I am so happy I didn’t cave and buy these!! I almost bought the light palette so many times. A number of things held me back, the price for what you are getting, the lack of variety, the competition, and that I am a bit mad at Charlotte. Every year I look forward to and budget for the 12 pan holiday palette, the fancy packaging for the OG film star bronze and glow palette, and the instant look in a palette, none of which she launched this year. Charlotte chose instead to release $34 singles!! THIRTY FOUR DOLLAR SINGLES! The usual 12 pan release is generally $75, and these singles are $34??!! I have absolutely fantastic stunningly amazing singles from JCat beauty that are under FIVE DOLLARS!!! The face palette is very pretty but at $75 they don’t stack up against the Pat McGrath face palettes, and 25% of the CT palette is an existing shade! Today I ordered the Divine Rose palette that has a highlighter, and four blushes, one of which will be a beautiful bronzer for my complexion, price, $62 minus 10% for purchasing at launch! Then the Hourglass Elephant palette, which is even more versatile, blushes, bronzer, highlighter and finishing powders for a mere $10 more AND they donate 5% of the proceeds to a worth cause for animals! Charlotte donates nothing, the prices are ABSURD! I just feel like Charlottes ego is out of control! That said every product that I have from Charlotte though still overpriced, is very very good, but at least on this launch she won’t be getting my money.
Mine is supposed to be here today. I am frustrated with the time it took for UPS to even come and get the package. I ordered something from Sephora later on the same day (Friday, September 30th) and I got it Monday afternoon!

You made a lot of sense with the face pallets. I’m older than you and have to be careful with highlighters. To your point, paying $75 knowing I will just use the blushes doesn’t make sense. Thanks for a fantastic review!!
Tara, as much as I want this palette, you are correct. My eyes didn't see ANYTHING that said these shades would be unique to what I already have. I missed out on her very first 4-pan cheek palette release and wanted to get this one in its place. But truth is, I won't be missing out on this one. I have some fantastic highlighter shades and formulas from brands and I can't really give a reason for getting these other than they're pretty and it's Charlotte.

I received my CT face pallette and am also not blown away by it! I am actually going to return it. Blushes did nothing for me and wore off quick. The highlighters were nice but still not worth it. Wish I saw your review before I purchased haha 😄
I wasn’t wowed this year either. I expected something different like last year’s palette. She really missed the mark this year. I really appreciate your honesty, All the swatches It’s just refreshing The eye pops are a pass for me, very very expensive for one colour The cheek palettes I love but was conserved over there being two highlighters and loemyiu I don’t wear much highlighter, I never did so to buy a palette for $120 Australian dollars to only use half, you’re right, I can’t do ! I really want to see more versatile pallets with less highlighters in them or even when there is a smaller pan, you dont use that much anyway!

I have last years holiday face palette and I love that one, I also need to use it more. So thanks for saving me money. Maybe the ND dream blush palette will be a better choice for me. This was an awesome video. Both palettes looked incredible on you!! Same as the eyeshadows. I had already ordered the med/Deep palette because I was drawn to the “blush topper” shade and deep shade. And I was having FOMO with the fair/ med palette. But you saved me money talked me out of it cause I wanted it just for that top Mauvey blush shade but I do have Divine Rose blush. So thank you lol I’m intrigued by the Smokey quartz shade and the cosmic rocks though
I agree with you Tara. I don’t use highlighter for every day…I just use a touch of blush on the daily..but I love her Hollywood filter for my highlighter..it’s so natural. To be truthful, all the blush tones loo k quite similar. Nothing special really…
Oh, shoot. I am not sure which one I was wearing😫 These are the top options.. 1- new Haus Labs, 2 - Kvd good apple foundation, 3 - Hourglass Ambient (i don't think it's this one though) or 4 - Chantecaille Future Skin 🤪 Those are the 3 i have been wearing recently❤️ And, regarding the Pop Shots, unfortunately, they don't remind me of the Fire Rose Quad. They're more like her pop shades in her Quads. That one in the fire rose was special 🤣 Hope that helps🙏💕
Completely agree with you on the face palettes! I have the Nudegasm and absolutely love it, because it has contour, bronzer, a peachy highlight, which works wonderfully as a blush on me, and a subtle highlight. It’s my daily go to and perfect for travel. ❤❤
I still use Nudegasm it’s my all time fav face palette. I was hoping the pop shots would be the super pop formula from fire rose. But I passed when I saw they weren’t. like you say we have them. I rather use her eyez to mesmerize
You just saved me some money and I instead bought two more Gucci blushes since I love the first one I bought #4 I think the will be gone before the Sephora sale so I had to get them
the thing that makes me want to buy these is that they're advertised as multi functional and can be used on the eyes TOO. When looked at that way... thiere are some of the most bang for your buck as far as eyeshadow quads go (for CT)

