Imo, a product that's marketed as a face palette ought to be used as a face palette and an eyeshadow palette IF the user chooses to do so. You can't tell people to buy a face palette but don't expect to use it as a face palette. That's so entitled and downright rude. Just imagine, if there was only one face palette but it only worked on very fair skintones. You buy the palette because the creator has said it's universal and you are light/medium. Then you learn the only way you can use the palette is on your eyes ... not on the face as described! You would feel cheated/ignored/disregarded and disrespected. Any brand who refuses to be inclusive is literally boycotted by me. They're not getting rich off my money, I can only say "thank you" Tara for being incredibly honest and voicing what we're all thinking. But you're always 💯 honest, you always put us before the brand. I hadn’t planned to pick this one up because all the photos I saw had the contour and bronzer looking super grey. I don’t mind cool but not grey. It’s disappointing that this is a “universal”palette but only if your universe is full uncooked chicken. Hope the move went well! Thank you for the reciew

The darker of glowgasm and Full face palettes I could make work (not the bronzer) but one “universal” palette seems like a huge step back because “universal” never includes my skin tone.

great review as usual..you saved my money...I have the lovegasm palette, it's slightly darker on my skin tone but it's buildable so works great on me...one question, on your glowgasm palette are you getting hard pan on the bronzer? mine has already gone hard and I have to scrap the top layer to make it work
The thing with CT products is that they make you look so pretty! It’s why I love the brand 😍 Tara, I wanted to point your attention to something related to your videos. When I watch them on my phone I have no issues, when I watch the videos on my TV the quality is not as ‘crisp’ compared to other videos I watch. I love watching your channel but just thought I should let you know that the quality does not translate quite right on a bigger screen, might be the camera or lightning.

Thank you for being honest about Charlotte’s complexion products. I thought she did a great job with her bronzer, face powder. I do have the darker glowgasim and it works well. Her foundation colors just don’t work for me. Not sure why she stepped backwards. 🤷🏾♀️
Thanks for your very good and very honest review, Tara!!!👍🤩🤩🤩🤩 This palette may be cool toned (i have reddish undertones in my face), but the blush is not, so for me more a crowd pleaser, and very important, not for the people with gorgeous deeper complexions. Maybe the bronzers suit me, but i still have so many bronzers. The highlight and blush, would use the blush on my eyes for sure, it's a no for me, simple. I like that Charlotte tries something else every time, but to complete the collection: for this palette the blush had to be pink/light pink, and with this palette there must be warmer highlighter and bronzers/contour, at least, and a 3rd palette of course with deeper tones!!! Her spring release, the other face palettes, i have the lightest one, love the products for the face, brilliant to put her famous powder in the place where the giant highlight was, eyeshadows: not to crazy about. So if i would take this with my on a holiday i would always add a nice single shade, or 2. Such a good video again, thanks again, and have a wonderful day!!!!🖐😘😘😘😘

Dear Tara, I really love the Nudegasme but are the shades similar to the Filmstar Bronze & Glow. Just a question before I’m going to buy the last one. Greetings from the Netherlands. 🌷
I thought CT heard all of us in that she needed to bring out face palettes, highlighters, etc in more than 1 universal shade because they can never be univeral. So disappointed she brought out ONE, not even two but really we need a light, medium, and dark. I also don't like a contour that's either too grey on anyone or has any radiance as it's supposed to create a natural-looking shadow. Bronzer however is a personal preference so matte or radiant gives good options. I'm with you in I prefer a cream contour. I also prefer cream bronzers but have yet to buy one, I have the Gucci medium.
I bought the new nudes palette and eyeshadow. The glowgasm sold out before I could get my hands on it. So I bought the becca kloe palette. I love it. Plus I am kinda bummed with the eyeshadow, I own the pillow talk palette. Thank you for the swatches. I do agree we need more shades.
What self tanner do you use? it looks so even toned in color and it looks beautiful on you. I think that's why maybe these palettes weren't showing up so well on your skin because you are very tan. I love your tan color.

