Stop reaching. Jesus talks about god in 3rd person and prays to god.

What you were saying around 39:18 resonated with me so much because since I started following Elohim I have never in my life felt so much my self and that life has just flowed through me. So according to Tim Mackie all the prophets and messengers from Moses, Aaron, and Jushua to Haggai, Zachariah, and Malachi got YHVH wrong!!! But lo and behold Paul discovers the "true" nature of YHVH where all those Israelite prophets couldn't!!! YHVH is mentioned about 6800 times in Old Testament. But how come YHVH's "son" is nowhere to be found near those 6800 times. YHVH having a "son" that will later come "in flesh" to redeem mankind through "blood ritual sacrifice" is a huge thing, how could YHVH fail to mention his "son", after all YHVH is the Creator of everything in the Creation, how come He didn't mention His "son" to Moses and other prophets? To “tolerate” something or someone means by its very definition to allow a differing view or belief to exist while not altering my own stance. This fundamentally agrees with what Tim says here. Tolerance does not mean being absorbed into a pluralistic society, tossed about by every wind/wave of doctrine that others purport, but instead to allow others their view point while all the while standing FIRMLY and lovingly, upon my own conviction. Always ready to give an answer for my belief. Nice job Tim.

Mitchell C No, Jesus is God. The Holy Spirit, The Father, and The son are collectively God. The 3 in 1. If Jesus was not God, then how could his sacrifice save the whole of humanity? If Everyone is born in sin, how was Jesus so pure that he could overcome death? Jesus is God. Claiming Jesus is not God, means that we can become equivalent to Jesus. If we could have become equivalent to Jesus the whole time, then there would be no use for Jesus’s sacrifice. God the Father would have just killed everyone and resurrected them if it was that simple. Jesus is God.

Angel Racing I know it's been a while since you posted but I feel it's my Christian duty to inform you that Tim is NOT correct. The only thing that is true, is God's name is Yahweh. The Hebrew word for Lord is adoni 1Chr 21:3 and Ps.136:3 "la adone ha adonim" "Lord of lords". Just because you capitalize it, doesn't change it to Yahweh. Ask yourself why some bible writers take out the divine name and change it to LORD. Doesn't the bible say not to add or take away anything? Honestly I can't believe the blatant misguided long winded lecture he's giving accept to suck people in that won't research or think for themselves. 1Cor. 8:5,6 one God, our father, and one Lord, Jesus. Notice not all capitalized. Food for thought....John 10:30 "I and the father are one"- Mark 10:8 "and the two shall become one flesh". Mitchell C Many thnx, The church here, I can’t really call it ‘my’ church because in my point of view the Pastor doesn’t live and teach according to Jesus’s teachings. But they do teach the Trinity and after many praying and watching a lot of pastors online who explain the teaching of the Trinity and after reading the Bible many times over and focusing on Jesus and his teachings I couldn’t for example find anywhere that Yahweh is obedient. I know He is humble, He have shown that many times. Especially with Moses. But Jesus is obedient. I’m still looking for a good pastor or website purely based on the Bible and the teachings of Jesus. Do you maybe have any suggestions? There’s no church in my area that I can attend unfortunately, I’ve looked around.

this is the third time I have watched this, it is so amazing that I am in the middle of the triangle of love (see part 1). This "hebrew grammar lesson" also gives me a little more depth to one of my favourite verses - John 14 v20 . Been there with that knowledge about God, but after years of confusion God revealed the "Oneness of God" to me, through His Spirit that lead me to read a certain portion of Scripture in John 10:30 that the Father and Jesus are "One". And like Cornelius God sent someone to confirm my faith. God is one, numerically, indivisibly one. That's the first commandment in Deuteronomy 6:4-6.

Much of Jesus's suffering on the cross was due to his separation from the father. and often hell fire is metaphorical. is it not fair to say that the spiritual suffering we experience apart from God can be compared to the pain of physically fire? is it not possible to experience some of that while and earth? Exactly, there is a difference in the bible between LORD and Lord or God and a god. Jesus gives an example how to pray, he said - Matthew 6:9,10 NIV: " 9 “This, then, is how you should pray: “‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, 10 your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven." He didn't say our will be done and which name should be hallowed: Fathers name: YAHWEH.

