- Pinwheel quilts are a delight! A dimensional one is even better. Cut, sew, quilt and your done in under two hours! You will need
4 green squares cut at 4 1/2 " and
4 black squares cut at 4 1/2" this will make one pinwheel block
this block will be a finished 8" block
you will need 4 finished pinwheel blocks to make this table topper
so it is a total of 16 green and 16 black squares
2 strips of black at 3" x 16 1/2" first border
2 strips of black at 3" x 21 1/2" second border
3 strips W.O.F at 2" for your binding
26" square piece of fabric for the back
26" square piece of batting
I used Hobbs fusible batting

Best tutorial, when I make my quilt my edges does not come out even how can I keep my quilt even?
+Doby Carter are you talking about when you put your borders on? Give me a example and I will try to help you out.
Okay so if I wanted it to be 10 inch squares by the end would I cut my small squares 5 in?
+Littlecat3100 Yes but don't forget to add your seam allowance:) Start with 51/2 which will give you a finished 10"
👍👍👍😳😳😳👏👏👏😊😊😊😘😘😘
Hello Laura, are you by any chance related to the gal on the utube channel Our Recycled life? You sound so much alike!!!
r
yes ,I'm sorry ... when I put the boarder on I always have one corner thats uneven
+Doby Carter OK first you have to make sure both side are the same size . Pin the border on and when you sew make sure you do not stretch as you sew. Sew with the newest border on the top so that the pieced border is on the bottom. This way the feet dogs will help feed the fabric under, fitting it all in. hope this helps:)