I don't have a video on it however, i can tell you this new Palette is more pigmented than the filmstar sculpt. The filmstar is more powdery and this one is more Creamy (but not actually Creamy if that makes sense lol,). Also, The filmstar is not as grey as the light shade in this new Palette. The darker shade is darker than the shades in the Filmstar ❤ Hope that makes sense🤣 and hope it helps😁❤

I'm a new sub and I enjoyed your honesty in this video. 😊 I personally do not splurge on Charlotte Tilbury products because I just find them to be too expensive for my budget. I have made a few purchases over the years and enjoyed them, but I generally try to find dupes that are more affordable. That being said, I think she did a great job with the lip liners and lipsticks as far as shade ranges but that face palate is not universal. I have the Benefit Cheekleaders palette and find that I can use that and probably get pretty close to the the same look, but this would NOT work for deeper skin tones. I think the lipsticks are more inclusive, but CT needs to do better with face palettes. Imho.
Yes, stick with the Victoria Beckham. The 2 sided pencil moves around all day. Yes, we still needed one more palette. I'm SICK of Gasm. I'm sick of Pillow Talk. They can't come up with more names ? I have no problem with brands putting out "universal" shades because putting out two/three versions of the same palette can be problematic. But why is it always that these "universal" palettes cater to people with my skin tone? She could have done this same palette but catered it to people with dark/deep skin tones instead. It's disappointing to see this time and time again.
Honestly because it largely comes down to $$. Maybe the darker version of other palettes she has made did not sell well. Not an excuse but I do think the explanation. When hourglass comes out with the darker ambient light palette in the fall (if they actually do), at this point I'll be surprised if it actually sells bc folks are so turned off by how long it took the company to respond.
Also the darkest shade is definitely too dark on me. I love the product but won't be using that shade except for on my eye for the outer corner. Really no makeup product should be called "universal," right? But I definitely get the point!!!
I was initially excited when I saw the NudeGasm palette pop up in Charlotte’s latest ad because I didn’t purchase either of her GlowGasm palettes. But when I saw the colors, I just wasn’t that excited. For me personally, I thought the blush and highlighter shades might be too warm on me. I’m cool toned, and Charlotte’s colors can tend to run orangey on me. I think they look great on you! I never was interested in the Super Nudes eyeshadow palette, because like you said, it reminds me of the Desert Heat palette, and I wasn’t interested in that either. I’m really not into all matte eyeshadows. Isn’t she supposed to come out with some eyeshadow quads that are similar to the Hollywood eyeshadow palettes she came out with last year? I do like her quads, even though they’re not the best value. I’m also interested in seeing the Runway Royale Kissing formula lipstick. I see it’s available, but I kind of want to see what it looks like first before going ahead and ordering it. I love the Super Nude Kissing lipstick from last year. It’s the perfect nude for me.
Still looks great on you in my opinion for another cooler tone mood, doesn’t look as grey as in the pan, it’s a good palette but not a stand alone face palette, i wanted to see how does this compare to marc jacobs bronzers to have a reference of how cool toned.. But anyway, i think i’m going to skip, so excited to her holiday launches! I would love if you review dolce and gabbana stuff, almost no reviews! I remember long long time ago they had amazing products and lots of things came up later this year but nobody cares.. maybe the marketing? Are you interested in their releases?
I wanted to love this palette - it was a gift with purchase. However, those brown shades were way too gray for me. The blush was also namby pamby on my tan skin. I gave the palette away. - although I wish I had kept it (never give any CT away unless it’s a dupe :)

