Now I say "Thank you Father, for marking me so young. I grew up early, so I could become independent early. Thank you for marking me in such a way I would always be reminded to *never cause pain* to others because I know how it makes me feel. Thank you, because I appreciate every friend. I appreciate every bit of kindness I receive, even a smile, as a golden blessing hand delivered to me by You."

Aww babe you are beautiful, I know its hard and it hurts sometimes because the way people look at you. I suffer the same thing and it makes me feel so insecure, doubtful and sometimes not pretty. I just had a moment today where I teared up over it today. But this message hit home. No time to keep questioning or praying for it to be healed. Gods gonna use us for something great.

You know what.... 🎤🎤🎤🎤 If we’re honest with ourselves if many of us (especially me) didn’t have our glitch would we seek God as much as we do? Because we want Him to take our glitches we cry out and beg Him to take it away and in turn He gives us strength to endure it. And a closer relationship with Him because the glitch causes us to fall at His feet. I could go on and on and on!!!

He uses my glitch in order to for me to come closer to him and realize that I need him and to rely on him. Thank you for that. My glitch is my advantage.

I've always best myself up for being shy and an introvert. I've always been mad at God asking him why. As I listened to this I kept asking him well then why did you make me like this, what's the purpose. Then he said that people said Paul wasn't a good communicator but it made him write more, it's why we have scriptures from him. And God has literally been putting it on my heart to be a blogger

Wow. I've always been very shy, insecure & introverted. I used to avoid eye contact and disliked talking to people! But man... how the Holy Spirit has changed me! God’s grace IS sufficient! It is all I need! When I am weak, HIS strength helps me overcome & push past my insecurities! I no longer see my flaws as a weakness, but as an opportunity to TRUST the Lord & OBEY Him at all times. 🙏🏼❤️ Praise the Lord, ALL GLORY TO GOD!
I was out in a position where I was greatly humiliated, but it helped me overcome the spirit of people-pleasing. Freed from the burden of seeming perfect, or that I had it all together. It made me be so much about considering the opinion of GOD more than man. My glitch is my Gift

My heart isnt a glitch its a blessing 🙏🏻 the way I love and have emotions for the ones i truly love isnt a weakness ! It’s beautiful and God gave it to me ! God gave me the emotions that run thru my heart and soul and sometimes hurt me severely … its a blessing , the way people have thrown my heart away and took it for granted and didnt realize the real man I am and was in front if them was a blessing because they weren’t the woman God has for me and it wasnt an accident , it wasnt just cause , it was to teach me that everyone doesn’t deserve the person i am and the person God had made me to be in my future and when I am at my peak and when I am at my highest with God I wont feel the ways i felt when i was hurting by not being loved right and God will grace me with my happiness!!!! God will guide me and take me to my sacred land and keeping my head towards the words , passages , and blessings he has in my life will only build me stronger and help me prosper to be the person he created to me Amen !!! And when I am happy God didnt take how i love away when i wanted him to take it away the most and confused to why i was made to love and i will always cherish the love he has for me and the path he has for me !!! I was there when he preached this and it brought me to a place I did not want to remember and did not want to surrender to God. This situation felt like a thorn in my side because that’s the only form of “ love” I ever received without trying. But I didn’t let go. That day the situation randomly popped up in my life and that is when I spiraled down a dark hole again. I’m revisiting this sermon with a feeling of freedom because I surrendered it to God. I’m glad I got to meet Charles and abby this day, it meant a lot. I wish I was obedient in that season.

This last year (2019) for Christmas I asked my mom for a journal bible from Amazon that you write on the side and take notes and I’ve used it almost everyday and it’s my favorite thing ever!

I’m stepping out in faith and will be attending the opening. Jobless at he moment but God will supply.
If anyone sees this I’d appreciate it so much if you could pray for me. For a little over 6 months now I’ve been in a season of depression and loneliness. I try to see it from God’s perspective and let him use my weakness to give me strength but I still get discouraged and have bad days. It’s hard. When all I want is God and I can’t feel his presence. Please pray that I will be encouraged and see my depression as a gift and not a burden.
Thank you for being so vulnerable, Madelyn. I pray now that God is preparing a place for you. A place where your weakness is a gift to others and encouragement to others who suffer from depression. I pray that what is tormenting you, will begin to mentor you. That God's grace will overshadow you and that His strength and glory will be witnessed through your weakness. Amen.
Madelyn, is there a place where you can volunteer and serve others who might suffer with depression? I asked, because I'm always encouraged when I serve others. Every time I serve the homeless, it reminds me of God's grace and how he has blessed me with a home. I think that you will be inspired by serving others, Madelyn.
Roland Williams Thank you so much for your kind words. I could really use the encouragement right now. And as far as serving others I definitely need to do that more often. I can get prideful sometimes and focus so much on my own problems that I lose focus of others problems. I will figure out a way to do that. I served a lot over the summer with my church which was nice but I haven’t done anything in awhile.
I've been thinking of what to type. I have gone through the same for so long but I don't want to make this about me and prescribe to you what worked for me because I don't know the entirety of your situation. All I can say is... I will most certainly pray for you... and if you ever need to talk about it, you can talk to me.
One last thing. One of my favourite names of God is "The God who sees me" It comes from Genesis, when Haggar had been sent out into the desert to die. She was so distressed, she couldn't bear to see her son die. When an angel of God saved her, she said you are the God who sees me. So trust me, God sees you... and more than that, he cares. When going through difficult times and you can't see what's happening, you will always have many questions you don't have answers to. Just because God allowed it does not mean he wanted it to happen, like the case of Job.
And one absolute last thing. Jesus name is the name above all names. Depression is a name, loneliness is a name, but Jesus name is greater than that.

God’s not trying to torment me He’s trying to mentor me! God is so good! I am so thankful He used Pastor Charles to direct this message toward me and the little cousins we had over to experience TC (and I think church) for the first time!

This is such a powerful message. So much revelation in these 48 mins! I can relate to Paul, strong in writing, but not as gifted in speech. Now I realize all I have to do to end my struggle is to fully surrender it to Jesus.

First of all if you recognize you have a weakness, you are in the right way... Weaknesses reveal to us that we need God , a Strong and Mighty God who can give us grace on looking beyond our weaknesses and trust that God uses them for our better ... And I have realized that there is a weakness for every season, so why would you want to go from weakness to weakness without learning anything?

I got filled with the spirit y'day and I believe my husband deliverance is attached to my obedience and my Christ walk. I decided to start a blog to help others. A glitch turned to a gift. God is sooo good, he orchestrated my brokeness and heartache to a gift. I'm excited.

I most definitely agree. Since that video was posted, I've drawn farther from just giving in simply because the urge was there. The key is not to try to get over the issue, but to get through it. And I thank God He's brought me as far as He has.

I really needed to hear this again, so glad he preached it. Steven Furtick did a similar message called The Glitch that Keeps on Giving. It's just such an important premise to explore.
I've had a "glitch" for 13 years and just recently found out I'm not the only one. It's not a documented diagnosis, more like a symptom that feels like a full-fledged disease. Now I see that God needs me to reach other people like me so we can get through it together! Sometimes our glitches are there to develop empathy for others & to help others going through the same thing.
