Duuno, but some of the exterior trim and panel overlaps that you pointed out could cause water ingress? Are made with construction techniques that both the house building abd boat building industries changed away from decades ago. Precisely because those construction techniques encouraged water damage, and simple changes eliminated any possibility of it. I'm waiting for Wally and the Beaver to get caught as the real executives still building RVs the good old 50's way.

Batteries are not working? Test the batteries themselves. Every time they go dead, their total life gets drastically reduced according to all of the top 3 battery makers in the US. So if batteries already used up one of their nine lives...demand new ones, and verify the production date code and charge on them.

C4BO, I like the 44S a lot, but you have to find the bugs (Blue Ox) and get them worked out.

I've never bought an rv. However I have bought several homes over the decades. I leaned always have the house inspected. Never use a realtors inspector.

I'm so glad I got this advice before making that YUGE investment. I can't afford crap quality, I live in South Africa. I'm not going to have the luxury of just driving my big rig to the nearest dealership. They don't even exist. I'd rather get Team Ox to inspect the heck out it 1st. That' it💯

Pierre, I'm pretty sure that you know that the floor of the bedroom IS NOT right where the 'buckling' trim is that you pointed out. If water got in there at that point it DOES NOT GO UP 3 inches to where the floor is. Heck, that whole area under the overhang could be left exposed to framing with no fiberglass or buckling trim.....it is there to make it look pretty. Go back 30 years, a lot of 5th wheels were made with the frame of the overhang exposed. "Just Sayin".

You guys were in Canton, you could have visited my favorite rig. It was there, sold a month ago. New owner is not happy. Dealership said no issues, but never fixed what you guys found. Smh

Bought a Brinkley, should have bought an Alliance. I have only had my Brinkley since August and I may take it in the shorts and trade it on an Alliance.

Good to see a company that produces a quality product. I am sure you checked the floor for moisture inside where the trim piece was bowed.....a bit concerning. By the way, loved the reinforced drawers......particularly at my age, they come in handy.

that lower outside trim design by the bedroom is horrible. It appears to rely on sealant instead of diversion of water. No house door or window trim would rely on this type of design. Water coming down the side panel should be diverted away from intruding on the interior. this means the side trim should overlay the lower trim. It could be a z trim design for which the upper trim is behind the side panel and then extends out and over a lower trim. this alternative design would avoid reliance on sealant.

Its not only that the RV Manufacturers are sending out junk, its also the dealers trying to sell this stuff with all these issues.

I drank the coolaid and bought a Brinkley, and it has been pretty close to perfect. The Dicor sealant that the RV industry has used for 20+ years is crap, probably 90% of the RVs over 10 years old have leaked and have water damage. Brinkley is doing it different, and because you can’t see the sealant you don’t trust it? Hell I can see the Dicor, and I don’t trust it. The General RV sticker makes we wonder what it has been through, based on the stories of General I heard from Brinkley owners at a rally last weekend, there is no way I’d buy an RV from them. Time will tell is Brinkley is doing it right. I hope they are, and I hope it triggers the rest of the industry to improve their quality and support.

I always watch your channel sorry but I don't subscribe to any channels i was wondering if when you do an inspection and report what needs to be repaired do the inspectors return and check to make sure that it is repaired. Before I buy it if I like the unit.