Thank you for stating the obvious that this face palette will not work on skin tones tan/deep to deep/rich and is not universal. I have watched several reviews that light contour barely works on medium skin tones. I am disappointed that there was not a second option. I have also noticed a lot of new launches moving toward lighter pastel eye shadows with no deepening shade and while they are beautiful, those won’t work on tan/deep to deep/rich either. While I understand trends change, it seems like we are taking a step backwards.
I was thinking the lighter (gray) shade would look lovely as an eye shade on anyone but yes this is clearly not universal 🤔 CT is not an indie brand that can’t afford to put out multiple shades so I don’t understand why she couldn’t have put out a deeper version the way she did with her recent face palettes? 🤷🏻♀️ I understand the whole point is that they’re nudes and therefore they’re toned down but still. These are nudes for whom? CT products are my go-to and I would hate to see everyone jump on the bandwagon the way they did with Hourglass. Charlotte knows better and I hope she comes out with a second version at least. 😔
I was so bummed bc the formulas were much better than the original baked gelee ones but the bronzer shades just don’t work how I want them too for my skin tone.
She does not make makeup for dark complexions! Why? 🤷♀️ I’m going to get her new palette, I have the other 2 glow gasm palettes, both work for me even the darker one. I’m pretty fair and cool toned so I know I’ll love the cool toned bronzer.
Thanks for the video Tara! My skin tone is light medium and the palette not being too warm is like a perfect palette for me. However, I'm only 1 person and we have a million different shade ranges and wants. CT failed on this one for anyone darker than you and me. Do I want it? Yes, but I'm not sure how I can support when not being inclusive 🤔 😕 I'm sad.

I ordered this but haven’t gotten it yet. I liked the glowgasm one she launched a while back but have that in the darker shade (and I’m super fair…). I really like charlottes products but it’s getting hard to justify supporting the brand when she only launches shades for pale people
For once I agree this isn’t a universal palette. I am a cool toned girl so I love the bronze shades but it would look straight up grey in tan skin. I personally think it would make a gorgeous eyeshadow palette. I have the super nude palette since she first launched it and do love it.
I agree, which is why I applied it both ways for those who are wondering if it could be worn that way without adding a Bronzer over top. Those who have a lighter skin tone could use the shade on the bottom right as Contour, and share on the left as a Bronzer. 😁 When I review a product like this, I test it multiple ways so those who are spending money on high end makeup know exactly what it is and how it can or cannot be worn. That's all😁

Bronzers don't have a grey tone. If a shade has grey undertones it's for proper contouring, to mimic a shadow. The shades in the palette aren't bronzers. You have amazing cheekbones anyway so you don't need to contour x
I think she’s calling it ‘universal’ because if all the shades don’t work on your complexion they can be used in the eyes. Just a guess. IMO only people with a medium skin tone will be able to use all of the colors. I have a light skin tone and the contour colors would not look good on me so I’m left with a highlighter and blush. She really should have had at least two more palettes.
You can't "complain" or "act like you're complaining" about Charlotte not having enough shades for everyone, & at the same time hype the products up. She need incentive to change.

You know how you can help to get these cosmetic companies to be inclusive?... You can NOT give them your platform, The more influencers that STOP giving these companies a platform, That would give them incentive to CHANGE, right now they don't have enough incentive to change because influencers are still raving & giving glowing reviews about there products. So why should they change?, Their still being RAVED about all over Social Media. If a bunch of you influencers just stop mentioning their Brand all together on your platforms, than they would have to change what they're doing. It has to start somewhere.

Hi, I just subscribed to your channel! You are stunning! My skin tone is just a little bit lighter than you but I do tan easily but I always use protection like you do ! I have the palette! I’m hoping to get the eyeshadow palette you used and the other glowgasm ! I don’t know if they are still available! Anyway, I wish you could apply my makeup! You are so gifted. My bf bought this one for me, but what I loved most is your brushes! I need the brushes desperately! Dear Tara, I really love the Nudegasme but are the shades similar to the Filmstar Bronze & Glow. Just a question before I’m going to buy the last one. Greetings from the Netherlands. 🌷
I thought CT heard all of us in that she needed to bring out face palettes, highlighters, etc in more than 1 universal shade because they can never be univeral. So disappointed she brought out ONE, not even two but really we need a light, medium, and dark. I also don't like a contour that's either too grey on anyone or has any radiance as it's supposed to create a natural-looking shadow. Bronzer however is a personal preference so matte or radiant gives good options. I'm with you in I prefer a cream contour. I also prefer cream bronzers but have yet to buy one, I have the Gucci medium.
I bought the new nudes palette and eyeshadow. The glowgasm sold out before I could get my hands on it. So I bought the becca kloe palette. I love it. Plus I am kinda bummed with the eyeshadow, I own the pillow talk palette. Thank you for the swatches. I do agree we need more shades.

