The RV industry needs an overhaul & accountability, no oversight or regulations whatsoever to protect the consumer. WTF are our politicians for anyway . Useless . Just like the FDA …….That’s why we need people like you to hold these manufacturers & salespeople accountable. Thanks for your work & videos exposing these issues. 👍👏⚾️🤛
You guys are right.... a buyer needs to be picky and they have every right to negotiate the flaws or expect that they be fixed completely. When I buy my RV, I will expect that every little flaw be fixed perfectly or I'll negotiate a discount based on what I'm willing to fix myself. Nice job you two

This is a sad sad example of the quality that is common with one of the leaders in the RV manufacturing industries. One might call Thor a leader in the demise of the RV Industry. I personally was considering one of these exact models and went to view it in person and was shocked to see so many flaws in a brand new unit I knew I could not even consider this brand, loved the design but I knew it would be a nightmare to actually own this brand. The salesman told me all the issues were under warranty. LMAO really LOL I was shocked to hear him say and I quote "we provide a lifetime warranty" after reading the warranty I knew to never darken their door again.

Lifetime warranty 🤣🤣🤣 that is the new MO they are using to blind people to purchase without an inspection...how much time, monies and actual enjoyment is your unit going to provide you if it's constantly at the dealership awaiting repairs ?
You thought an inspection was expensive 😁🤣 you will make those monthly payments without being able to use your unit...I'm sure your lost of time and monthly payments can be negotiated into your deal prior to signing 😉 try that ! 🤓

Just found your channel. Great job. Awesome service. Wish we would have gotten inspections early in our RV experience in 2016. Gave had 7 RVs. We had a brand new Thor Class A. Worst by far. We have had a 30 ft Flagstaff 5th wheel for over a year. Love it. 🎹🎸🎤😀

We just escaped a Thor Challenger. So many problems even after our inspection, brand new unit. Horrible product.

Great video. Curious as to how many times the customer has just walked away from the RV, or do the dealers do a good job in fixing things?
I ordered an ORV RV back in January (from a very good local dealer) and it just arrived the other day! The dealer was going to be at an RV show but said I was welcome to come by and look at the unit even though it had not gone through PDI. I found a few handfuls of stripped screws, a chunk of metal that had been cut out from one of the slides, 2X4 supports for the shower plan not fastened to the floor (but someone at least put screws in it), and damage to the underside of one of the slide floors.
The dealer is good so I am going to ask them nicely if they can fix everything or give me a different unit. Otherwise I just plan to not take the unit and trust my decision.

Thanks for watching! As you see, your not the only one. And with a visual walk through you saw a few things yourself, imagine the things we find as we look for the fine details. Typically, dealers are good about fixing the issues we find on the CRL (customer repair list). Good luck with your new purchase.

Before I even watch this video, I can anticipate a flurry of problems with this Thor. Thor is chronic for it's lousy builds. Can't wait to watch and comment after watching. You guys do such great work. I'll use you when I buy

Five months ago I was contemplating an 2022 Omni vs a used 2013 Phaeton 36GH. I looked at two Omnis and could not believe the poor quality of everything! The one Omni front skylight motorized cover was broken. The bedroom sliding door was hanging off the ceiling and you could lift it and watch the ceiling give. Drive down the road a while and there will be major issues. The outside chrome trim was rusting. What a joke. We went with the used Phaeton. Save $50,000.00 and the quality is far superior.

I don’t know how the everyday consumer survives unknowingly purchasing such large investments and unable to foresee or fix the issues that always occur after the purchase. I recently sold a CClass in the early spring and the buyer had an inspection done that wasn’t as thorough as what you provide. The upfront cost is nothing compared to what costs are incurred with loss of use.
We had to get someone that had to drive 100 miles to do our inspection. We were 5 hours from where the RV was.
This is typical traveling average for a good inspector 🙂
Some of us even get flown in 😁.

Is one of the items from this inspection that the SHOWER DRAINS INTO THE BLACK TANK?! That is how they plumb them and that is WRONG.

Great video, and we will definitely hire an independent RV inspector before our next purchase. We are on our 5th RV since 2006, and I'm pretty thorough in my inspections, however I missed 10 things when we purchased our latest 5th wheel 1 year ago. Its going back in this Friday for 6 more things that aren't working. Funny things is that we are looking at the Thor Omni RS36 right now, as our retirement RV, and seeing all of these issues makes me want to rethink our choice. We have 8 more years until we retire, and would like to purchase and payoff a super C prior to then.

My goodness I’ve been looking at RV videos for at least 11 years and this one just kills the fantasy for this particular unit as much as one has paid for something like this. They are a knock off $100,000 immediately just for the headache and still repair the product and I’m being conservative when I say 100 K at affect make it about 175K knocked off would you guys buy it then as is and fix it

Consultation, this unit they reviewed, is new or used? I can't understand why it has so many failures being that supposedly 0 miles. Or is this unit led to repair?
This was a brand spanking new unit. This is why an inspection is so important!
I love these Thor Super Cs but all I've heard are horror stories.
It's sad because in MHO they look sleek and announces for a quality feeling at a distance...so deceiving 😶

HR are typically solid units made by Fleetwood...tho we haven't had the opportunity to inspect 2022 yet , hence the importance of an inspection.
As Pierre mentions, we've not inspected one yet, but we did walk through a few at the Hershey Show. I personally fell in love with the Armada 44B.

@@blueoxontherun9188 I looked at a couple of owners rigs and they love them. They have chairs that aren't hard as a brick (Newmar) I had super c Renegades and they started making them like Winnebago roofs quality down. Newmar wiring has been down right bad in new units. The best resource is owners of new units and when I've been hearing from you more is not good but the Holiday Rambler I've yet to hear anything really bad it's minor very very minor stuff I know in '07 06 they had issues with their Windows fogging up they do paint windows which is nothing new my house still paying windows fogged up after 5 years so I never Anderson.