But the story about the burning tree and God telling Moses to take off his sanddles is not about how dirty his sanddles are, it is a cultural norm in those days as a way to say that I have no authority hear. In fact in the book of Ruth Abimalik asked the next of kin to relinquish his responsibility toward Ruth and he did that by taking off his saddles. It is a cultural sign submitting authority to another. Hope this helps :)
Cultural attributes are always part of it but the meaning behind why we do certain things is as strong so why we take shoes off makes sense for not taking impurities in a pure space which a lot of cultures adopt when entering home/ church etc..

These are good questions and comments but, it doesn't matter if Jesus is the God of the bible or the Son of Yahweh because in Matthew 15:24 Jesus proclaims that he "only came for the lost sheep of the house of Israel". That is no one alive today. In Hebrews 9:15, the Apostle Paul teaches that, "redemption was for sins committed under the first covenant (the Old Covenant). Matthew 5:18 says the Old Covenant passed away at the end of the Old Covenant system which took place in AD 70, which means there is no Old Covenant Law today and in Romans 5:13, the Apostle Paul said, "where there is no (Old Covenant) Law, sin is not imputed". This of course means that salvation was only needed by those who had sin imputed to them, which is no one alive today. Only Israelites were loved by Yahweh per Ps.147:19-20, Jeremiah 31:31 &33, Amos 3:2, Deut.7:6-7. Jesus considered all non-Israelites "dogs" as in Mathew 15:21-26, the story of the Canaanite woman and her demon-possessed daughter. Today's self-proclaiming "christians" have been duped by a misappropriated redemptive narrative appearing soon AFTER AD 70. It's been a circus of error ever since.
It's wonderful that you have many questions that you crave the answer to. Our fallen human brains cannot comprehend the fullness let alone all the ways of the Lord - and so we wrestle with lots of questions, including the ones you pose, sometimes throughout our lives. If I may, I recommend asking God your questions and pouring over the Scriptures in their context of the books and the Bible as a whole to be a starting point (this is assuming you have declared with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and Savior and believed in your heart). Praying for God to send mature Biblical Christians that will walk and wrestle alongside you through your questions is an added request you could make as well. As for food for thought: Hebrews 1:3; Isaiah 42:8; Isaiah 52:13-53:13; Matthew 9:2-8; John 3:16; 1 Peter 2:18-25, Hebrews 7:24-25; Romans 3:10-18, 3:23, 6:23, 5:8, 10:9, 10:13, 8:1; Acts 4:12. For me, it's always been helpful to remember that God is jealous and He will not be mocked; He will not surrender His glory to another or His praise to idols. There's no "sharing the spotlight," remember Deuteronomy 6:4-5 which Jesus says in Mark 12:29-30: "Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength." May you seek the Lord and in His will and timing receive the answers that will truly satisfy. Lord in Hebrew is "adoni" 1Chr 21:3 or "la adone ha adonim"- "Lord of lords" Ps. 136:3. It doesn't magically change to Yahweh when you capitalize it. @Kevin Belgrove the original scriptures weren’t written in English so by that standard you better learn Hebrew, but also Greek since the new testament was written in Greek. The original texts of the new testament called Him Ioseus not Yeshua, Yeshua is just the name scholars believe he would have been called in his culture. But if you read that scripture you quoted and your takeaway is that the name we say is more important than putting our faith in the person of Christ then you are missing the point.
I assume you are a Messianic Jew based on your insistence on Hebrew, but as I said, keep in mind the Book of Acts was written in Greek as were the Pauline epistles and used names Greeks could read in their alphabet which didn’t include the sh sound from Yeshua. Please continue to use Hebrew names if that is what you prefer, but all of us who follow the savior sent by the God of Israel regardless of the language we use will one day be together in Heaven. So according to Tim Mackie all the prophets and messengers from Moses, Aaron, and Jushua to Haggai, Zachariah, and Malachi got YHVH wrong!!! But lo and behold Paul discovers the "true" nature of YHVH where all those Israelite prophets couldn't!!!
YHVH is mentioned about 6800 times in Old Testament. But how come YHVH's "son" is nowhere to be found near those 6800 times. YHVH having a "son" that will later come "in flesh" to redeem mankind through "blood ritual sacrifice" is a huge thing, how could YHVH fail to mention his "son", after all YHVH is the Creator of everything in the Creation, how come He didn't mention His "son" to Moses and other prophets? Why did it had to fall on Paul to "discover and preach" about YHVH's "son"?
By the way Tim Mackie does not explain how Judaism sees and understands YHVH, pretty convenient, right? After all YHVH introduces Himself to Jews first, right? What do Jews think about YHVH? What do you, as Christians, think Jews understand YHVH?