What self tanner do you use? it looks so even toned in color and it looks beautiful on you. I think that's why maybe these palettes weren't showing up so well on your skin because you are very tan. I love your tan color.

I don't have a video on it however, i can tell you this new Palette is more pigmented than the filmstar sculpt. The filmstar is more powdery and this one is more Creamy (but not actually Creamy if that makes sense lol,). Also, The filmstar is not as grey as the light shade in this new Palette. The darker shade is darker than the shades in the Filmstar ❤ Hope that makes sense🤣 and hope it helps😁❤

I'm a new sub and I enjoyed your honesty in this video. 😊 I personally do not splurge on Charlotte Tilbury products because I just find them to be too expensive for my budget. I have made a few purchases over the years and enjoyed them, but I generally try to find dupes that are more affordable. That being said, I think she did a great job with the lip liners and lipsticks as far as shade ranges but that face palate is not universal. I have the Benefit Cheekleaders palette and find that I can use that and probably get pretty close to the the same look, but this would NOT work for deeper skin tones. I think the lipsticks are more inclusive, but CT needs to do better with face palettes. Imho.
Yes, stick with the Victoria Beckham. The 2 sided pencil moves around all day. Yes, we still needed one more palette. I'm SICK of Gasm. I'm sick of Pillow Talk. They can't come up with more names ? I have no problem with brands putting out "universal" shades because putting out two/three versions of the same palette can be problematic. But why is it always that these "universal" palettes cater to people with my skin tone? She could have done this same palette but catered it to people with dark/deep skin tones instead. It's disappointing to see this time and time again.
Ya , I agree. She could have chosen better shades for a "Universal" palette. Just disappointed 😞 But happy we have the Glow Gasm palettes 😁❤
Honestly because it largely comes down to $$. Maybe the darker version of other palettes she has made did not sell well. Not an excuse but I do think the explanation. When hourglass comes out with the darker ambient light palette in the fall (if they actually do), at this point I'll be surprised if it actually sells bc folks are so turned off by how long it took the company to respond.
Also the darkest shade is definitely too dark on me. I love the product but won't be using that shade except for on my eye for the outer corner. Really no makeup product should be called "universal," right? But I definitely get the point!!!
I was initially excited when I saw the NudeGasm palette pop up in Charlotte’s latest ad because I didn’t purchase either of her GlowGasm palettes. But when I saw the colors, I just wasn’t that excited. For me personally, I thought the blush and highlighter shades might be too warm on me. I’m cool toned, and Charlotte’s colors can tend to run orangey on me. I think they look great on you! I never was interested in the Super Nudes eyeshadow palette, because like you said, it reminds me of the Desert Heat palette, and I wasn’t interested in that either. I’m really not into all matte eyeshadows. Isn’t she supposed to come out with some eyeshadow quads that are similar to the Hollywood eyeshadow palettes she came out with last year? I do like her quads, even though they’re not the best value. I’m also interested in seeing the Runway Royale Kissing formula lipstick. I see it’s available, but I kind of want to see what it looks like first before going ahead and ordering it. I love the Super Nude Kissing lipstick from last year. It’s the perfect nude for me.

Still looks great on you in my opinion for another cooler tone mood, doesn’t look as grey as in the pan, it’s a good palette but not a stand alone face palette, i wanted to see how does this compare to marc jacobs bronzers to have a reference of how cool toned..

I wanted to love this palette - it was a gift with purchase. However, those brown shades were way too gray for me. The blush was also namby pamby on my tan skin. I gave the palette away. - although I wish I had kept it (never give any CT away unless it’s a dupe :)

Thank you for stating the obvious that this face palette will not work on skin tones tan/deep to deep/rich and is not universal. I have watched several reviews that light contour barely works on medium skin tones. I am disappointed that there was not a second option. I have also noticed a lot of new launches moving toward lighter pastel eye shadows with no deepening shade and while they are beautiful, those won’t work on tan/deep to deep/rich either. While I understand trends change, it seems like we are taking a step backwards.