@@TaraLynnbeauty im trying too thanks 😊 🙏 but my Drs last Thursday turned off one of my pacemaker wire lead that was having issues with my battery going too low way too fast so instead of having another major surgery again with my heart ❤ due to high risk they wanna see if I need this extra lead before they do the next step so by doing so it's making me very tired and little pressures of the breathing but I'm hanging in there until the next echocardigram gets done and go from there I was born with heart ❤ failure since I was a baby 👶 I was the very first one back in 1976 and did one of my open heart surgery 6months later at 1977 back in NY where I grew up but now living in Nevada in Las Vegas / Henderson side the Drs here are good but not the best so now ❤ I go and see also more Drs at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio state the best in the world for any complications of heart issues I see them they already did my open heart ❤ surgery 2x and I have now a artificial heart ❤ mitral but my Tricuspid heart ❤ valve is failing again after 3 repairs and it's still leaking so alot is going on with me now but im hanging in there but unfortunately my pulmonary is going back down in numbers due to the heart ❤ ugh never ends but watching you and others help me get by thanks so much for that 💙

I've bought Rose Gold and Smokey Quartz, they are very good on crinkly eyelids - which is fabulous. Thank you CT 😊 I've passing on the cheek quads. As you said, "there's nothing special about them". U have the best cheeks in the business. The blushes look beautiful on u. Also, I was gonna mention that sometimes when a dog chews on their paws, it can mean they r having pain. So if he does it alot, then maybe consult the vet. Not to worry at all but I just thought of that when u mentioned ur dog was doing that.
Why is it that these companies think that all fair/medium people like cool tones? It drives me crazy because the nice, warm-toned blushes are always in palettes where the highlighter is too dark. Hourglass is another culprit!
I don't know. At this point everything looks the same to me. Also, I wish she had a bronzer instead of one highlighter. I have one highlighter mini from bobbi brown and I don't know how long it will take to use that one :D

But I have to say those eyeshadows are very pretty but really $32 dollars. Not for me. That shade that you liked is so pretty and the blue on too. I’ll stick to palettes. Just saying.🥰🙏
Completely agree. For the price it's not worth it to me (because of the highlighters). If she had swapped a bronzer for one of the highlighters I would have picked one up.
the face palette, smokey quartz, emerald eyes, and cosmic rocks pop shots look absolutely GORGEOUS and if i had a the income to purchase them all, I TOTALLY WOULD!!! 😍😍😍
The one good thing about the pop shots is that you can use your finger with nails unlike the little jars. It gets a little challenging as the product goes down
Thank you for that pragmatic review of these products. The CT face palettes are pretty but not special. We're so inundated with makeup releases these days, I really want to save my money for something unique to my collection, and these face palettes are not it.
Every CT eyeshadow I bought has been a disappointment. They are dry, chalky and hardpan fast. Colour payoff is mediocre. I'm going to sit this one out, but as always enjoyed the video and love you Tara 😍
Makeup is just beautiful on you but I see what you are saying about them not being unique....you would like the LH Cosmetics that is on sale with 25% off currently....
The blushes look pretty but like you I'm just not that into wearing that sort of highlighter anymore so will not be buying that. The shadows are $51 here, so doubt I will buy any of those.

U have the best cheeks in the business. The blushes look beautiful on u. Also, I was gonna mention that sometimes when a dog chews on their paws, it can mean they r having pain. So if he does it alot, then maybe consult the vet. Not to worry at all but I just thought of that when u mentioned ur dog was doing that.
Why is it that these companies think that all fair/medium people like cool tones? It drives me crazy because the nice, warm-toned blushes are always in palettes where the highlighter is too dark. Hourglass is another culprit!
I don't know. At this point everything looks the same to me. Also, I wish she had a bronzer instead of one highlighter. I have one highlighter mini from bobbi brown and I don't know how long it will take to use that one :D

Hey Tara, I have to say like how many blushes you can have of the same shade or tone. I really don’t use highlighters so I will skip on this collection. But I have to say those eyeshadows are very pretty but really $32 dollars. Not for me. That shade that you liked is so pretty and the blue on too. I’ll stick to palettes. Just saying.🥰🙏

Completely agree. For the price it's not worth it to me (because of the highlighters). If she had swapped a bronzer for one of the highlighters I would have picked one up.

the face palette, smokey quartz, emerald eyes, and cosmic rocks pop shots look absolutely GORGEOUS and if i had a the income to purchase them all, I TOTALLY WOULD!!! 😍😍😍
The one good thing about the pop shots is that you can use your finger with nails unlike the little jars. It gets a little challenging as the product goes down

Thank you for that pragmatic review of these products. The CT face palettes are pretty but not special. We're so inundated with makeup releases these days, I really want to save my money for something unique to my collection, and these face palettes are not it.

Every CT eyeshadow I bought has been a disappointment. They are dry, chalky and hardpan fast. Colour payoff is mediocre. I'm going to sit this one out, but as always enjoyed the video and love you Tara 😍