There was an Article Published in the Journal of Medicine, published by John Hopkins University of Medicine, entitled "An Experimental Pharmacology Appreciation of Leviticus 11 and Deuteronomy 28" by Dr. Macht PhD.
In the study, they use basic tasks and the results were that every single animal meat that Yahweh forbade was found to be toxic and the list of animals in Yahweh's dietary laws that were allowed was found to be non toxic.
There was a 100% correlation between the list of animals in Yahweh's dietary laws and scientific study.

To “tolerate” something or someone means by its very definition to allow a differing view or belief to exist while not altering my own stance. This fundamentally agrees with what Tim says here. Tolerance does not mean being absorbed into a pluralistic society, tossed about by every wind/wave of doctrine that others purport, but instead to allow others their view point while all the while standing FIRMLY and lovingly, upon my own conviction. Always ready to give an answer for my belief.

Angel Racing I know it's been a while since you posted but I feel it's my Christian duty to inform you that Tim is NOT correct. The only thing that is true, is God's name is Yahweh. The Hebrew word for Lord is adoni 1Chr 21:3 and Ps.136:3 "la adone ha adonim" "Lord of lords". Just because you capitalize it, doesn't change it to Yahweh. Ask yourself why some bible writers take out the divine name and change it to LORD. Doesn't the bible say not to add or take away anything? Mitchell C Many thnx, The church here, I can’t really call it ‘my’ church because in my point of view the Pastor doesn’t live and teach according to Jesus’s teachings. But they do teach the Trinity and after many praying and watching a lot of pastors online who explain the teaching of the Trinity and after reading the Bible many times over and focusing on Jesus and his teachings I couldn’t for example find anywhere that Yahweh is obedient. I know He is humble, He have shown that many times. Especially with Moses. But Jesus is obedient. I’m still looking for a good pastor or website purely based on the Bible and the teachings of Jesus. Do you maybe have any suggestions? There’s no church in my area that I can attend unfortunately, I’ve looked around.

this is the third time I have watched this, it is so amazing that I am in the middle of the triangle of love (see part 1). This "hebrew grammar lesson" also gives me a little more depth to one of my favourite verses - John 14 v20 . This is probably incorrect but for me I now say "in that day, you will know that Yahweh is in Elohim and that you(myself) am in Yahweh and that Ehyeh is in me" Wow, I cannot understand this in this life but it gives me an amazing sense of the presence of the One who is what He is, all time and never changes. Been there with that knowledge about God, but after years of confusion God revealed the "Oneness of God" to me, through His Spirit that lead me to read a certain portion of Scripture in John 10:30 that the Father and Jesus are "One". And like Cornelius God sent someone to confirm my faith. God is one, numerically, indivisibly one. That's the first commandment in Deuteronomy 6:4-6.

Much of Jesus's suffering on the cross was due to his separation from the father. and often hell fire is metaphorical. is it not fair to say that the spiritual suffering we experience apart from God can be compared to the pain of physically fire? is it not possible to experience some of that while and earth? I also am pretty sure it is fair to say that hell is a state of being rather than an actual location. both fire and spiritual separation can be experienced anywhere. these are the kids of things that are sorted out by language scholars, which Tim is.