I was thinking the lighter (gray) shade would look lovely as an eye shade on anyone but yes this is clearly not universal 🤔 CT is not an indie brand that can’t afford to put out multiple shades so I don’t understand why she couldn’t have put out a deeper version the way she did with her recent face palettes? 🤷🏻♀️ I understand the whole point is that they’re nudes and therefore they’re toned down but still. These are nudes for whom? CT products are my go-to and I would hate to see everyone jump on the bandwagon the way they did with Hourglass. Charlotte knows better and I hope she comes out with a second version at least. 😔
I was so bummed bc the formulas were much better than the original baked gelee ones but the bronzer shades just don’t work how I want them too for my skin tone.
She does not make makeup for dark complexions! Why? 🤷♀️ I’m going to get her new palette, I have the other 2 glow gasm palettes, both work for me even the darker one. I’m pretty fair and cool toned so I know I’ll love the cool toned bronzer.
Thanks for the video Tara! My skin tone is light medium and the palette not being too warm is like a perfect palette for me. However, I'm only 1 person and we have a million different shade ranges and wants. CT failed on this one for anyone darker than you and me. Do I want it? Yes, but I'm not sure how I can support when not being inclusive 🤔 😕 I'm sad.

I want one of her face palettes but it's not that one.
I ordered this but haven’t gotten it yet. I liked the glowgasm one she launched a while back but have that in the darker shade (and I’m super fair…). I really like charlottes products but it’s getting hard to justify supporting the brand when she only launches shades for pale people
For once I agree this isn’t a universal palette. I am a cool toned girl so I love the bronze shades but it would look straight up grey in tan skin.
I personally think it would make a gorgeous eyeshadow palette.
I have the super nude palette since she first launched it and do love it.
But she is not saying they are bronzer. It literally says "sculpting powders". So they are no bronzers. Of course they are not warm.
I agree, which is why I applied it both ways for those who are wondering if it could be worn that way without adding a Bronzer over top. Those who have a lighter skin tone could use the shade on the bottom right as Contour, and share on the left as a Bronzer. 😁 When I review a product like this, I test it multiple ways so those who are spending money on high end makeup know exactly what it is and how it can or cannot be worn. That's all😁

@@NaNaTT549 As much as I loved Hourglass products I stopped purchasing them last year and will not resume until everyone can find a shade they can wear. It would be a shame for CT to join that list.

Bronzers don't have a grey tone. If a shade has grey undertones it's for proper contouring, to mimic a shadow. The shades in the palette aren't bronzers. You have amazing cheekbones anyway so you don't need to contour x

I think she’s calling it ‘universal’ because if all the shades don’t work on your complexion they can be used in the eyes. Just a guess. IMO only people with a medium skin tone will be able to use all of the colors. I have a light skin tone and the contour colors would not look good on me so I’m left with a highlighter and blush. She really should have had at least two more palettes.

As long a Charlotte Tilbury & the rest of them non-inclusive brands still have great influencers like yourself promoting their products on your platforms, they have NO incentive to change..Imo
You know how you can help to get these cosmetic companies to be inclusive?... You can NOT give them your platform, The more influencers that STOP giving these companies a platform, That would give them incentive to CHANGE, right now they don't have enough incentive to change because influencers are still raving & giving glowing reviews about there products. So why should they change?, Their still being RAVED about all over Social Media. If a bunch of you influencers just stop mentioning their Brand all together on your platforms, than they would have to change what they're doing.
It has to start somewhere.
Shame on CT for her disregard to inclusivity and Kudos to you for talking about the elephant in the room! I love CT and just ordered her Royal Runway lippie. Clearly she doesn’t have a clear understanding what “nudes” are for deeper skin and how “nudes” should look on deeper skin. What a disappointing launch. CT can do better than this.
