So, an all-powerful, all knowing God knew that Adam and Eve were going to rebel even before He made them. Thus He was fully aware that sin and suffering were coming into the world yet He chose not to do anything about it? This question has never been answered for me. He could have easily ‘wired’ Adam and Eve differently whilst still retaining their free will (since He is all-powerful).
Typically, the people who suffer most from god’s justice are the poor, the starving, and primarily children who have no knowledge of sin. If you believe in him he is still the monstrous god of old. No apology for his character will change that fact.

The question “If God is good, why the world is bad”, has an interesting twist when asked “If God is evil, why there is good in the world?” Who can explain the good things in this world if there in no a force for good? If this God is all powerful and evil, why do we experience anything good in our life?

God is whatever you believe he (or she) is. There is no other connection to God than belief. And if you don't believe than for you there is no God. End of story, it's that simple! The Bible unveils the sovereign plan of God, who ordained every evil deed before the dawn of creation. "What shall we say then? Is there any unrighteousness with God? May it never be! For He says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.” So then it does not depend on the one who wills or the one who runs, but on God who has mercy. For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, “For this very purpose I raised you up, in order to demonstrate My power in you, and in order that My name might be proclaimed throughout the whole earth.” So then He has mercy on whom He desires, and He hardens whom He desires. You will say to me then, “Why does He still find fault? For who resists His will?” On the contrary, who are you, O man, who answers back to God? Will the thing molded say to the molder, “Why did you make me like this”? Or does not the potter have authority over the clay, to make from the same lump one vessel for honorable use and another for dishonorable use? And what if God, wanting to demonstrate His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much patience vessels of wrath having been prepared for destruction, and in order that He might make known the riches of His glory upon vessels of mercy, which He prepared beforehand for glory- even us, whom He also called, not from among Jews only, but also from among Gentiles?" Romans 9:14-24 LSB
have you considered....free will? mankind's sin is what introduced death and decay into the world. And, God being "all powerful", or the most powerful being on the planet, does not mean He always gets or does just whatever He wants. Scripturally you can find that God does not always get what He wants (God desires that ALL be saved, yet we know many will refuse Him and end up in hell), at least on the earth, and we see the devil being able to oppose/hinder/get in the way of God and of what God wants. It's an interesting topic worth studying/researching out further don't just assume "if God is love and all good, then..." "...He must control everything", or "...hell must not exist", "or everyone gets to go to heaven", or "God understands if I sin and so I'll just keep doing it", but these are bad/incorrect assumptions. I can say that they are incorrect because it goes contrary to other things revealed in the Bible. Our understanding of the God of the bible, should be based on what the Bible says God does intervene, at times, but it seems like mostly He honors human free will and lets it play out based on what our actions warrant. So you could say God created the potential for evil, but didn't orchestrate the evil. Some may ask, why did God do this? And I've heard it said, true love cannot exist without free will. If we truly have free will, the evils of the world are on us, human greed, selfishness, lust, sin, disobedience, acting contrary to what God wants. If God controls everything, you make Him out to be the orchestrator of all evil. I believe in free will, and ability does not mean a person will always use it, nor does potential future knowledge mean the person caused said event to happen. Curiously, when God doesn't judge, say when Hitler rose to power and God did not directly intervene, they say "where was God?!". Yet when we talk about Sodom and Gomorrah, or plagues in Egypt, people complain "God you're unfair, fickle, tyrannical!". People will get upset with whatever you give them.
@@stevenbatke2475 that is what we are supposed to do, use our free will to not sin. However, we have all sinned at one point or another. If God is Good, Why Do Bad Things Happen? The answer is very simple. Bad things happen because GOD is good and mankind is bad. If only GOD existed there would be no bad things happening. If mankind, mainly women kind would stop doing bad things there would be no bad things happening and everything would be good. It is so simple.
" Bad things happen because GOD is good and mankind is bad." Why is mankind bad if God created us and all other life forms? It would seem more likely that if God created the world and humans that God is evil because of all the evil that is in the world. On what basis do you say God is good? Do you have an independent standard for good that you measure God by, or are you measuring him based on his own standard? In the latter case, it means we have no basis for saying God is good but only God is God and meets his own standards regardless of what they are. Why would our free will be bent toward evil rather than good? How did sin enter the world?
Well not quite a perfect god. He didn't create the sun until after he'd created the vegetables. He also admits to being a jealous god which isn't a very endearing quality in a deity. He's also admitted to one or two mistakes like murdering the entire world population in the flood and then trying to make up for it by creating a rainbow. Not much of a consolation if you've just been murdered. There's also some unfortunate victim blaming. He created satan, in his infinite wisdom, but blames Eve for doing what satan told her to do. If I'm going to worship a diety he's going to have to do a bit better than this.