New testament is in greek so they couldn't write the name YHWH (יהוה yod-hey-vav-hey) so it was the greek word theos
Exactly, there is a difference in the bible between LORD and Lord or God and a god. Jesus gives an example how to pray, he said - Matthew 6:9,10 NIV: " 9 “This, then, is how you should pray:

on earth as it is in heaven."
He didn't say our will be done and which name should be hallowed: Fathers name: YAHWEH.

But the story about the burning tree and God telling Moses to take off his sanddles is not about how dirty his sanddles are, it is a cultural norm in those days as a way to say that I have no authority hear. In fact in the book of Ruth Abimalik asked the next of kin to relinquish his responsibility toward Ruth and he did that by taking off his saddles. It is a cultural sign submitting authority to another. Hope this helps :)

Cultural attributes are always part of it but the meaning behind why we do certain things is as strong so why we take shoes off makes sense for not taking impurities in a pure space which a lot of cultures adopt when entering home/ church etc..

If Jesus was GOD, then why in Mark 12:29 Jesus said "Here, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord." The words "our God" indicate that Jesus had a higher God over him, a stronger God than him. Jesus didn't say
"Your God". He said "our God" which includes Jesus as the creation of GOD.
If Jesus was GOD, then why did he ask for GOD's Forgiveness in Luke 23:34? How can Jesus be GOD Almighty when he asked for GOD's Forgiveness?

These are good questions and comments but, it doesn't matter if Jesus is the God of the bible or the Son of Yahweh because in Matthew 15:24 Jesus proclaims that he "only came for the lost sheep of the house of Israel". That is no one alive today. In Hebrews 9:15, the Apostle Paul teaches that, "redemption was for sins committed under the first covenant (the Old Covenant). Matthew 5:18 says the Old Covenant passed away at the end of the Old Covenant system which took place in AD 70, which means there is no Old Covenant Law today and in Romans 5:13, the Apostle Paul said, "where there is no (Old Covenant) Law, sin is not imputed". This of course means that salvation was only needed by those who had sin imputed to them, which is no one alive today. Only Israelites were loved by Yahweh per Ps.147:19-20, Jeremiah 31:31 &33, Amos 3:2, Deut.7:6-7. Jesus considered all non-Israelites "dogs" as in Mathew 15:21-26, the story of the Canaanite woman and her demon-possessed daughter. Today's self-proclaiming "christians" have been duped by a misappropriated redemptive narrative appearing soon AFTER AD 70. It's been a circus of error ever since.
It's wonderful that you have many questions that you crave the answer to. Our fallen human brains cannot comprehend the fullness let alone all the ways of the Lord - and so we wrestle with lots of questions, including the ones you pose, sometimes throughout our lives. If I may, I recommend asking God your questions and pouring over the Scriptures in their context of the books and the Bible as a whole to be a starting point (this is assuming you have declared with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and Savior and believed in your heart). Praying for God to send mature Biblical Christians that will walk and wrestle alongside you through your questions is an added request you could make as well. As for food for thought: Hebrews 1:3; Isaiah 42:8; Isaiah 52:13-53:13; Matthew 9:2-8; John 3:16; 1 Peter 2:18-25, Hebrews 7:24-25; Romans 3:10-18, 3:23, 6:23, 5:8, 10:9, 10:13, 8:1; Acts 4:12. For me, it's always been helpful to remember that God is jealous and He will not be mocked; He will not surrender His glory to another or His praise to idols. There's no "sharing the spotlight," remember Deuteronomy 6:4-5 which Jesus says in Mark 12:29-30: "Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength." May you seek the Lord and in His will and timing receive the answers that will truly satisfy. If by His will, this I pray in Christ Jesus's name, amen.

Lord in Hebrew is "adoni" 1Chr 21:3 or "la adone ha adonim"- "Lord of lords" Ps. 136:3. It doesn't magically change to Yahweh when you capitalize it. Ask yourself why some bible writers change the divine name to LORD. Don't add or take away anything right. Kind of changes his philosophy on 1Cor doesn't it.