Well done...it is the penultimate question that we as Christians must be able to help the world to grapple with! He is a Calvinist...be careful of that doctrine. Ephesians 2:8 for example...the Calvinist AT Robinson admitted that Grace and Faith are feminine words (you are saved by Grace through Faith) and thus "that" not of your own power which is neuter does NOT apply to those two feminine words. God is saying that SALVATION (go look at Ephesians 2:5 > "by Grace are ye saved" - in other words God FIRST had to be OK with the concept of salvation before your faith could ever be effective) is not of your own power...not of works that no man would boast.
Not sure what exactly your beef is with Calvinism, I just want to point out that everywhere in the bible it is clear that God chooses - people or action or direction and it is always GOD who initiates correction. So what exactly do you find troubling about the so-called "Calvinism"?
@@kevinrtres I disagree with all except the last point...the perseverance of the Saints. Once saved always saved; God is faithful to complete that which He begins in a believer. He rebirths them from above...in other words He rebirths their spirit. Then throughout the remainder of our life He works with our conscious soul and at the end He gives us a glorified body. We are a body-soul-spirit and He saves us in the order spirit-soul-body. You were saved when He rebirthed your spirit...you are being saved as He works with your soul and you will be saved when He gives you a glorified body some day. His sovereignty revolves around Him allowing us our own free will. Paul spoke of Timothy's unfeigned faith...when God sees our unfeigned faith He responds by rebirthing our spirit and he is faithful to complete. Acts 17:26-27 pulls down total depravity-God says He chooses the time and place we live our life "so that men will seek Him in the Hope that they will grope for Him and find Him"-He allows us to live in a crucible of pressures desiring that we choose Him. He would that all come to a saving faith but of course not all do.
@@watchful1168 What about this? Th people who are going to the lake of fire were always going there. Revelation 13:6-8 ESV [6] It opened its mouth to utter blasphemies against God, blaspheming his name and his dwelling, that is, those who dwell in heaven. [7] Also it was allowed to make war on the saints and to conquer them. And authority was given it over every tribe and people and language and nation, [8] and all who dwell on earth will worship it, everyone whose name has not been written before the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who was slain.
@@watchful1168 Thanks for the full response. You said: *His sovereignty revolves around Him allowing us our own free will. Paul spoke of Timothy's unfeigned faith...when God sees our unfeigned faith He responds by rebirthing our spirit and he is faithful to complete.* I understand salvation differently. Left to ourselves we will in no wise seek after God. We see the example throughout the bible. Abraham was an idolater and God had to reel him in. Some how, somewhere we need to get to know about the God of the bible. As it says - faith comes by hearing. So even the faith we have is a gift from God. I see it this way: When Adam and Eve sinned it doomed their offspring to a spiritual death. So all that was left was a sea of sinful, spirit dead souls floating around with no way to save themselves. It's only when God reaches down to the spiritually dead to pluck them out of their situation that they gain the life they need to become children of God. There is no "God extends the stick and you must grasp it" or "God does His bit and you must respond" because you are spiritually DEAD and totally unable to respond. People keep on wanting to take credit for their "response". This is precisely what God says in His word : "That no one can boast". So your statement is the wrong way around. If you read the bible carefully you'll see that God has to quicken your spirit in order to plant faith into you so you can believe. You are not the initiator of anything - how can you be if you are spiritually dead? That's what Ephesians says : "Whilst we were DEAD in sins and trespasses...." Please, I won't be arguing over this - so please just take the time to sit down and consider the true import of all of this. It makes the glory of God so much greater when we recognize just what kind of mercy He has to extend to us, instead of wanting to rely on the so-called free-will of mankind - as if that's of any importance at all. The only thing that counts is recognition of the stupendously incredible mercy of God.
@@kevinrtres It is true left to ourselves we won't seek Him but remember Acts 17:26-27...He said He chose the time and place we would live our lives out and He did this SO THAT men would seek Him>>He puts us in a crucible of pressures throughout our life and His hope is that we therefore seek Him, grope for Him and find Him (He will not force us or scare us into the kingdom). When I hurt I cry out to God...I seek Him. Sounds like you do too. Paul spoke of Timothy's "unfeigned faith" therefore there is a feigned (or fake) faith and also an unfeigned faith. Remember the parable of the wheat and the tare-Jesus explained it in Matthew and said He sows His seeds in every heart and so does Satan; we shall see what grows in each person of history. The faith we have is our faith; the Calvinist AT Robertson said that Ephesians 2:8 does not apply the word "that" to Grace or Faith since it is neuter in the Greek and Grace and Faith are feminine words. Rather "...and THAT not of your own power..." refers to Ephesians 2:5 where Paul suddenly says "by Grace are ye saved" meaning just because your faith is involved in salvation in Epesians 2:8 don't get a big head; it is SALVATION that is not of your own power-not of works that no man may boast. Cain believed God existed but that is not enough. That's true we cannot save ourselves; He had to be willing and He is so perfect that someone had to pay the price. Jesus did that because only He was sinless as a man. You must respond with unfeigned faith (God sees the heart); God wants everyone...He doesn't just reach down for a few. "Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth." 1Timothy 2:4 Why would God want a Mediator if He is just picking a few?? "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;" 1Timothy 2:5 I don't take credit for salvation but it is ME who responded in unfeigned faith. I ain't boasting! I am thankful!! I have been such a coarse man in my life; I have no idea why God loves me so much! I ain't spiritually dead now because He rebirthed my spirit; and it was in my tears in 4th grade that I cried out to God. I didn't know what else to do...He did not make me cry out to Him. That is absurd..I am ME! Look closely...Pharoah sometimes hardened his own heart. I don't rely on my freewill for salvation...but I do rely on my freewill for my unfeigned faith! And my faith IS important...God said so. "By Grace are ye saved THROUGH FAITH..." Ephesians 2:8 Salvation did not happen BECAUSE of my faith but THROUGH IT. As it is written: "Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)" Ephesians 2:5 In short...first God had to be willing...then second He had to send His Grace (Jesus Christ). Salvation is of God but I must have true or unfeigned faith. That does not make me a big deal...it makes me thankful. I am not an Arminiunist BTW…you cannot lose your salvation. God is faithful to complete that which He began in you (when He rebirthed your spirit).

Jesus felt some terrible pain, no doubt, but far far from everything that we, as human beings, have to endure every day.

I can't believe God is actually real. None of it makes any sense. It sounds good though to believe in a great creator who thinks humans are so important.

Faith is a different construct. Anything is possible with God.
People, including Christians, know so very little about faith.

I believe that is Saturday, the Sabbat ? You are mastering in Genesis, you should think so too... I suppose! ❤
The question “If God is good, why the world is bad”, has an interesting twist when asked “If God is evil, why there is good in the world?” Who can explain the good things in this world if there in no a force for good? If this God is all powerful and evil, why do we experience anything good in our life?

And what if God, wanting to demonstrate His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much patience vessels of wrath having been prepared for destruction, and in order that He might make known the riches of His glory upon vessels of mercy, which He prepared beforehand for glory- even us, whom He also called, not from among Jews only, but also from among Gentiles?"
Romans 9:14-24 LSB
There is no credible proof of any god anywhere at any time.
have you considered....free will?
mankind's sin is what introduced death and decay into the world.
It's an interesting topic worth studying/researching out further
don't just assume "if God is love and all good, then..."
"...He must control everything", or "...hell must not exist", "or everyone gets to go to heaven", or "God understands if I sin and so I'll just keep doing it", but these are bad/incorrect assumptions.
I can say that they are incorrect because it goes contrary to other things revealed in the Bible. Our understanding of the God of the bible, should be based on what the Bible says
God does intervene, at times, but it seems like mostly He honors human free will and lets it play out based on what our actions warrant.
I use my freewill to not sin.
That way, blood magic isn’t needed.
You should try to exercise your freewill in such a manner.
@@stevenbatke2475 that is what we are supposed to do, use our free will to not sin. However, we have all sinned at one point or another. We are all guilty, and cannot enter heaven (a place of perfection) unless the consequence is dealt with. It's like if you drive drunk and kill someone, you can do charitable deeds after, but you are still guilty of and have to pay the price for the manslaughter. You might think you're a good person, but that's only when you compare it to other fallen, sinful human beings. The standard to get into heaven is much stricter. It's not enough to be "a little better" than those around you, by your own estimation

So, let me ask, what is your religion? Atheism is a belief system and could be just as made up. Something from nothing, impossible, life from unlife, equally impossible. We are here; there must be a creator. Nothing comes from nothing.
@@markfrank0924 An argument from ignorance is no argument at all. You clearly have no understanding of what atheism means. It is not a belief system. I, as an atheist, have seen zero credible evidence for the existence of any god let alone the one you can't prove exists
Atheism is based on the belief that there is no God. That belief determines how one thinks and lives their life. That's what a belief system is. Atheism is a belief system based on a belief.

" Bad things happen because GOD is good and mankind is bad."
Why is mankind bad if God created us and all other life forms? It would seem more likely that if God created the world and humans that God is evil because of all the evil that is in the world. On what basis do you say God is good? Do you have an independent standard for good that you measure God by, or are you measuring him based on his own standard? In the latter case, it means we have no basis for saying God is good but only God is God and meets his own standards regardless of what they are.
Why would our free will be bent toward evil rather than good? How did sin enter the world?
God is love in that while we sinners Christ came and died for us.
SATAN IN A WORD, WHO DO YOU THINK THE MURDERER IS? SATAN
Does Satan kill more the Yahweh?
I don’t think so.
He cant exept coz gay god calz it sin and think it not fear but must understand so is every other sin but he is forgiven and can be to unrerstand why it is like this and he will be able to hear why from jesus it is pride that say all this and evil spirit be gone under foot kf jesus get out of fry and ujder footnof jesus now amen

*His sovereignty revolves around Him allowing us our own free will. Paul spoke of Timothy's unfeigned faith...when God sees our unfeigned faith He responds by rebirthing our spirit and he is faithful to complete.*
I understand salvation differently.
That's what Ephesians says : "Whilst we were DEAD in sins and trespasses...."
Please, I won't be arguing over this - so please just take the time to sit down and consider the true import of all of this.
